The Bluegum Studio is a modern, homely, industrial designed accommodation with all the features you need for you stay. It’s set in a peaceful, rural property with surrounding of bushland, Blue Gum trees and clearing. You can choose to relax in the quiet, private accommodation or explore the many attractions that the south west has to offer. The surrounding yard is designed to be kid friendly with a mini nature play area. As the area around the Studio is fenced, dogs are welcome.
The space
The Studio is fully insulated which makes it very cosy and warm in winter and quite cool in summer. There is also the option of a fireplace or reverse cycle air conditioning.
The Studio is located in Yallingup and it’s about a 5 minute drive to the beautiful Yallingup beach. Enjoy the surf or simply relax and be a spectator. It is only about a 10 minute drive to the main town of Dunsborough where you will find local supermarkets such as Coles or clothing stores.
Please just ask if you require a porta cot, high chair or fire guard.
Dogs are welcome to stay. The yard is completely fenced, however it has big ringlet holes which small to medium dogs may fit though. There is a doggy door to the shed which dogs may use but it is encouraged that they have a mat to be their allocated area when they are inside.
There’s an abundance of wildlife as there is also a winter creek on the property. You’ll likely see kangaroo’s and birdlife.
There are many wineries and breweries in the area all with their own unique flavours. Be sure to check out Happs Winery and Wild Hop Brewery. There are also many amazing restaurant’s close by who serve delicious meals such as Goanna Cafe, Barnyard’s and Rivendell. Check out all the galleries – Yallingup is an Art lovers paradise. Don’t forget take an adventure tour underground at Yallingup Ngilgi Caves.

We have recently connected the WiFi from the main residence so the signal is strong.
As it has a tin roof with no Gyprock lining, it can become quite noisy with heavy rain.
The Studio is supplied with natural rainwater. Please be mindful of how much water you use as there is only 2 smaller tanks which collect the rainfall over the winter months.
There is a strict check out at 10am to allow for cleaning. You may incur a check out late fee if you have not discussed a late check out and you have not left the premises by 10am. This is to ensure the property is clean for the next people to arrive. Thanks.

Koonga Maya is tucked away in the Gunyulgup Valley amongst
Jarrah and Marri trees overlooking the gully close enough to the crystal clear waters of Smiths Beach which you can hear in the winter months. Our shouse has a rustic homely charm with a relaxed feel after a day of exploring wining and dining. Close to the main residence however private and quiet. The space is for Adults only and no pets. Selection of tea coffee and small breakfast items included with fresh eggs from our chickens.
The space
Adults only - Our shouse Koonga Maya ( shed converted into a mini house ) our intent is for an affordable relaxing private adults retreat with homely touches to relax and unwind as we know we need a little escape from work and the daily grind. We are in the hub of The Margaret River Wine Region and beautiful beaches . The shouse is comfortably equipt with one bedroom a queen bed separated by a curtain open plan lounge kitchen area with potbelly fire to keep you warm in winter firewood provided free of charge and the clean fresh country air that blows in through the windows in summer aircon for the really hot days. Large bathroom with shower only and washing machine. There is a sofa lounge in the living area that can be made up at an additional charge of $50 per night per person payable by direct deposit prior to arrival. All linen is provided. Breakfast Hamper or Wine Cheese Hamper can be provided for at request for a charge two days prior to arrival. Animals are not allowed.

Property is for paying guests only no visitors or pets. When you arrive at the property you will need to come up the gravel driveway. Parking is opposite the the accomodation near the picnic table you will see a small wooden sign stating where to park. We are a family of 7 who live very close to the Shouse we shall give you your privacy and in return we would like the same having said that we are more than happy to help with any queries and can inform you of some great sight seeing places and restaurants close by. You may be greeted by our friendly dogs Bunji and Bindi.

Free Wifi is available inside the building and we recommend using apps on your device to connect to chrome for watching tv Telstra is the better signal for the area for mobile reception We are with telstra for our mobiles we find other providers don't get a strong signal. Please be mindful during summer with water use we ate on rainwater. Aircon please turn off when not in the shouse.
We would really appreciate that prior to departure the shouse be left in a reasonably neat and tidy condition striping the white sheets and doing your dishes. This would be truly appreciated. During winter months we have a potbelly firewood is provided at no extra charge however we ask to be conservative with the wood as it is difficult to source ,kindling can be found in the bush on our property and along the roads nearby if you wish to go for a nice bushwalk extra firewood is available just message us. Kitchen has everything you need there is a microwave, electric frypan ,stockpot, air fryer no oven tho. We have a coffee machine and provide coffee tea sugar. All linen including towels shampoo conditioner toilet rolls etc are supplied. Our chooks love scraps so please feel free to take them up to the chook pen. And the dogs love a pat. Its a home away from home.

