Charming Cabins in Pompano Beach, FL for Your Getaway

Located in Pompano Beach in the Florida region and Pompano Beach reachable within a 4-minute walk, Cottages by the Ocean provides accommodations with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. The lodge provides guests with a terrace, garden views, a seating area, cable flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and an oven, and a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. A microwave, a stovetop and toaster are also provided, as well as an electric tea pot. A water park is available on site and both hiking and cycling can be enjoyed within close proximity of Cottages by the Ocean. Pompano Pier is a 10-minute walk from the accommodation, while Pompano Beach Amphitheater is 1.5 miles away.

If you enjoy your privacy during vacation, we have a comfy, cozy cabin in a tropical paradise, in our backyard! Guests have all the privacy they need in their own cottage; they come and go as they please, always having the option of relaxing by the pool on the lounge chairs, or in the Zen-like pergula area. Our yard is a half acre so there's plenty of room. The pool in between our house and the cabin. We recently switched to a salt-system instead of chlorine in our pool, it's better for your skin, hair & eyes. The cabin has a comfortable, king-sized, Tuft & Needle mattress, a 32 inch flat screen tv, wi-fi, a Mr. Cool mini-split AC, (we installed a new "Mr. Cool" mini-split AC in the front room, which efficiently and silently cools down the entire cabin) a microwave, gas stove, refrigerator, shower, (no bath tub). There is a free outdoor washer/dryer on the back porch for guests to use. We recently had a beautiful new awning installed over the laundry area.

This is a quiet place to study in a lush, tropical setting, and it is only a few blocks away from the flight school. Lou and Joanne were perfect hosts. They have a beautiful property with palm, mango, and eucalyptus trees, many flowering plants, and a salt water pool. My wife came out at the end of the class, and we spent a few extra days enjoying the nearby beach, shopping, Everglades and walking around Pompano Beach. This is a quiet location, but it is conveniently located close to a variety of activities. I look forward to returning."

PRIVATE, CLEAN & COZY CABIN. You'll feel like you're in a tropical paradise, 2 miles from the beach! We use a salt-system instead of chlorine in our pool, it's better for your skin, hair & eyes. There's a 5 mile bike/skate path 2 blocks away. For your convenience, there's a free washer and dryer on the back porch of the cabin, under a pretty new awning.

The space
Our cabin is private and secure. You have your own parking spot & private entrances, one in the back that leads to the bedroom and one in the front by the pool. The bedroom has a comfortable, king-sized, Tuft & Needle mattress to provide back support for a good night's sleep. We installed a new "Mr. Cool" mini-split AC in the front room, which efficiently and silently cools down the entire cabin. We live in 'Old Pompano' which is a historical landmark from the turn of the Century! Our street name, NE 5th Avenue, has recently been renamed 'Pioneer Drive!' Don't worry, the sign has both names.

Guest access
The cabin is situated on our 1/2 acre property, guests get a key that fits both front & back door. You also get your own parking slip, you can easily fit two vehicles if needed. We are 2 miles from the beach and pier where there is a lot of people & water activity. If you like long walks, the 5-mile asphalt bike/skate path goes around an Air Park where the Good Year Blimp is kept in an enormous hanger. You will see the blimp flying overhead many times each day. You also pass 'Sand and Spur Stables' and further along the path, you pass the back of the mall, the golf course and the dog park. There is a wide selection of stores, malls and restaurants in Pompano Beach. Movie theaters, an ice skating rink, bowling, parks and beaches are in the nearby vicinity. The Sample McDougald House, which was transported here for its preservation a few years ago, is a few blocks away. There is a beautiful golf course at the end of NE 10th St, which is also a few blocks away. We are about twenty minutes from Fort Lauderdale Beach, 5 minutes from our local beach, and about an hour from the famous Miami South Beach!

Other things to note
This cabin capacity is for one or two adults, no additional guests are allowed. $100.00 deposit to cover minor property damage, this will be refunded shortly after your departure. There is a $125.00 cleaning fee. There is no entertaining allowed on premises. Also, use pool at your own risk. Thank you!
