- "It was nice" - "The accommodation was showing its age - a renovation is required. The couch cushions were noticeably dirty because of their light colour. I washed them myself on day one. The tap washers need replacing as both kitchen and bathroom taps were hard to open. The beds were comfortable. Our biggest issue was that because the unit had metal external cladding, we could not get an internet signal on our phones and had to go outside to make phone calls. Very inconvenient as my husband is self employed and needed to use his laptop."

I have stayed in cabins in other caravan parks NONE of which have had an outside bathroom. When we arrived at the property we couldn’t get the key to work to open this outside bathroom. I called the property concierge who came within 5 minutes to open the door and show us the correct key. When I said the property description did not say it was an outside bathroom I was told that was what everyone else had/understood and walked off without any attempt to discuss the issue. Customer service? Non existent. The second issue was the cleanliness of this property. Before using anything in the kitchen (the glassware in particular) it was necessary to wash first. The floors and kitchen table felt sticky and the carpets in the bedrooms were not well vacuumed. The outside table was dirty, the railing on the verandah wobbly and unsafe. The only thing honest about the description of this property is its proximity to the beach. I did not expect luxury for the price but I did expect cleanliness. I also expect truthfulness from listings. Interestingly a paid ad for this property popped up on my Instagram during my stay with glowing 5 star reviews which I fail to see how they can be truthful."

- "Chalet excellent. Very clean and everything you need for self catering is included. Location is handy for walk to beach and road into Bussleton. Shops opposite site cater for all food options. Never met a member of staff, including booking office staff which made entering and leaving chalet difficult due to no internet. British phones would not allow calls and had to rely on family members to tether phone to complete necessary forms required by site sent on the day of arrival. Difficult to leave text to say we were leaving as required. Had to leave site before 10.00 however site office does not open until 10.30. "

Think camping without a tent or sleeping bag - this is a rustic, off-grid experience after all! Bring clothes, toiletries, sunscreen & hat, insect repellent, drinks & whatever you’d like to throw on the barbie. Our minibar fridge is tiny so if you're planning on bringing lots of provisions it might be a good idea to bring an esky and some ice. There are USB outlets in the cabin only, so ensure you bring your USB cables if you wish to charge your phone.

We’ve upgraded our cleaning services in line with current recommendations but we do ask that if you have been in contact with a confirmed case within 14 days of your arrival date you contact us immediately. We all need to stay safe and look out for each other!

Gourmet Traveller have awarded this winery with Top Cellar Door and Top Wine Experience awards, and their tasting and tour options are not to be missed – you’ll be talking and tasting with the winemaker herself! Their incredible wine sensory garden and extensive native gardens are a top spot to bring a picnic, a glass of wine & go for a wander.

There is also bushwalking, wildlife and bird-watching, as well as the opportunity to relax with your favourite book or games – we’ve snuck some old & new classics into the cabin for you to enjoy!

On a hot day make sure to visit the Canebrake Pool only a 15 minutes drive away and will provide you with a refreshing dip!

Parking is close to the cabin, but please stick to the parking area and designated tracks so we can keep the landscape looking beautiful.

Semillon is a comfortable chalet, intended to host two couples with the bedrooms at opposite ends of the living area. Park your car, pull on some rubber boots and wander through the forest, splash in the beautiful meandering Island Brook and take-in the sweet scent of our vines throughout your stay.

The secluded chalets were excellent, and were a great escape from the city, feeling like you were in your own slice of the bush. Being in the forest and secluded mostly from the other chalets was a highlight as we enjoyed morning walks in the forest around the chalet. Privacy and noise were a little disturbing." - "The accommodation was very clean, but way overpriced for what it was. Very few lights worked, some rooms had no globe, some rooms had no light fittings. The outside light was on when we got there and took a lot to find how to turn it off, eventually turned it off at the meter box. Although the chalet slept 4 there were 3 wine goblets and 4 champagne flutes, no water glasses. Clean & lovely surroundings but way overpriced for very basic accommodation."

With one of the most central locations in the Margaret River Wine Region the cabin is a one of a kind getaway. Located on our certified organic farm, vineyard and winery, Windows Estate. Dappled light streams in from the many windows without compromising privacy. A day bed both inside and out makes the perfect space to sit back and immerse yourself in this special location, no matter the weather. You will find a vintage outdoor bath tucked away in the surrounding landscape complete with running hot water and for winter a cosy fireplace complete with a bakers oven.

In an effort to minimise our impact on the environment the cabin was positioned to take advantage of the Northern sun and cooling sea breezes. It captures and stores it’s own rainwater, grey water is recycled onto the newly planted fruit trees and a solar hot water system provides the hot water for the cabin. The timber inside the cabin comes from a family farm, milled by my Father from trees that had fallen over the last twenty years. With every fixture, fitting & decor item possible being made in Australia the cabin is a testament to Australian craftsmanship.

Anyone caught smoking or with an open flame will be removed from the property immediately without a refund, risks a fine and will receive a bad review. Use of the fire is not permitted once burning permits are in place within the City or if the owners of the property deem it too risky. If there is no firewood in the cabin it can be taken that the fire is not available to use.
We cannot stress how dangerous open flames are on our property to our farm, our livelihood and that of our neighbours. It will simply not be tolerated.

For one morning in February pickers will be present in the vineyard block in front of you whilst we pick our grapes. Spray season runs Sept - Jan, we are certified organic so no sprays are dangerous however you may see a tractor early in the morning in the front block of vines.

Guests are not permitted to access paddocks, cattle yards, sheds and private houses.