Welcome to our peaceful Yallingup Hills accommodation. A small fully self-contained space & private covered alfresco is best suited for a couple or family of 4.
Enjoy a semi-rural setting with long open view, resident possums, birds & kangaroos.
Nearby towns of Yallingup & Dunsborough have plenty of wineries, caves & attractions to keep busy. Area is close to Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Pk, Meelup Regional Pk & world-renowned beaches.

The space
The retreat is an air-conditioned 56 sqm interior, 28 sqm alfresco found on the west side of the building and includes a signed parking space.
The retreat is best suited for 1 or 2 adults and accommodates a maximum of 4 people. A cozy small open-plan space with divisions between all rooms. One queen size bed and 2 single sofa beds which are only set up according to the booking.
The outdoor space is suitable for adults and not designed for families with young children or toddlers as it is unfenced and there are dams and waterways on adjoining properties.
Resident wildlife are a guaranteed sight. You will awaken to birdsong and kangaroos passing through in the mornings. Both endangered ringtail possums and black cockatoos use the trees for foraging. The property exists in harmony with reptiles, amphibians, insects and birds that reside here.
The construction is made of lined and insulated colorbond tin. On quiet nights you can hear waves crashing at Yallingup beach from down the valley plus the frogs and birds from the surrounding area. This may also mean that the rain can be loud in heavy falls.
This property uses a septic system, solar power and rainwater tanks as we endeavor to have a low impact on our environment. Septics can only manage paper flushed into its delicately balanced system.
We use the water that is collected in the winter to last us the rest of the year. Please use water sparingly by ensuring taps are turned off promptly. We request you enjoy showers that are less than 5 min for the preservation of water.
We use solar power to run our property during the day. The rooms are lit well with natural light from skylights. Electricity is best used when the sun is shining on the solar panels.
We request that you do not enter the veggie patch area as this is the space our kelpie x border collie Luna enjoys during the day. Please say hello, she is very friendly.
No fires are permitted in the fireplace or outside during seasonal fire bans.

The cottage adjoins the main house, which the host resides in, but guests have full personal use of the cottage and its amenities. The remaining area is private property of which the hosts may be seen working on, tending to the vegetable gardens and their chickens.

The cottage is perfectly located within walking distance of the Cape to Cape track and your host can offer drop off and pick up from key access points, picnic lunch or sunset drinks. Airport transfers can also be arranged. Please contact the host to organise these extra services.

The space
We live on the property, two of us and one inquisitive Lakeland Terrier. The studio retreat and main house are under one long roofline, though totally separated. Each module is private and has its own entrance and car parking.
If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place for you. We won't bother you but we're always available for advice or help.
Inside, quality furnishings and contemporary art add a high level of comfort and interest. Outside, spotting the wide array of birdlife is captivating at close quarters from the elevated deck. The deck is the perfect place to relax with a locally sourced glass of wine while watching the sun go down.
This is a great spot for a romantic getaway! The master bedroom with its luxurious king bed and quality bedding looks across the elevated deck and stunning view.
The luxury bathroom has a free-standing bath and huge shower together with a separate toilet/powder room. The lounge area has a 65 inch Samsung Smart TV with the full Foxtel package and Netflix. A Sonos sound system to play your favourite music. We have a superfast Starlink internet connection.
The kitchen contains a hot plate, small convection oven/microwave, quality cookware, air fryer, slow cooker, rice cooker, toaster, coffee machine, serving dishes, kitchen utensils and dishwasher. A Weber BBQ sits on the deck along with a day bed and a couple of Adirondack chairs.
There is a wood-burning stove - great for those Winter nights where you just want to stay in, light the fire and be cosy. Living and bedroom areas all have ceiling fans and there is a split reverse cycle air-conditioner in the living area, providing cool air which tends to travel through to the bedroom.
A newly installed spa awaits on its own private deck area. It offers an amazing spa pool experience with dual loungers and hydrotherapy massage.
Quality bedding and towels provided. Dedicated external parking area on the property.
There are so many things to do within a 10-15 minute drive of the property as you are conveniently located close to Dunsborough town and beach, Yallingup beach, Smith's beach, Simmos' ice-creamery, local wineries and much more.
