Very easy to communicate with the property manager." - "My son and I stayed at this lovely home for 4 nights. We absolutely loved the property! The house was well stocked and the Guest Viewer made it simple to find not only information about the property but local attractions. The fenced in backyard was a peaceful place to relax. There were a couple cats that came to visit but they didn’t seem to be bothered by us. The house had ample space for the two of us, plenty of TV’s and I especially liked the little office area. We did find one board game but it would have been nice if the house had a few more. My only complaint was the landscape company showed up early one morning to plant flowers/shrubs and put down new mulch. I would have preferred the work done before/after our stay but I know this isn’t always possible to schedule. The host was very accommodating and charged us a prorated rate instead of an additional day as our flight home was a later evening flight. This allowed us extra time in the Lakeland area. Overall, I highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay here again."

NO CLEANING FEE!

Great space in a great neighborhood. Located in the Lake Morton Historic District, and close to just about everything. The cottage is a studio (so the only privacy is in the bathroom), located directly behind our home, with a kitchenette and a nice size bathroom and shower. There is a traditional queen bed. There is a large, private patio behind the cottage. We live in the main home, and the cottage is a completely separate structure. While there are some common areas outside, we will afford you as much privacy as you desire.

Florida Southern College is two blocks away, and there are quite a few places to eat and drink within a short distance. Detroit Tigers Spring Training is 10 minutes away and Sun N Fun is around 20 minutes from this location.

Dixieland Delight is a cute 1920's bungalow that has been update with all the modern features while keeping all the historical features that make this home so special. It is located in Dixieland.
It is within walking distance to restaurants and shops as well as lakeland's beautiful lakes. Downtown Lakeland is only one mile away. The newly opened Bonnet Springs is only 1.5 miles and RP Funding center is only a mile away. 2 blocks away is Lake Hollingsworth that has a beautiful 3 mile walking/running path.

The space
The house is very cozy and has antiques mixed with new furniture. There are 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. The full bath is a Jack and Jill between the 2 bedrooms. There us an additional room off the King bedroom that has a daybed with a trundle.
The front porch is great and has a swing. In the back yard, there is a tiki hut with a couch and chairs. It has 1 large fan and a small fan
Cobb and Penn is just 3 doors down, and Walgreens is across the street. There are several other restaurants and bars within walking distance.

our kitchen has all that you could want and a Keurig coffeemaker with a milk frother. We include coffee as well.

The space
The cottage is nestled under a canopy of oak trees with outdoor seating to enjoy. The inside has a small Livingroom and full eat-in kitchen, bedroom and bath. It is a cozy place. We have window a/c units, ceiling fans and space heaters in addition to extra blankets.

Guest access
You have access to everything inside of the cottage. You are welcome to use the cleaning supplies in the utility room. The laundry closet is accessible from the outside of the cottage.

We have removed cleaning fees and will not ask for reimbursement if checkout procedures are followed.
If you are familiar with Florida, you know that this sub-tropical climate attracts pests. We regularly spray (and Ozone) for ants, water bugs, rodents and termites. This home is a century old, made of wood and draped in trees so we do our best to address unwanted roommates. If you see something, say something to us so we can address it immediately.

Our newly remodeled 1 bedroom, 1 bath Cottage is centrally located in Lakeland, right off of Lake Hollingsworth and convenient to Florida Southern College, Southeastern University and The Frank Lloyd Wright Museum. Our Guest Retreat is warm and relaxing, with a side, covered patio, adorned with string lights for cozy night gatherings with family and friends. It comes fully equipped with everything you will need to enjoy a relaxing stay!

Our full kitchen is fully stocked and ready for all your cooking needs. Full bathroom stocked with essentials in case you forget something. One Queen Bed, roll away cot and a comfy couch for sleeping (All linens provided). Two Smart TVs with Complementary FUBO streaming service, including local channels. The Cottage is equipped with a new Washer/Dryer, Iron and fabric steamer. Dreamy, covered side patio with dinette table and chairs and a slider/swing couch.

We also have a full Corn Hole set for your amusement. Finally, your curbside trash receptacle pickup is handled by your host.
