The only sounds we heard were birds when woke us gently at daybreak. It was a wise choice we made when we decided to stay at Bastide Tara!"

- "We stayed here as a family for one night. We all really loved it. It's in beautiful surroundings, very peaceful and quiet with views of the Vineyard. The room was a reasonable size with stairs up to a loft room with twin beds which our kids loved. Plenty of storage. Comfortable beds. Guests also have use of the downstairs kitchen and garden room and outside patio. You can help yourself to a glass of wine from the fridge and there is a decent coffee maker too. Breakfast was laid out for us in the morning - lovely. Our kids enjoyed playing with the foosball table. The owner was welcoming and friendly - and we managed to get by with my limited French and some help from google translate! Would definitely recommend. It's a 5 minute drive to a small town, where we ate a lovely French bistro. And about 15 minutes to Aix en Provence. Definitely a more authentic way to experience France. And don't forget to purchase some lovely wine when you leave! We were all a bit disappointed we were only there for one night. "
