The Sailfish is a unit at Key Largo Cottages. We are located on the bay side of Key Largo near some of the best dive/snorkel sites, island excursions, bars, restaurants, and the Everglades. Experience water fun! A stay in one of our cottages comes with unlimited use of our kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, snorkel gear, fishing equipment, and, of course, the use of one of our 22' sailboats, if you have recent sailing experience on keel boats! You won't find a better deal in the Keys!
The space
This beautiful, free-standing, "Honeymoon Suite" is the Sailfish, which is right in front of the bay with it's own attached tiki hut that looks over the water. The Sailfish has a 1/4 bath and features a large, completely private outside tiki shower. It has a queen size bay view bed, compact refrigerator, 2-burner stove, cooking and dining utensils, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker with filters. Please note: We don’t provide toiletries; however, we do provide beach towels, bath towels, and linens. This is NOT a dog-friendly cottage.
The Sailfish accommodates just 2 adults.
Guest access
Guests share everything outside their reserved cottage. This includes the beach, docks, parking space, tiki hut, and water toys.

The property was originally hand-built in the 1950’s as a remote fishing camp with the bricks used to build the cottages also hand-made on site before building was commenced. Many upgrades have been completed over the last 20 years and more planned. Our property and amenities are in good working condition, but as normal, unforeseen things may arise from time to time. The Florida Keys is teeming with wildlife, like manatees, dolphins, birds, large/small lizards, and insects as would be expected from a tropical setting. That being said, Key Lime Sailing Club and Cottages is not a brand new 5-star resort. Guests can expect a friendly host, a clean air-conditioned cottage in an original Florida Keys resort. We are a great place to relax and we are in a excellent location to enjoy a warm tropical vacation.
