Hidden in the Navistal in the Tux Alps, the Hubird is located in sunny 1600m altitude in the middle of nature. 30 minutes from Innsbruck or two hours by car from Munich. The HUBIRD is the connection between the Bluebird Mountain Lodges and the old Gasthof Hubertus, which we lovingly renovated in 2016.
In winter Ski & Splitboard touring paradise - with appropriate snow conditions drag lift & two slopes directly in front of Hubird. The nearest ski area is Steinach am Brenner about 20 minutes away by car. Ski, splitboard & snowshoe tours start directly from the front door. Tobogganing & winter hiking in the Navistal is also excellent.
Hiking, biking, relaxing & enjoying peace and quiet in the summer. Hiking starts right outside the front door or you explore the surrounding trails with the bike.

The HUBIRD can not be reached by car! Walk to the hut about 15 minutes easy hike. Your luggage goes up to us with the Hubird Pick Up Shuttle, which we are happy to take along with those who can not manage their way on foot. In winter you can come to Hubird with snowshoes, touring skis or skidoo. Depending on the snow situation, a drag lift is also in operation, which brings you with your skis directly to the house ...

The Grafensalm is idyllically located at the end of the valley of the hiking paradise of Kolsassberg at about 1600 m above sea level. A rustic alpine hut with running hot water, both a wood-burning stove and an electric stove and heating, a fenced outdoor area with a sun terrace in the middle of the impressive Tyrolean mountains awaits you.

The space
The alpine hut has 2 sleeping lofts and one bedroom. A bathroom with toilet and hot water shower is available. The hut has an anteroom and a pantry with a fridge. The main room consists of a sitting area and a built-in kitchen with electric stove and cold water sink. In addition, there is a wood-burning stove including firewood as an additional heating and cooking option in the Grafensalm. An electronic radiator and a TV are provided. The Grafensalm is fenced and has a terrace with seating and lighting as well as a fountain in the outdoor area. The car can be parked safely within the fence free of charge.

The alpine hut is rented completely and is intended for the exclusive use of the guests in the agreed time.

The Grafensalm is an alpine hut approx. 20 minutes from the village of Kolsassberg. The nearest shopping and gas station is located in approx. 25 minutes away in Kolsass where there is also a pharmacy and a doctor can be visited. Bed linens and towels as well as dishes and grills are provided. Food from our own production can be purchased directly on the alpine pasture.

Our 32cm thick log cabin offers a unique charm. The smell of wood adds to the cozy atmosphere. In the bedroom, a box-spring bed provides a comfortable sleeping accommodation for 2; the sleeping floor has space for 3 guests and must be climbed over a ladder. For safety reasons, children must sleep on the pull-out sofa bed. The toilet is accessible separately from the kitchen-living room; the open bathroom adjoins the bedroom.

Our cozy Tyrolean wooden chalet offers a unique charm and space for 6 guests: one bedroom with comfortable double box spring bed and extra TV, another bedroom with 2 bunk beds and on the mezzanine there are two more single beds.
