At the first floor there are three cosy bedrooms with private bathroom and toilet.
15 years ago, Hans,the former owner-chef of a Michelin starred restaurant left the hectic restaurant life to settle down at the paradisiacal setting of Savouillon with his wife Tiny!
For a very reasonable price, you can treat yourself with a delicious gourmet meal composed of the best, biologically grown products the Provençe has to offer, served either on the terrace or in the charming living room.

The included full breakfast with homebaked bread and croissants is also served on the terrace or inside, depending on the weather, which is usually beautiful wit approx. 300 sunny days a year!

At Sault, the nearest town (10km), you will find everything you need: supermarket, bakery, shops, cafes, pretty terraces and of course the Touristoffice!
In the neighbouring towns and villages you can visit the Provençal markets almost every day.

With its central location, you can also make trips to cities such as Avignon, Orange or Aix en Provence.

Other recommended visits are hikes to ochres of Roussillon and the Provencal Colorado in Rustrel, the villages of Gordes and Isle sur la Sorgue and the charming Senanque Abbey.
Bonnieux, Lacoste and Lourmarin are also picturesque villages to discover.

In addition, you are only an hour and a half drive from the French Riviera and the Alps.

But if you decide to stay around the house or your room, there is enough to discover.
From Savouillon you will find several well signposted hikingtracks, leading the cyclist or the hiker through the forests and lavender fields.
The Luberon Regional Park is rich in game and it happens that you pass during your walks a herd of deer or you have the chance to watch from a distance a family of wild boars. Hiking maps and descriptions are available.

Located in the heart of the village, La Maison Bleue is a charming Provençal character house on 3 floors. It is also an art gallery. Painting lovers will be able to discover the works and interact with the artist. But above all, it is a house where it is good to live and where hospitality is appreciated and recognized. From the terrace we have breathtaking views of Mt Ventoux. The mezzanine has become over time, a hanging garden where plants evolve generously. A well of light gives all its originality to this house which is for us a haven of peace full of charm.

Come and discover our independent room with terrace in Sault-en-Provence at the foot of Mont Ventoux. Just 800 m from the village, you can enjoy the calm and serenity of the place. Located 10 minutes from the Nesque, you'll have access to plenty of hiking trails. The Montbrun-les-Bains thermal spa is 15 minutes away as well as the Toulourenc Valley.

The space
The room measures 20 m2 in total. It is equipped with a 140 x 200 bed (sheets and towels provided), a wardrobe, a shower room and a toilet. Breakfast is included in the nightly rate and is served every morning on the terrace. A coffee maker and a kettle are also available in the room. Although there is no kitchen area, many shops and restaurants in the village will welcome you with pleasure (Provençal, Vietnamese cuisine, creperie, takeaway pizzas).

3km from Sault the gite sits in the grounds of our house. Sault, the lavender capital of France has everything you could need - restaurants/cafes, wine shop, charcuterie, butcher, supermarket, 2 bakeries, bike hire and much more.

The view of the valley is beautiful, the lavender scents waft across year round and the Autumn colours are incredible.

The standalone accommodation can sleep up to 4 with a super kingsize bed and small double sofa bed in the bedroom and additional single bed sized sofa downstairs.

There is an outdoor dining area / bbq. Lockable bike storage available on request in advance (free of charge).

The gîte is in the grounds of our house. We are not permanent residents so you’d have the garden to yourself and we have a local contact should you need assistance during your stay.

The gite sits separately to the main house. It is attached to our garage. You have your own outdoor seating area. There is plenty of parking directly outside the gite.
