- "We loved the themed rooms! The plunge pool was a fan favorite among my toddlers and nice to have since the big pool was closed for a day or two due to a poop incident. The mini golf was a pleasant surprise. The location is very close to a Publix, and twistee treat ice cream which was the biggest hidden gem of our trip! 10/10 recommend the ice cream taco. Close to many restaurants and only 25 min from Disney if you don’t miss any turns like we did :)"

No control stick on vertical blinds which prevent to use properly the door to the pool ( unable to move the blinds ) Overall, 4 star is given as a wish of the owner rather. This is 3 star property, which in fact has one the worst location on entire estate. Good for the money, with some horrible issues."

And it states across the street from Universal, which it is close but not like walking distance. They did let us check in a little early without charging us extra. It is a house/duplex located in an older neighborhood. it was comfortable and had full size washer and dryer. No ceiling fans in the kids or smaller bedroom, had stand up fans but one was too noisy to use. bit warm in the evening but I like having a celing fan blowing while I'm sleeping."

The water park in the residential area was awesome!! My kids loved it! Even my teenage lol The only other problem I had was parking! If you stay out late chances are you will not be able to park in front of your place and may have to park around the corner and walk to you place. - "We arrived with our family of 5 to this cottage with the expectation of having a relaxing family vacation by the pools at Margaritaville Resort. Upon arrival there was 1 roll of toilet paper for the entire cottage that has 3 bathrooms. No other paper products, garbage bags, hand soap or dish soap available. Also there were no dish cloths or tea towels. Upon arriving at the pool we were turned away and told that because we have a Code Access rather than a card to our cottage that means NO POOL USE. Manager was NO help, our children were devastated. We even offered to pay a day access fee and were turned down. The owner replied with “can you screenshot where it says pool access”. You would think all people staying at this resort could use the pool. Paper products were delivered on the third day after we had already had to go buy paper items and garbage bags as we couldn’t go days without. The back patio only had two small chairs and a side table unlike the pictures showing a full dining area. In my opinion there is some misleading advertising here. Although the cottage was clean and spacious, we feel disappointed and were forced to go spend more money that we had not planned on due to not having a pool. We will not be staying at Margaritaville Resort again in the future."

We also couldn't use the attractions, swimming pool, parks of the place because the check in of the house was different from that of the surroundings and there was a discrepancy on the day we arrived at the house to use the surroundings, they wanted to call the police and it was the owner of the home's mistake. for not having us visit to use the surroundings, nor did they guide us on that. We were always humble at all times and everything was a threat, you cannot take a visitor to the house with another vehicle either, because the guards also want to call you without them entering. It was a totally limited vacation in my own space that I paid for. Dead cockroaches came out of the house every now and then. Really the only good thing is the space you have in the house, but it is not for going out if you lack knowledge because you will only have bad times and scares."

There is an additional 45 charge to heat the pool. To further clarify this fee it is $35 per accommodation. (Not $35 per amenity and not $35 per person.) This fee is not negotiable. You can invite 2 additional guests who are not staying with you for 10 dollars a day per person. Sorry, we cannot host parties to respect the privacy of our other guests. The amenities are open from 7 am to 10 p.m. The pool and pub from 9 a.m. to 10 pm. The fee can be collected when you arrive if you decide to purchase access to the amenities. Your cottage is a separate building, but there is another buildings on the property behind it that contains 2 units that sometimes share the amenities. The property is pet friendly for one small dog, no cats. Baggage/luggage storage is available for early check in. Lessee must be present throughout the duration of lease. The property is non smoking(including vaping and e-cigarettes). Please park so that two other cars can park next to you. If you have more than one car please park it across the street and not behind your first car. There is an additional 35 dollar a day to use the pool/spa, pub/game room, and gym per accommodation. Please no parties. No exceptions. Please no grilling on the pool deck. To pull down the blinds, hold at the top and gently pull down on the bottom. Accommodation interiors/decoration subject to change at the discretion of the property owners. OCCUPANCY: The Contracting Guest listed on the reservation must be at least 21 years old, occupy the rental property for the entire length of stay and comply with the occupancy terms herein.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: Two (2) per bedroom + Two (2) additional guests

PAYMENT AND CHECK IN: Deposits will be collected based on your confirmation details. The Contracting Guest must present a valid government issued photo ID and matching credit card upon check-in. If this credit card does not match the advanced deposit, then the full stay will be authorized on the new card. If credit card holder will not be onsite, then a completed credit card authorization form must be received and completed in full prior to guest arrival by the card holder. Please note that the credit card provided will be pre-authorized for $300 to cover incidental charges including any purchases charged to the account while at the resort. Check-in time is 4 p. m. and check-out time is 11 a. m.; additional charges may apply for early arrival or late departure.


PARKING: Self-parking is included with Resort Fee. Valet is an additional $35 plus tax per night. Guests and visitors are only permitted to park in the two parking spaces in front of the Cottage as per the community bylaws. Parking along the side of the street or on the pavement or sidewalk is strictly prohibited. Recreational and commercial vehicles, trailers, boats, etc. may park in the gravel parking lot at Island H2O Water Park; they cannot park in the spaces located in front of the Cottages. Community security officers will accompany the guest to this lot so that they may park accordingly without blocking areas of employee and guest parking for the water park. A guest information form will need to be completed so that security can contact the guest in case vehicle relocation is needed during their stay. Vehicles with branding, signage, and wraps are not permitted in front of the Cottages; these vehicles may park in the self-parking lot near the front of the resort.


KEYS AND LOCKS: The Management Company will provide keycards to guests which will expire upon departure in accordance with the checkout procedure


SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited in the Homes. There is a $250 smoking fee.


PETS: Margaritaville Resort Orlando welcomes well-mannered dogs 30 lbs. or less. Guests bringing dogs will be charged $40 per night per dog for the Cottages. A maximum of two dogs per Cottage is permitted. Accommodation type and location restrictions may apply. Dogs must be on a leash when outside the Cottage. Dogs should not be left in a Cottage unattended. Guests will be responsible for any property damage inadvertently caused by their dogs. Certified service dogs are welcome at the property and are not subject to the policies and restrictions described above.

Guest access
You have access to the entire Margaritaville Resort Orlando experience. The resort fee covers transportation to the theme parks and access to resort facilities and amenities.

Other things to note
While towels and linens are provided in each home, additional towels and linens are available for a surcharge.
