Nestled on the banks of the mighty Blackwood River, Riverscape, is a short walk to throw a line in, launch your kayak or SUP, an easy walk to town to shop, have coffee or dinner out, also a very short drive to the Colour Patch and the pristine waters of Flinders Bay. The small boat harbour is 4 kms.

The space
The perfect location for families with all that nature and the outdoors have to offer, but also close to the Augusta skatepark and BMX track, kids are safe to have their own adventure on bikes or exploring the banks and shallows of the river.
The cottage (recently refurbished) has a new modern well-equipped kitchens, dining and lounge area with smart TVs. The cottage has one queen bedroom. There is a bathroom and WC.

The grounds of Riverscape offer that good old fashioned holiday feel, with a lawn area and shady peppy trees, there is also a communal BBQ outdoor dining area and onsite laundry facilities.

There are no laundry facilities in the house. There is a laundrette located on site.

The space
Life is a series of moments you create with those you love. We've chosen to recreate our childhood memories of Augusta holidays by blending our unique mix of country and coastal ascetics, to create a warm and inviting space that tempts guests to step momentarily away from their everyday lives.

In our cosy cabin you'll find everything you need to truly relax and reconnect.

You’ll notice our exclusion of a television from the amenities. For our family, we’ve found this is the best way to bring conversation, laughter, moments of connection and pockets of quiet and tranquillity to our stay. We hope you find the same. We do have board games, books and a lovely potbelly fire to stare into in Winter. We love our little cabin and we hope you feel the same way when you visit.

Both living spaces are filled with overstuffed armchairs and a comfortable sofa to sink into. The bedrooms all have lovely fresh linen, with all bedding and blankets provided.

You can chose to watch the sunrise over the river through the gum trees while sitting on the large outdoor deck or relax with a cocktail at sunset as the kite surfers race across the river mouth. From May to August you may even spot a whale or two as they migrate north to warmer waters.

In winter, curl up in an armchair by the potbelly with a great book and snuggle in bed listening to the rain fall on our tin roof.

Take advantage of all the Augusta and surrounds have to offer whether it be the crystal blue waters of Flinders or Hamlin Bay, fishing, surfing, swimming, or visiting some of the award winning local vineyards and restaurants.

Leeway Cabin is a place to to reset, relax and enjoy life at a slower pace.

Guest access
Guests have use of the entire block and house. There is a grassed, enclosed backyard. There is a locked shed on site for housekeeping supplies.
