Nowhere Else Cottage is a characterful well established, self-contained converted dairy on the Fleurieu Peninsula which started life, milking cows in the early 1900s until the early 80s. With one queen bedroom and heritage style bathroom with a claw-foot bath. You can relax and unwind in our cosy romantic cottage and indulge yourself in your own private indoor spa, overlooking the hill sides and perhaps getting a friendly visit from our cows and calves, almost at your doorstep. Or just take in the countryside from the cottage verandah with a glass of wine. A haven of peace, comfort and privacy. Enjoy the continental breakfast provisions for your 2- or 3-night stays, including, cereals, milk, orange juice, Homemade bread, butter and jams.
You will see all types of wildlife here, including kangaroos,deer, ducks and all other types of birds life the area has, including the local wedgetail eagles.

This cute weekender is situated on the edge of a small fishing village, Cape Jervis (on the mainland) gateway to Kangaroo Island. Whether your heading to the island or leaving, this is perfect location to stop, unwind, revive before you continue your journey.
Or you may want to trek a section of the Heysen Trail, or trek through Deep Creek National Park, or just do nothing and relax.
NOTE: minimum 2 nights over Long Weekends. No wifi (try to disconnect)

The space
The unique cottage has all basic amenities that you need, it's cozy, relaxing and a great place to unwind.
The Vibe is definitely Vintage/retro with some mid-century furniture mixed in with 70’s chic, There are lots of nik naks around the house (re-photo’s) so it has a personal shack feeling that people love.
The kitchen and bathroom have been updated.
Towels and bedding are supplied.

Other things to note
The local shop/service station has some food basics but we would suggest, it's best to buy all food and drinks on the way either from Yankalilla if coming from Adelaide, or Victor Harbour if coming from the east, u can buy petrol in Cape Jervis if needed.
As this is our holiday shack there is always basic food stuffs in the fridge ( ie butter, coffee,tomato sauce, bbq sauce etc) and basic cooking stuffs in the cupboard…so please feel free to help yourself ;/)
WATER
The only water we have comes from the SKY,
So it’s very precious, please be mindful of your usage during your stay.
