The number one highlight of staying at this house is the location next to the beach. The Andy Romano Beach Park is across the street from the home and offers recreational facilities, gazebos, picnics, a playground, snack bar, splash park, and plenty of parking.

If you want to change up your day-to-day, drive 9 minutes to reach the Daytona Boardwalk Amusements or rent bikes to ride down there. The pier has beachfront amusement rides, games, and plenty of other entertaining spots! Be sure to visit the farmer's market for their outstanding local produce.

On cloudy days, drive 33 minutes to the Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse & Museum. This historic lighthouse is always a hit with kids and has been around since the 1880's. Some other options for rainy days include the Marine Science Center, Living Legends of Auto Racing Museum, or the Daytona Arcade Museum.

Some other fun ideas for your stay around Dayton include visiting the Rockefeller Gardens, golfing at one of the pristine local courses (Riviera Country Club and Oceanside Country Club are the best), or fishing in the ocean! Kids love making the day trip to Orlando to visit either Legoland, Disney World, or Universal Studios!

On the nights that you don't feel like cooking, the property is also very close to some of the best local restaurants in the area. There is also plenty of great shopping close to the house for souvenirs or gifts.

- "We loved staying at the Bungalow! It is so close to the ocean! It was clean and welcoming! The beds are very comfortable and they are very responsive if needed! The kitchen is a bit small with no oven, but a good range for cooking and a full-size refrigerator. There is a microwave and a good toaster oven (we did not use but is there). This was very nice as many places I have stayed had a half size fridge. There are many great places to eat in the area, including a Dunkin Donuts right across the street. I do recommend Riptides for a great meal at very good prices. The beds were comfortable, and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. The beach was sparsely populated, even on the weekends it was not very crowded. Although we did not watch much TV, there is a nice Visio 50" (?) that I was able to cast my Fire Tablet to, so there was no need to login in to all my apps just to watch anything. We really enjoyed our stay here and will come back again sometime."

This property is a separate unit from a main house with its own large yard featuring Hibiscus, palms, Giant Birds of Paradise and many other tropical delights.

When you walk out of the driveway, there is an undeveloped (no hotels) beach just yards away. Feel free to use the beach wagon, folding chairs and beach towels during your visit.

**Important to note- this little cottage has a small efficiency washing machine and no dryer. There is a retractable clothes line for drying your clothes though.

The very large master suite has a king size bed, a 50" smart Roku TV, master bath has vanity with 2 sinks, large closet and a fireplace. The door in back leads out to the large back yard, covered patio and dining table. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, 32" smart Roku TV, and a half bath. It has french doors that lead out to the back yard and patio also. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is a new full bath (tub/shower) at the end of the hall. The beautiful large living area has a 55" smart Roku TV and a new sectional couch that is very comfortable! The dining area has seating for 4 and 2 bar stools at the granite countertop in the kitchen area. The kitchen area is small but very well equipped. The washer and dryer are in the garage and the garage has plenty of room for storage if needed. There are 2 bicycles in the garage if you decide to ride around the nice quiet neighborhood! Well behaved pets are welcomed, but please clean up after your pet. There is a $150 pet non refundable fee. This home has everything needed for a nice peaceful vacation on the beach side. We are close to grocery stores (Publix), churches, shopping, and a lot of nice restaurants. We are located on a non busy street between the river and the ocean. There is private parking for Riverbreeze people at the condo right across the street (A1A) from us on the ocean.
This home is only available to be rented by the month (or months) I am not able to rent it by the week, This is an Ormond By The Sea restriction, not mine!

This private fully fenced house is located in a quiet neighborhood that explodes with visitors during Daytona bike week with multiple concerts 🌱

The Space:
Tropical oasis nestled in the Daytona/ Ormond beach area directly on the canal that connects with Tomoka River and Intracoastal. Excellent for kayaking and fishing. We currently have 3 single kayaks and 1 tandem kayak available for rent. We supply the life jackets, the paddles and invested in a super easy kayak launch from the floating dock located at the property. This devise is called KayasArm and detailed information about it can be found on YouTube. Cute beach house style decor with tropical wallpaper throughout. Bar top area and soft chairs in the living room with high speed internet was designed as a work friendly space. Remodeled bathrooms are decorated with beach theme artwork and include white towels and toiletries such as soap, shampoo and conditioner. Guest bathroom includes a tub and master bathroom includes a newly remodeled shower.

