🔸 House Rules: Please respect our home by adhering to the house rules, including no smoking, no pets, and no parties or events.

🔸 No pets are allowed on the property. If our housekeeping team finds any evidence of pets in the house, a $1,000 fine will be imposed to cover the necessary cleaning and sanitation.

🔸 Parties and events are strictly prohibited at the property. Any violation of this policy will result in a $1,000 fine to cover the costs of additional cleaning, damages, and disruption to neighbors.

🔸 Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. If our housekeeper detects evidence of smoking indoors, an additional cleaning fee of $1,000 will be charged to cover the necessary deep cleaning and odor removal.

🔸 Parking: The driveway can accommodate up to two cars. Street parking is subject to availability and must comply with HOA rules. Any violation of this policy will result in a $1,000 fine. The garage is off-limits.

🔸 Security: For your safety, the property is equipped with external security cameras. These do not monitor any private areas.

🔸 Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability. OUTDOOR LIVING:
Enjoy the huge 1000 sq. ft. elevated outdoor deck, outfitted with cafe lights strung from the railing, a large charcoal grill and plenty of seating. The setting is perfect for BBQs with views of the lawn, lake, and oaks with Spanish moss.

PRIVATE LAKE:
Fish from the banks of the privately-owned Crews Lake. A few fishing poles are provided for guests, but experienced fisherman may wish to bring their own poles and tackle.

GENERAL:
Central A/C and Heat, Free Wifi, Smart TVs with Rokus and local channels, blu ray DVDs, Washer/Dryer, laundry detergent, linens/towels, paper towels and toilet paper, complimentary toiletries, and a complimentary welcome basket which includes a few snacks and coffee to get your stay started.

We welcome children! However, parents will need to provide their own supplies for kids (i.e. high chairs, pack and plays, etc.) and safety equipment that they feel necessary (i.e. child-proof locks, safety gates, etc.). The cottage is however outfitted with a crib, bedding and changing table.

**Your safety matters. Exterior camera are placed near the front and back doors but do not look into any interior spaces or onto the deck.

**We highly recommend getting trip insurance to protect your investment.

Internet- because of our rural location we only have access to DSL WiFi, and maintain the fastest service available. The speed is usually 5-10 mbps but at times can drop below 3. In general you should have no problem with streaming services such as Netflix, working from the home, or Zoom meetings. The connection however can be inconsistent, and therefore at times frustrating. During those times it is best to have only one user online with no streaming tv. Also you may be able to use your cell phone as a hotspot to boost your speed.

We do not allow Door Dash, Shipt, Instacart, or other delivery services to access the property, so please do not give them any gate codes. You are however welcome to meet them at the main front entrance. This is because in the past they get confused, lost, and deliver to the wrong homes. We have had instances of spoiled groceries and in the worse case scenarios, broken gates. The gates cost upwards of $500 to repair. **Please know that you will be responsible and assessed for any gate damage by you or your party, or any visitors.

Paradise Palms was our own home and has been lovingly groomed into a tropical oasis in the middle of town. Three well appointed bedrooms, two bathrooms (all newly renovated) for you evening slumber. Each bedroom has a closet, dresser, 35" SmartTV's and wonderful mattresses.

The kitchen area has a monster island for gathering and cooking meals, and the kitchen is well equipped to for cooking (I used to be a chef!). The family and dining area is wide open and spacious allowing for the whole family to cook, eat and relax together.

The family room has a huge leather sectional sofa with three recliners. We have plenty of games and books to keep the family entertained or watch some tv on the 65" SmartTV. Frontier FIOS Wifi throughout with extenders, so everyone can stay connected (or I can shut it down if that is better, lol).

The real treat is the pool grotto! The backyard is a tropical oasis of beautiful plants and foliage that surround a black bottom swimming pool with wading area for kids, waterfalls and 5' is the deepest it gets. Six person patio table for meals or seating area with smartTV add to the pool vibe! Walk outside the screen door and you have a wonderful relaxing seating area complete with a firepit and Adirondack chairs to have that evening libation, enjoy a cigar or just watch the stars and sunsets. There is even a lovely wood swing to relax on as well.

All this and you are within walking distance to over a dozen restaurants and shopping galore. Downtown Lakeland is only three miles away and offers tons of events, entertainment venues, and more dining and shopping. Lakeside Village is one mile to the west with more shopping movie theaters and restaurants. Lakeland Linder Airport is a quick 10 minute drive.
