The owner, Michel, lives upstairs and has obviously taken great care to ensure that the establishment is well maintained, both inside and out. My in-room bathroom had been recently remodeled, the bed was comfortable, the room was dark at night and quiet, the in-room air conditioner worked well and gave me control over the temperature setting, the breakfast was excellent, guests have access to a well equipped and also up-to-date kitchen, and there's a nice enclosed outdoor garden with seating as well. Michel is a delightful host who not only cheerfully allowed both me and my luggage to hang around until mid-afternoon because I had a late-day flight but who also called a taxi for me and rolled my big suitcase to the cab. In short, it's a great place, far preferable in my view to the hotels I considered at comparable and even higher price points. I look forward to a return visit in the future. Thanks!"

- "On my way to Spain, I made my stop for the night at this maison. The house is in an extremely quiet area and feels very relaxing. The house itself shows its age, and the surroundings around it is farmers land I assume. I had a room overlooking the pool, and the room was fine. Everything worked and was well maintained. The TV only had french stations so not worth watching. I couldn't get the wifi to set up (due to my clumsiness?) so I used my own. So please ask about it if you decide to stay there. The host was very friendly and did her best to speak English. Everything was clean and although the bed was very low, I slept like a rose. The breakfast area was outside in the little garden and felt typical french. So was the breakfast. Good coffee. All in all, it was a good decision as a stopover on my way to Spain."