Master bedroom includes a queen size bed and a huge closet as well as hand painted dresser and night stands and a separate seating/ reading area and overlooks lush tropical landscape.

Another large closet is located in the hallway. Second bedroom, includes two velvet tufted single beds and more tropical decor and another huge closet.

Laundry room includes a full size washer and dryer available for guests’ use.

There is a picturesque seating area directly by the water with cushions stored at the cute little boat house. Seating area includes heavy chairs and a small glass table to enjoy your morning coffee provided by the host. On the right, you’ll find a boat lift. You are welcome to bring your boat, your jet ski or kayak and park it along the dock directly at the property.

There is an additional floating dock with KayaArm system to make it super easy to launch kayaks from the floating dock. I highly recommend kayaking if not directly through us then at the Tomoka Outpost park located minutes from the house. Please see my guidebook for more information about the park and its exact location. We have seen dolphins, manatees and a myriad of different species of birds when kayaking and boating and enjoy collecting shells and driftwood. This is a relaxing, peaceful cottage. Located a short 5 minute walk from Ormond Beach for ocean fun and a few minutes to the Halifax River for kayaking, fishing, and canoeing. It has 2 cozy bedrooms that feature queen beds and will sleep 4 comfortably. It has a full kitchen, full size refrigerator and electric range. Dine in the beautiful Florida room or relax in the spacious living area. There is an entertainment center and a 55 inch Smart TV. It features a dedicated workspace with 300 mbps wifi and a printer for those working remotely.

I was happy to see that everything I needed in the kitchen was available, as Im a chef, I like to cook alot. Everything we needed, besides the trip to Disney was within a 15 minute drive. The residence is in a small town, right outside Daytona, with lots of places to go. Diane was very quick to answer any conveebs questions. I ended up with the flu, I was happy to be in there in the peaceful surroundings, anywhere else I probably would have ruined my trip and I would have left early. Would recommend staying to friends and family, and would definitely go back. The only complaint I could make was the toilet ran unless you stood there and messed with the handle, and maybe could use a deadbolt on the garage entrance, but that's having to look for something to complain about. Really, everything was wonderful, and I felt was priced accordingly. Was a pleasure to stay in your rental."

Charcoal grill in back yard. There are no stairs to get in the home but once inside, there is one step up. There’s a separate guest studio on property which may or may not be occupied by owner. You might find me out back on the patio having coffee or happy hour in the evening! Our resident lizard, Iggy, might just show up too! 🦎

Child under 18 must be accompanied by an adult in Swim Spa. Be aware there may be hot tub maintenance person in the backyard working to keep it sparkling clean and lawn maintenance on site as well.

Starfish Cottage can make your beach vacation dream come true. At one end of our friendly street is the Atlantic Ocean, with direct beach access & parking; at the other end, the Halifax River! Our 2 BR, 1 BA charming cottage has everything your family/group of 4-5 will need. Drive to the beach in 1 minute, or walk in 7 minutes! Bikers welcome. Pets accepted for a fee. A dog-friendly beach is a short drive away, and a large dog park is less than a mile from Starfish Cottage.

The space
Starfish Cottage is a small retreat full of peace and beauty. You will stay comfortable with a new ac/heat pump, 4 ceiling fans, LaZBoy furniture including a reclining sofa. Light pours in from the many windows, and new lighting was added in the kitchen, making the whole home cheerful and airy. You’ll immediately notice the gorgeous flooring, as well as coastal-inspired decor throughout.
Starfish Cottage boasts a Bosch dishwasher, new refrigerator, and top of the line washer and dryer for your use in the laundry room off the carport. There is direct access to the fenced backyard from the primary bedroom using the beautiful French doors. This bedroom has a 4-poster queen-sized bed, the 2nd bedroom has 2 Pottery Barn twin beds. If you need it, you are welcome to also use the twin sized air mattress which is stored in the bedroom closet.
There is an outdoor shower for a quick rinse when you return from a day on your beach! The back yard is private and fenced and has an umbrella table with chairs and a grill. You can walk to Alfie’s in the mornings for breakfast before using our beach chairs, beach towels, bike and body boards. There are sand toys for the little ones. On rainy days we have games, cards, wi-fi, movies.

