Hiking options are in abundance inclusive with the wildflower season from Autumn through Spring it offers breathtaking views of the 'great outdoors'.

SEPPINGS LAKE; 5min walk to a naturalistic Lake Seppings immersed with marsh/bush. Multitude of Water friendly.' Seppings Birdwalk' located off of Emu Point Road...20 min walk. Varied birdlife in surrounding bushland/reserve.

MIDDLETON BEACH: Cafes open at 6am for Breakfast through to 9pm for light snacks at the Hybla.
Surf Club on the foreshore. Early morning swimmers.
Grab a paper supplied while you enjoy your meal/ up with some
locals.
Barbecues on the beach/Ayers it easy.

ELLEN COVE: 4km return scenic ocean/island views for walkers/bikers alike. More Birdlife in this bushland..(10 minutes walk from C'est La Vie) Whale Watching Platform.

SURFING/PADDLE BOARDING: Middleton Beach does attract some light surfing. Little Beach off of Two Peoples Bay has more cumbersome waves for body-surfing as Denmark is a Surfers haven.

ALBANY WHALING STATION; This is located at the end point of Frenchman Bay Rd. Popular must see tourist option. Beach is 5 picnic/barbecue options. This bay can be seen from the Boardwalk at Middleton Beach. (Whale Tours are available: best times are from July - early November).

BLOWHOLES/GAP: these attractions are on the road to the Whaling Station as is Stoney has a different perspective of the Albany coastline.

THE WINDMILL FARM; detours off of Frenchman's Bay Rd (a lot to see on this road). Separate walking/viewing options so allow time to take it all in at your leisure. Bibbulmun Track starts here.

ANZAC VISITORS CENTRE: A 'must' see tourist attraction/personal point of interest. This was recently ranked 21 on the Worlds Lonely Planet list of accredited places of value to visit. This was built just recently to coincide with the 100 year Anzac Commemorations last year which attracted around 70,000 many people have come and gone since this time. A place that tells a story and takes you back in time.

II'm pretty casual so will let you settle in and do your own thing..with so much to do and little time to see it all. Keep you informed of local events and places of interests that may compliment your own and open up some valuable opportunities/memories to take with you. Ask for availability re: early check in.

I love the laid atmosphere which has that taste of country life with a dash of suburbia. So many opportunities to unwind and relax. Easy social interaction.
Options to swim at the nearby beach with the locals or the pool 5 min drive..I do some laps mostly mid week and relax in the sauna/spa.

Great selection of local musos over the weekend til late.
Fine dining/wine/dance opportunities. Venture out to local wineries Porongurups/Mount Barker/ Denmark which rank alongside the few which are attached to the Albany townsite.

Music on weekends at wineries during Spring/Autumn...pull up a patch of lawn with a picnic to open air music..great ambience integrating at ease with the locals.

Homemade produce/crafts in abundance.

Trekkers will want to try out Bluff Knoll in the Stirling Ranges and visit the Lily (food/coffee/wine/accommodation)..while your in the vicinity. Pluen built the Windmill restaurant from recycled materials form and old railway office/jetty etc..and architectural masterpiece which is now utilised as a flour mill.

Wildflower season is around late Winter to Early Summer.

Whale season is late July to early November. Whales are putting on a show this year..basking at Middleton Beach. Dolphins at Princess Royal Harbour. Jet Boat Tours in the off season.
So much to do and so little time to see it in.

Markets are pretty constant all year round with Cruise Liners frequenting the Albany Port. Farmers Markets every Saturday morning. Boatshed Markets (Marina) every Sunday morning with music.(Fresh Produce).

There are Whale/Wildflower/Winery tours etc on the go..check online for availability to avoid disappointment.

Fully self contained you have your own access. Easy access to the Porongorups - Castle Rock (35 min) and wineries and the Stirling Ranges - Bluff Knoll. Quiet and welcoming.
10-13 min drive into York St Albany, Middleton Beach, Anzac Centre, Boardwalk. 5 min to local supermarkets.

The space
The kitchenette includes a large fridge, microwave, slow cooker, air fryer, sandwich maker, electric fry pan and hotplate. Expressi Coffee Pod Machine (Aldi brand) - Please bring your own coffee pods. There are also bbq facilities available. Polished concrete floors and an open floorplan with bathroom that also houses a washing machine. Plenty of room to park the boat or RV! A short walk to the River - perfect for Kayaking should you own one. Plenty of room in the cottage should you also wish to bring extra bedding for another small child (eg basinet), however we do request you advise if you are going to do this. Double bed recently upgraded to a Queen.

