- "First of all... We travel to see the town and experience the culture... Not to sit at the hotel all day. That said, this hotel was a short walk from the train station... And it is far enough off the beaten path that you will truly feel like a local. The staff was extremely friendly, and the hotel room felt like home with a balcony that had an incredible view. The staff was very helpful going out of her way to provide suggestions or lend an umbrella to use at the beach. You will not truly appreciate the town until you visit the other 5 cities in the CT. We felt that this town was more relaxed... Family friendly, true resort feeling than the other towns (especially further south). The placement of this B&B was on the walkable outskirts, which was an excellent balance of resort and local. If you are looking for a 5 star big name resort... Keep looking. If you are looking for a home base to immerse yourself into the CT, this is your spot. We spent our 3rd day in Riomaggiore, and wished we would have stayed here another night instead."