100 yds away is a new fishing dock and kayak launch.

Starfish Cottage allows a well-behaved pet for a fee, but we do require that you keep your pet off of the beds and furniture, please. When you are away and your pet is staying home, please keep your dog in a crate or kennel.

We have 2 smart TV’s, one in the living area and one in the primary bedroom, but we do not offer cable. The Sling app is availablefor your use and provides many channels also. We have a selection of DVD movies or you can bring some of your own. We also have wi-fi for your enjoyment.

Relax at this unique tropical canal front house with direct Tomoka River access. Accessible by boat or car with waterway that connects to the Intracoastal. Bring your boat, jet-ski or kayak and dock it at the property. The house is located 10 minutes from Ormond beach and 20 minutes from Daytona Beach. Public boat ramp is within walking distance. This private fully fenced house is located in a quiet neighborhood that explodes with visitors during Daytona bike week with multiple concerts 🌱

The space
Tropical oasis nestled in the Daytona/ Ormond beach area directly on the canal that connects with Tomoka River and Intracoastal. Excellent for kayaking and fishing. We currently have 3 single kayaks and 1 tandem kayak available for rent. We supply the life jackets, the paddles and invested in a super easy kayak launch from the floating dock located at the property. This devise is called KayasArm and detailed information about it can be found on YouTube. Cute beach house style decor with tropical wallpaper throughout. Bar top area and soft chairs in the living room with high speed internet was designed as a work friendly space. Remodeled bathrooms are decorated with beach theme artwork and include white towels and toiletries such as soap, shampoo and conditioner. Guest bathroom includes a tub and master bathroom includes a newly remodeled shower.

Master bedroom includes a queen size bed and a huge closet as well as hand painted dresser and night stands and a separate seating/ reading area and overlooks lush tropical landscape.

Another large closet is located in the hallway. Second bedroom, includes two velvet tufted single beds and more tropical decor and another huge closet.

Laundry room includes a full size washer and dryer available for guests’ use.

There is a picturesque seating area directly by the water with cushions stored at the cute little boat house. Seating area includes heavy chairs and a small glass table to enjoy your morning coffee provided by the host. On the right, you’ll find a boat lift. You are welcome to bring your boat, your jet ski or kayak and park it along the dock directly at the property.

There is an additional floating dock with KayaArm system to make it super easy to launch kayaks from the floating dock. I highly recommend kayaking if not directly through us then at the Tomoka Outpost park located minutes from the house. Please see my guidebook for more information about the park and its exact location. We have seen dolphins, manatees and a myriad of different species of birds when kayaking and boating and enjoy collecting shells and driftwood. Watch the sunrise in the east and the sky being painted as it sets in the west from your open second story deck. A private community of cottages. The space
Our property has been in our family since 1954. Expect a Florida home with the Hemingway charm. Old Florida charm at its best By The Sea. As you step through the front door you will be welcomed by a sense of peacefulness that will envelope your entire soul and this is just the beginning of your stay at King Neptunes Delight. The Florida room gives way to an ocean view where you can sit at the bistro table and enjoy your morning cup of coffee, tea or wine. The living room contains a wall mounted tv with streaming and local channels available should a NASA launch be scheduled during your stay. This live coverage allows you time to walk to the ocean to view the launches. Do not miss the magnificently brilliant night time launches. A unbelievably comfortable sleeper couch is available in this room and the mattress cover, sheets pillows and blankets are located in the master bedroom closet. The two bedrooms host a queen and two single beds with additional linens available in the hall closet. The bathroom has a tub and shower but please be sure to hose off all sand from your body and bathing suits in the outside shower located in the back yard. The outdoor shower has both hot and cold running water. We are on Septic tanks and the sand will clog the drains and cause a big expense. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need along with dishwasher. Please do not put grease or food etc down the drain. The porch is my favorite place to sleep, relax, unwind. Cuddle up with a blanket and a good book and let the sound of the ocean waves lul you to sleep. The upstairs patio will provide you with amazing sunrise and sunsets along with a great breeze from the ocean. Lunch or dinner can also be enjoyed from above. The garage has full size wash and dryer with beach chairs boggy boards surfboards and sand toys.(Surfboards and boggy boards are used at your own risk) we cannot be held liable.

