- "First of all... We travel to see the town and experience the culture... Not to sit at the hotel all day. That said, this hotel was a short walk from the train station... And it is far enough off the beaten path that you will truly feel like a local. The staff was extremely friendly, and the hotel room felt like home with a balcony that had an incredible view. The staff was very helpful going out of her way to provide suggestions or lend an umbrella to use at the beach. You will not truly appreciate the town until you visit the other 5 cities in the CT. We felt that this town was more relaxed... Family friendly, true resort feeling than the other towns (especially further south). The placement of this B&B was on the walkable outskirts, which was an excellent balance of resort and local. If you are looking for a 5 star big name resort... Keep looking. If you are looking for a home base to immerse yourself into the CT, this is your spot. We spent our 3rd day in Riomaggiore, and wished we would have stayed here another night instead."

The outside area with breakfast between the trees and looking down on La Spezia is something special. The breakfast offered a small continental selection, fruits, eggs and the typical Italian sweets. The room and bath size was good, not too small. When I was there, on one day the air conditioning was not working, but was fixed on the next day. We picked this hotel because we had a rental car and wanted to take the train to Cinque Terre. Hotels in the main city of La Spezia had very limited or complicated parking. This worked out very well as the train station was only ~500 meters from the hotel. Our room was absolutely spotless. We stay in a lot of hotels of all price ranges both in chains and independent hotels and the attention to detail at this small was very impressive...it ticked all the boxes in a way that usually only the better brands of chain hotels do. The space
The property covers about two hectares of unkind forest, while all around the house we have a large garden well maintained with centuries-old plants, a citrus grove and seasonal flowers.

The outdoor areas are equipped to relax and eat breakfast.

Being a period villa, it has large windows with vaults and Liberty-style railings, comfortable rooms and high ceilings now unavailable with a pavilion vault.

To get to the property you have to take a staircase of about 70 steps, the charm of the ancient Ligurian mansions.

The private room is on the ground floor, while the bathroom on the mezzanine floor, the kitchen is for the customer's private use and is outside even if nearby.

They will never be around without our direct control, don't feed them.
