Our cabin is a great place to stay. It is newly decorated, bright and airy in a picturesque setting with lovely views and a great location. Kinsale is "the jewel of Ireland" offering everything you would want in a holiday from fab restaurants to great beaches and fun filled activities.

The space
The Cabin is a lovely space, newly decorated to complement its seaside setting. It has a spacious living/dining area with an outside deck and sea views. The master bed also enjoys a great aspect, allowing you look over the boat masts of the nearby boat yard to the sea and rolling hills of the surrounding countryside, all from your bed. There is a sweet and well appointed bunk bed room, a shower room with lashings of hot water and a well equipped kitchenette for those who like to cook. There is also a large comfortable sofa bed in the living area which allows for 2 more guest. This accommodation is ideal for 4 people but 6 are welcome, if you don't mind a bit of a tight squeeze!

Directly from the Cabin you have access to some lovely walking. There is a great circular coastal walk which goes right past our front door. We are a 15/20 minute walk to the local pub, the award winning Bulman, or a 3 minute drive. There is a nice little pebbly beach at Lower Cove that is a couple of minutes away (again easy to reach by foot) and the historical Charles Fort is just up the road. Our cabin is a 5/10 minute drive from the centre of Kinsale which offers fab food, great little shops and interesting galleries, all in the lovely setting of the active port side town.

We have a cozy guest cabin in our garden.
It is situated behind our cottage We live roughly 4 miles outside Kinsale in a charming rural area. All narrow roads.
It is very relaxing, a perfect place to chill, while being 10 minutes drive from the tourist town.
We always hope that the weather is kind.
In some cases, people like to light the stove.
We usually leave 2x Firelogs , and if there is a requirement for more , they can be purchased in LIDL
Note: There is no public transport from Kinsale

The space
Our cabin, which consists of 1 large room with an en-suite with a Walk In shower, accommodates 2 with 1 double bed.
It is Self catering.
There is a Cozy Sofa to relax on, a kitchen area, complete with Kettle, Toaster, Fridge, Microwave, and a 2 ringed Electric Hob, Pot and fryng pan.
There is complimentary Tea, Coffee , Sugar.

Since Covid I do not prepare a daily Breakfeast. However on arrival, you will find a Welcome Basket to cover a light Breakfeast for your Stay.
We are at hand to help with any directions /advice on the area.
If there is anything you require we will do our best to accommodate you.

Guest access
The space directly outside the cabin can be a very pleasant spot to sit and enjoy early morning sunshine.

Our garden is split into different areas , some of it is left 'Wild'.
The front garden is for our own use.

If you are lucky it is always lovely to get up close to our neighbour's cattle as they pass at milking time on the road outside the main house.

We have 2 very cute outdoor cats , and 1 very spoiled little dog which means that Pets are not welcome.

There are lovely country walks and depending on whether you are a keen photographer or maybe prefer a canvas, you will not be disappointed with the beautiful countryside.

All this before you venture into the picturesque, historical town of Kinsale,
where you can take a walking tour, sail, fish, tour the Harbour, or just relax in the many fine Pubs/restaurants and cafes.

This self contained studio apartment is newly converted from existing stables. It is located just a 15 minute stroll from the centre of Kinsale which has an abundance of excellent cafes, restaurants and an open air market on a Wednesday.
It consists of a private entrance porch and stable door leading to an open plan living area with a partition to a double bed and a door to the bathroom. There are laundry facilities in the porch.
It is 400square feet.
It has on site private parking.

15 minute walk to Kinsale town centre. Totally private in the countryside , rural living, horses , dogs and cats on site. The horses are worked in the arena which is outside the studio windows.
