Being just across the street from beach access #10 makes it so convenient for swimming, sunbathing, and all kinds of fun beach activities. Whether it's lounging in the sun or taking a peaceful walk along the shore, this location is ideal for anyone who loves being close to the ocean.

Along with the easy beach access you get a stunning sunrise view. You can see the water from the master bedroom and the large, gated deck from the living room. The deck has 2 Adirondack-style chairs and a patio set perfect for both lounging and dining outdoors. If you need to rinse off after the beach, the private outdoor shower is an unexpected convenience.

If you would like to bring your pet please contact us so we can get information and approve your pet. We have pet bowls, pet towels, and a large kennel available for your use. There is a daily fee of $20 per pet. Also, we require your pet(s) to be on flea preventative and up to date on vaccinations.

Close by is public access to the Atlantic Recreation Center with a swimming pool, splash park, fitness center, and a wonderful kids playground. There is also a movie theater 15 minutes away. If you're looking for restaurants, live music, or other entertainment, downtown Fernandina is a short 2 1/2 mile drive from the cottage.

We've equipped the cottage with lots of beach essentials including coolers, beach chairs, body boards, and more.

Inside, you'll find a lot to love. The cottage was recently remodeled, and everything is extremely new and clean. The kitchen has beautiful granite counter tops, all new stainless steel appliances, a large pantry, and everything you need to prepare fabulous meals in the comfort of your very own beach cottage. The living area is equally inviting and includes a 42-inch flat screen TV, and a Blu-Ray/DVD player. You'll also find a washer and dryer in the pantry.

Linens are provided, including sheets, bath towels, kitchen towels, beach towels, and dog drying towels.

In the master bedroom, you will find the decor to have a playful yet sophisticated feel. It includes a very comfortable king size bed, a flat screen TV, and an in-suite bathroom with a combined shower and tub. The guest bedroom has one twin and one double bed, and a flat screen TV. It's the perfect place for your kids or guests. The second bathroom also has a combined shower and tub and is centrally located off the main hallway. The cottage includes free Wi-Fi and cable TV.

- "Now that we are settled back into our routine, I just wanted to write and tell you how much we enjoyed your place and Fernandino Beach. Went down to the beach and watched the sunrise each morning over the ocean and then walked practically around the corner and up the street to Eagen's Greenway for some great birding! Saw a painted bunting each day though he stayed too far away to get a really great photo as well as an alligator, some bunnies and turtles! Cardinals were everywhere. Saw two Carolina Chickadees right off your front porch and many shore birds at the beach too. We drove down to the bridge and saw the Spoonbills. We ate at Arte's Pizza and twice at the Salty Pelican where we had great seats for the sunset. I sure hope we can get to Fernandino Beach again and stay at your place. It was so comfortable and convenient! Perfect weather and can't beat the combination of beach and birds! Thank you! "

This duplex is as close on the beach as you can get! Right on the beach! From the living room window, you can watch the dolphins swim by. It is charmingly decorated and comfortable. THIS LISTING IS FOR ONE SIDE OF THE DUPLEX ONLY. EACH SIDE HAS TWO BEDROOMS AND ONE BATH. Oceanfront bed has a Queen bed in it and a single bed. The other bedroom has a full bed and single. 2 BEDROOMS 1 BATH SLEEPS 5 This duplex is as close as you can get to the beach. Right on Fernandina. From the living room window, you can watch the dolphins swim by! It is charmingly decorated and has been a popular rental. THIS LISTING IS FOR ONE SIDE OF THE DUPLEX ONLY. Both can be rented simultaneously. THE UNITS ARE SIDE BY SIDE. EACH SIDE HAS TWO BEDROOMS AND ONE BATH.2 Smart TVs one in the oceanside bedroom and the other in the main living area. Please bring your Fire stick or ruku. Oceanside bedroom has a Queen bed and a single. The other bedroom is a full bed and a single bed. The other half of the property is carried under VRBO or Home Away Number 7364113 and you can see that this property has gotten 5-star ratings for years TOO! If you want to rent both sides please check the other sides for a total of 4 bedrooms 2 baths. Great sunrises each day and the best location for surfcasting. Just a quick beach walk north to The Sandbar Restaurant - for great burgers and cold drinks! If you choose we welcome you to bring a magnet from your town or state for the refrigerator- I think it will be fun to see where we all visit from. The kitchen is equipped with coffee, filters, coffee pot, and necessities for preparing home cooked meals. Towels, beach chairs, and umbrella are provided for those long beach days! - "My husband and I stayed in this home for a long weekend getaway. The location was quiet and peaceful and really convenient to the historic downtown area. There was excellent shopping & dining downtown! We took our e bikes and could quickly and easily get downtown and not have to worry about parking. The home was well equipped and comfortable. The manager checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was okay; we didn't have any issues. It was just two of us, but there is room for more, for sure. It was a very relaxing weekend for us!"
