The cottage is stylishly decorated and has everything you will need for a relaxing beach holiday or cosy weekend away, including a fully equipped kitchen, generous living/dining area, wifi and smart TV and undercover parking. The cottage was built in 1968 in classic modernist architectural style, and we have retained many of the retro mid-century fittings.
The living/dining area opens out onto the grassed backyard and the shade of a large peppermint tree, perfect for a cup of tea in the sunshine.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, while the large second bedroom has twin king singles (a third single fold-out bed can be provided and easily fits into this bedroom).
The bathroom has a shower and bath, with a separate lavatory.
The laundry has a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. All bed linen and towels are provided. A starter pack of coffee, tea and milk is also provided.

There is reverse-cycle conditioning in the main living/dining area, an electric blanket on the queen bed and extra blankets.

As a family of dog-lovers, we love to welcome your pets too. Oyster Cottage has a dog trampoline bed and feed/water bowls. Oyster cottage is accredited with the City of Albany under their Holiday Accommodation (Pet Friendly) Policy. Please be aware that the Policy does not permit dogs in bedrooms, on any furniture and or left unattended at a property for extended periods. Our large backyard is fenced on three sides but is NOT secured from the road because it shares a common driveway with Cockleshell cottage. There are many off-leash dog exercise areas around Emu Point, including the beach at the end of our street towards Emu Point Marina and the large oval, Bovell Square, across the road. Please note there is a pet fee to cover extra cleaning of $15/day for one pet and $20/day for two of more

When booked with its neighbour cottage, Cockleshell, the cottages provides an excellent place for large extended families or groups of friends to stay.

For infants and toddlers, cots and high chairs are available on request.
On departure, please leave the cottage in a clean and neat state and wash all dishes.

Stock up on the Local Produce at the Farmers Markets(Saturdays) and the Boat Shed markets (Sundays). Look for other gormet suppliers during the week. Visit the many wineries of the region. Take a dip at the many lovely beaches.

This charming little cottage is very comfortable . Situated so you can walk to the Entertainment Centre , main street, Hotels , Restaurants , and with a view of the harbour as well. Complimentary breakfast provided consists of bread ,butter ,cereal, jams, coffee ,tea ,milk. The main bedroom has a queen bed and a single bed and the smaller room has a double bed. Oyster Cottage is your home-away-from-home-by-the-sea. It is located on a quiet street overlooking a park, just 200m from gorgeous beaches, and 500m from the popular Emu Point Café and kids play park.
Our family has holidayed at Emu Point for over 60 years and have many wonderful memories of time spent at ‘The Point’. We welcome you to enjoy our family holiday home and create your own special memories.
The space
Please read all the information below to check that our property is suitable for you and your travelling companions prior to booking with us.

The cottage is stylishly decorated and has everything you will need for a relaxing beach holiday or cosy weekend away, including a fully equipped kitchen, generous living/dining area, wifi and smart TV, Nespresso coffee machine and undercover parking. The cottage was built in 1968 in classic modernist architectural style, and we have retained many of the retro mid-century fittings.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, while the large second bedroom has twin king singles (a third single fold-out bed can be provided and easily fits into this bedroom).
The bathroom has a shower and bath, with a separate enclosed lavatory.
The laundry has a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities. All bed linen and towels are provided. A starter pack of coffee, tea and milk is also provided.
The kitchen/dining area opens out onto the grass backyard and the shade of a large peppermint tree, perfect for a cup of tea in the sunshine. The backyard is a common area, shared with the adjoining Cockleshell Cottage.
There is reverse-cycle conditioning in the main living/dining area, an electric blanket on the queen bed and plenty of extra blankets for those cold nights. Extra heaters can be provided on request.

As a family of dog-lovers, we love to welcome your pets too. Oyster Cottage has a dog trampoline bed and feed/water bowls. Oyster cottage is accredited with the City of Albany under their Holiday Accommodation (Pet Friendly) Policy. Please be aware that the Policy does not permit dogs in bedrooms, on any furniture and or left unattended at a property for extended periods. Our large backyard is fenced on three sides but is NOT secured from the road because it shares a common driveway with Cockleshell cottage. There are many off-leash dog exercise areas around Emu Point, including the beach at the end of our street towards Emu Point Marina and the large oval, Bovell Square, across the road. Please note there is a small pet fee to cover extra cleaning.

When booked with its neighbour cottage, Cockleshell, Oyster Cottage provides an excellent place for large extended families or groups of friends to stay.
Other things to note
For infants and toddlers, cots and high chairs are available on request.
On departure, please leave the cottage in a clean and neat state and wash all dishes.

Emu Point Beach Front Cottage is a fully self contained 2 bedroom historic cottage built approx. 80 years ago and fully renovated in 2010. We have been proud owners since 1983!

Located across the road from the beach at Emu Point, total relaxation is just a short walk away. Emu Point Beach Front Cottage takes you back the good old days of beach living.

The space
The cottage has 2 bedrooms at the front of the house. One master bedroom with a Queen bed and one room with 2 single beds. Both rooms have heating.

There is a lounge and dining room with a TV. The kitchen is located next to the living and dining areas and includes a fridge, oven, stove, microwave and utensils.

The Property is not fenced. Please be mindful of this if you have small children. They will need to be supervised in the large backyard. There are no cots available. Otherwise this property is child friendly.

Emu Point is the place to unplug so there is no WiFi available.