The entire cottage is at your disposal for your stay. The Ocean is accessible just steps from the cottage by a private path to the Beach. There is adequate parking directly adjacent to the front door along the 3 foot white wall. Three large cars can be accommodated or bike trailer. Enjoy the upstairs and downstairs porches along with the free salt and sand.🧜🏻‍♂️

The cottage has been designed to encourage a sense of calmness and zen. With 12 foot ceilings throughout, There are two bedrooms and one bath. The front bedroom, hosts a king size incredibly comfortable bed and walk in closet. It also has direct access to your outdoor patio. Fall asleep and wake up listening to the waves of the ocean and watching the sunrise over the beautiful ocean. The second bedroom, slightly smaller, hosts two comfy twin beds, dresser and closet. If needed the beds can be pushed together to make a king size bed. There is always lots of extra bedding available for all the beds, in the master bedroom closet, in a white built in storage unit. The resigned bathroom, is appointed classically and beautifully, with a huge, curb-less shower and Incredible rain head shower head.
With additional hand held shower head, marble topped vanity, and extra fluffy towels, you’ll have all you need. The open space of the rest of the home has a very cozy, zen, beach vibe. The kitchen is new, with all the amenities. All you’ll need for a home cooked meal is at your fingertips. There’s also a 12 cup “drip” coffee maker, blender, toaster, etc. Pots, pans, dishes, children’s dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, etc. (There is also a grocery store across the street for convenience). The living room has a very comfy “fall back, sink into” couch as well as two velvet arm chairs. Lots of throw pillows and throw blankets. The flatscreen tv has Netflix, Amazon, Disney Plus, etc. (all streaming services are ALREADY logged in, PLEASE do not log out. Just go to the “Cottage’s/Airbnb users avatar” for each service and begin your streaming) There is also high end full size washer and dryer in the home.
As beautiful as the home is, the real gem is obviously the outdoor spaces. There are two outdoor showers, one “open air” shower at the very beginning of the walkway (next to the patio) and a fully enclosed “hot water shower.”, so all the beach sand will stay outside. (Please, please make sure to rinse off the sand and bathing suites prior to going into the home, it is so greatly appreciated!! )

With three patios, a private short wooden walkway off your private patio to the beach, two outdoor dining options (upstairs or covered downstairs patio), 2 sectionals ( one on upper patio, one on lower covered patio) for relaxing, visiting, reading or just “starring into the ocean”, it is everything and more than you can image. About 2/3rd down the walkway, there’s another shorter walkway, which will bring you to a small intimate patio, with two lounge chairs. So many options-all with one purpose in mind. The peace and quiet that we all deserve. The time away from our crazy schedules to relax, reflect and be mindful “in the moment.” You will absolutely depart this vacation more in tune with your mind, body and soul.

The entire home is yours to renew, relax, have fun and make life long memories!! Private access to the beach directly off your patios to a private Beach There are also all beach amenities available. There are beach chairs, toys, “the ladder ball game”, towels, a hammock, lounge chairs, three fully furnished outdoor patios, charcoal bbq and bbq utensils, 2 outdoor showers, etc. and that just the outside!! Inside is ultra comfy, cozy, airy and relaxing, with unobstructed views of the ocean, which is literally steps away!! Words do not do it justice.

Our home , the Cottage on the Sea, sits DIRECTLY on the beach, with your private walkway off your private patio. Very peaceful “private” beach. Not very many beach guests , if any.
Please remember this cottage is directly on the beach , which means that sand will blow up onto the patios (not much, but a tiny bit). Please do not be alarmed if the cushions have sand on them. It’s inevitable this close to the beach!!! Thanks!!
