There is a happy hour each day, not on the weekends. They had live entertainment both inside and outside every night while we were there. Location is very walkable, with food and family options nearby if needed. A pier is an easy 1/2 mile walk with more food a family options. Great trip. P"

- "Everything was wonderful including the location, except the ocean. Certain conditions left the water very dirty with sea weed. This part of the coast may capture more than usual, but this was an even more unusual and smelly, dirty amount. If your main vacation is swimming in the ocean, you might want to investigate the water quality at that time before booking. The pools were great for swimming in and very comfortable. We walked to an excellent dinner next door, right on the ocean. Very nice."

- "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cottages by the Ocean and will happily stay again. My wife's first comment when we stepped inside was, 'What a great little find!" While the interiors are obviously a bit dated (which really only adds to their charm) they are impeccably clean and the tropical landscaping is beautifully maintained. Communication from the owner, Elaine, was wonderful. Timely, complete and very personal. Elaine, Chrysie (housekeeping) and Jaime (maintenance) were so helpful, very friendly and genuinely made us feel that our satisfaction was their only priority. Very highly recommended."