Our Hidden View has an amazing view of the local farm land and Torndirrup National park. Local birds love to join our guests on the balcony for a feed.
The Accommodation is not big but practical. There is 1 room with 1 single bed and 1 room with 1 queen bed. The living area is combine with an open kitchen/dining room opening to the decking which has a mini Weber, a table& chairs. This is under roof.
2 Radiators are provided in winter as well as electric blankets.
NO PETS ALLOWED.

The space
My place is close to many activities, the city centre, beautiful Torndirrup National park, Albany Wind Farm, Princess Harbour, Kite surfing beach, walks, and a lot more.. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the views, the people, the birds, the next door horses, the wild life and the peaceful surrounding.

We have 2 bedrooms.
But If you need them both you need to book the accommodation for 3.
Our Hidden View is not for families with children as there is a high balcony and water hazard. Babies will be fine but no toddlers or schooled children please.
All booking for 1 or 2 people will be only provided with one bedroom.
The Porto cot can only fit in the bedroom with the single bed. If you have a baby you need to book for 3 people to give you the space to fit the Porto cot.


To get to the Hidden View you need to walk through the carport to the Winter Garden, You will see a sign written Hidden View.


Our only neighbours are the birds and the farm animals in the next paddock.... The fact we are on the edge of a farm we get to enjoy the open space of an open field with its ponies and horses.
But unfortunately we do get a few flies, mosquitoes and other creatures flying in due to our proximity to nature. I am not keen on using strong chemicals so you may see them around. But nothing to worry about. It is what our nature brings to us.
The local pond provides a great Habitat for many different species of frogs which you will hear in the evening. They can be loud, especially the motorbike ones.
We also have a family of Kinks Skink Lizards leaving nearby and a couple of bandicoots under the decking. Not to forget the possums in the trees that you may see from the decking. All so cute. Everyone of them leaving around in armory. I hope you will enjoy them.

Across from the farm and at the edge of Torndirrup National Park, there is Albany Riffle shooting range. They are operating occasionally on weekends and when the wind is from the South East and strong, the sounds travels towards us. Just so you are aware of this.

Otherwise We are 4 km from the town centre.
And 4 km from the Albany Wind Farm. A great place to check out at sunset!

Walk through the car port into the winter garden and you will find the door on your right.

Other things to note
Please look after our Hidden View, we are proud of what we provide and would like to keep it that way. Thank you.
For example : clean your dishes and put them away and switch the radiators and all lights off when you leave.

If you are going fishing while staying in our accommodation, please clean your fish at the Beach NOT IN OUR PLACE.
It is too hard to get rude of the smell for the next guests.

Also a reminder it is an accommodation for 3 people maximum. No toddlers please as we have too many hazards nearby.
Only 2 beds provided. 1 Queen and 1 single.
We live next door we will know if you bring extra guests. please don't. The accommodation is designed to provide for 3 maximum not more. please respect that. Or we will ask you to leave. ( too many times group of 6 have turned up hoping to just crash but it is not the right think to do )

Lotti's apartment is not always available... but when it is - you will enjoy!
The modern studio apartment has 65sq metres of clever space with a beautiful view of garden and harbour. It features bedroom and bathroom, TV room and living area. Garage parking but only for sedan vehicles, 4x4 SUV won't fit.

The space
The bedroom and TV room are separate from the generous kitchen dining lounge area.
The bedroom has a queen size bed, a workspace overlooking the garden and an en-suite bathroom/laundry.
The main living space has a modern well equipped kitchen, dining area and a window seat with views of the harbour which converts to a bed if required.
There is a deck under the mulberry tree that has a view of town and harbour.
This space is my own living space, but I am often away - then I clear the cupboards etc to allow guests to feel that it is their own and for them to love it as much as I do.

The newly built home consists of 2 floors. The owner resides on the top floor and is very mindful when he has guests, and you will be situated on the ground level with access via the front door. There is a locked door in the passage which leads to the owner's personal space.

There is a driveway shared between guests and the owner of the property. The local parkland is located directly opposite that also allows for parking.

There are two bedrooms one with a queen bed the other with two singles. There is one generous bathroom with a seperate shower and bath.
There is a small kitchen that provides all basic essentials including hotplate, microwave and airfryer.

Guests have access to the entire space on the lower floor. There is a separate entrance to the owner's space on the upper floor.

Other things to note
The property has a closed off enclosure to the side of the home that is safe should you need to occasionally leave your pet.
