Sobae Sanso is a newly renovated, cute two-bedroom A-frame cottage nestled in the wooded streets of Misorano Forest. The cottage is located a few minutes walk from Echoland, the dining and entertainment hub of Hakuba Valley, which boasts a large array of traditional Japanese restaurants, as well as international dining options. Sobae Sanso is located just a few minutes walk from the shuttle stop, where you can catch buses taking you to all the major ski resorts in the area.

LIVING SPACES

Downstairs, offering views of the surrounding forest, is an open-plan space incorporating the lounge, dining area and kitchen.

The chic lounge area has sloping walls showing off the structure of the A-frame and a huge floor to ceiling window offering views of the forest. There is a flat screen TV, with accompanying Apple TV, allowing you to watch the latest movies and TV shows. Or listen to some tunes on the Bluetooth speaker. Needless to say, the chalet is also equipped with Japan’s blazing-fast broadband internet and WiFi. The powerful fan-assisted heater will keep you toasty warm.

The dining area adjacent to the kitchen has a round oak table where you can enjoy cosy evenings eating-in, or family breakfasts in the morning while admiring the snow scene outside.

The modern newly fitted kitchen features a fridge/freezer, an induction cooktop and a full-size oven. The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances and utensils you'll need for cooking anything from quick and simple breakfasts to gourmet meals.

BEDROOMS

Sobae Sanso has two double bedrooms on the second floor, sleeping four adults in comfort. The bedrooms are at the apex of the A-frame structure, offering a unique space. The beds in both rooms can be configured as two singles or one king, giving maximum flexibility.

As is typical of most of these A-frame designs, the stairs are quite steep. In particular, coming down can be a little tricky, and not suitable for the elderly or infirm. Young children should also take care. There are handrails for safety. Please acknowledge that you are ok with this before booking. Thanks.

The cottage has one bathroom downstairs, equipped with a shower, and a separate toilet next door. Guests can enjoy traditional Japanese bathing at one of the nearby Onsen hot springs, just a few minutes walk away.

There are a bathroom with shower and tub this connects with a washroom with washer / dryer. A fully equipped kitchen with European appliance. Finally there are a Japanese Tatami room where 2 single beds can be arranged.

2. Floor
There are 2 bedroom and toilet/wash sink. 1 bedroom with a queen bed including an office space for remote working. 1 bedroom with 2 x double bed. Both bedrooms has build in closet for storage.

BETSUINN is a cabin-style log home by the popular BESS. The wood-burning stove can’t be used inside, but you can enjoy a private bonfire on the balcony. The second floor has a master bedroom, the second bedroom, and a workspace extending into the atrium.

- Rental Car is highly recommended. As Hakuba is spread out, you will enjoy having your own car to get around. It will give you a great deal of freedom and flexibility
- Please make sure to have snow tires or chained and 4WD car.
- There's parking space in front of the house, please park your car there!

▶︎To Get Around
- The closest free shuttle bus stop is about 5 mins walk.
- The restaurants, bars, and cafes in Echoland Street are all about 10 mins walk away.

▶︎Pick Up/ Drop Off Service
- On the check-in day and check-out day, we offer the pick up/drop off service from Hakuba train station or Happo bus terminal during our office hour. Please let us know in advance if you need.
- We offer a supermarket run during our office hour. Please let us know in advance if you need.

▶︎No Smorking Inside
- The house is strictly NON-SMOKING. Please use the ashtray placed in front of the entrance.

▶︎The Mid Stay Cleaning
- A mid cleaning is provided for staying over 7 nights.(If you wish to cancel the mid cleaning, please let us know)

▶︎TV
- The local TV channels are unavailable. Please enjoy Netflix and Youtube!

▶︎BBQ Set
- We provide BBQ equipment for all guests only from April to November.
(3kg of charcoal, barbecue net, tongs, BBQ lighter, fire starters, outdoor chairs and table)

▶︎FACLITY
- Due to health and safety regulations, the wood fire is not to be used by guest.
