This part of the coast may capture more than usual, but this was an even more unusual and smelly, dirty amount. If your main vacation is swimming in the ocean, you might want to investigate the water quality at that time before booking. The pools were great for swimming in and very comfortable. While the interiors are obviously a bit dated (which really only adds to their charm) they are impeccably clean and the tropical landscaping is beautifully maintained. Communication from the owner, Elaine, was wonderful. Timely, complete and very personal. - "We stayed for a week over the 4th of July holiday. The house is beautiful, with every amenity you could ask for. The pool is great and has enough shade, so you are not baking in the sun. The outdoor eating area by the grill is also great. Inside, everything was perfect; the kitchen has everything you need. Going up the stairs does get tiresome as the master is on the 3rd floor. All bedrooms are very spacious. The only thing we noticed was that the AC unit did not cool the 3rd floor as well as the other floors; we could not get the temperature below 74. However, this was not a dealbreaker. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean. Each room has its own bathroom, except for two rooms that share one. The location is great, a 3-minute walk to the beach, and also a 5-minute drive to all the city amenities you might need. Overall, we loved the house and highly recommend it. We will definitely be staying here again."

Saltyside is 1 bedroom 1 bath. It has an open concept kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals or entertain. There is a gas grill and picnic table outside for the grill master among you.

The owner, Julie couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. The place itself is well appointed with lots of built in storage and 3 bathrooms. The area of Pompano Beach is über cute with lots of open air restaurants in walking distance. It was unfortunately cold the week we were there, so luckily the place had heat to keep us cozy. It would have been even better had it been warm to make the most of the location. Beach chairs, umbrella, and grill were all available to us as part of the rental."
