In a forest glade is this small cottage with bedroom, living room, a small fully equipped kitchen, toilet and outdoor shower. The outdoor shower of course has hot water. Walking and cycling paths are right at your fingertips. It's only a few kilometers down to Hjo city.

The space
The cottage is secluded from the farm in a small clearing. It has a private driveway with parking outside the cottage. There is a patio under the roof with a barbecue and garden furniture. At the entrance is the outdoor shower with hot water, also under a roof. A small toilet with sink and water heater to the left inside the door and then a small but fully equipped kitchen. The living room with kitchen table, TV and sofa bed is the largest space and has large windows facing the veranda. The small bedroom has 2 separate beds and wardrobes. Duvets, pillows and blankets are available in the cottage, while bed linen and towels must be brought. They can also be rented for a fee of SEK 50/person. Toilet paper, paper towels, soap and dish detergent are provided. New elements have been installed in the cabin. Cleaning is done by you as a guest. Vacuum cleaner, scrubbing bucket and cleaning agent can be found in the kitchen and outside the shower. Dishcloths and dishwashing detergent under the sink in the kitchen. Feel free to look in cabinets and drawers if you get curious. The books on the bookshelf are welcome to be borrowed and exchanged.

Guest access
We who rent out are Martin, Ida and Hugo, 10 years old. We live a few hundred meters away on a small farm with sheep, chickens, cats and a large garden.

Other things to note
No sheep in the pasture in 2025, when the pasture is resting.

It has the opportunity to relax in a quiet and family-friendly environment. The house is well equipped and newly built. Very fresh with high standard standard.
300 meters to a lake and 5km to Hjo city center.
Perfect accommodation for those who want a good place to start. Parking is included and the host lives in the house next door.

The guest house is situated in a stunning garden setting 8mins drive North of Hjo. Wildlife seen by our guests, in the forest, include elk, deer, red squirrels, hawks, eagles & cranes. Lake Vattern is 5mins by bike.
The wooden town of Hjo is located on Lake Vättern between Gothenburg & Stockholm. The city structure is almost exactly the same as in medieval times. The steamship S/S Trafik is one of the oldest in Sweden going on regular trips to Visingsö. Tivedin National Park is close.

The space
A unique garden setting with a lot of character and an opportunity to stay in a traditional Swedish "Stuga". The cottage has board games, books & some vinyl records. There is ample garden space with outdoor furniture and BBQ.

Guest access
The garden space covers 1 ha of garden with unique species of trees & plants including Rhododendron, European Beech & roses.

The lake is around 15 mins walk, including picnic area and great swimming opportunity!

Other things to note
Pets are not allowed in the guest houses.

There is a wireless internet connection that you can use but does not reach the cottage.

Now it is possible to rent the Lill cabin in the beautiful summer town of Hjo. Lillstugan is placed on the property where cats, hens & dog run around. The cottage is located about 3 km from the center of Hjo where you will find the beautiful city park, the marina and several cozy restaurants.
The cottage is suitable for the small party.
Pets are welcome if kept under supervision.

Lillstugan consists of a room & toilet with shower and combined washing machine/dryer. Double bed (180 cm). Guest brings own bed linens & towels (can be rented for SEK 150/pp).
Small kitchen/kitchenette with coffee maker, kettle, microwave and kitchenware.
Barbecue is available outside, guest is responsible for barbecuing responsibly, guest is responsible for charcoal and lighter fluid.

Lillstugan is located at the end of the yard and on the farm there are two more dwelling houses.
