The twin bed room was perfect for my 7 & 10 year old to share. My husband was unexpectedly on crutches and in a boot but he was able to navigate well. The host was very helpful pointing out some accessibility options for the beach in advance. We rented a golf cart and it made it super easy to park and explore! I would stay here again!"

Greene Cottage is a vintage island cottage located within walking distance of Tybee town center with quaint shops, restaurants, entertainment, a great beach, and the back river for fishing and kayaking enthusiast. Greene Cottage is 720 square feet of pure coastal romantic living : Two Queen bedrooms, two full bathrooms, high chair and portacrib ,cozy living space with 2 flatscreen TV, WIFI, fully equipped kitchen, private attached outdoor shower with access through bathroom, back sitting deck,and screen porch with out door dining, grill provided, firepit and parking for 3 autos on white rock driveway. - "My family loved the Greene Cottage. First, the location is perfect. We liked the easy access to the beach, but also the quietness of Jones Ave. We have lived in Savannah for 20 years, and come to Tybee often in the summer time. This house was refreshing compared to some of the condos we have rented in years past. The parking for two cars was nice. The cottage itself was very well equipped, and very clean. The decorations were also very cool both inside and on the screened in porch. The beds were comfortable, and we also loved the master bath. The kids loved the outside shower. The only negative was on the day of arrival. I arrived before the rest of my family. They had dental appointments in town prior to heading out to Tybee. I had taken the day off and just wanted to go sit on the beach. I decided to drop off our bikes at the house, and then ride over to the beach. This was at about 1:30 pm. A housekeeper was still at the house, so I decided to let him know that I was the incoming renter so he would not wonder who had parked at the house. He was very nice, and stated he was just about done. I then went back outside to unload the bikes. The housekeeper then left. About 5 minutes or so later, some lady (I am assuming she was a supervisor) stopped at the house to remind me that check in was not until 4 pm (even though the email I received the night before said that the house would be available once the house had been cleaned). Anyway, the moral of the story here is this lady just wanted to be rude, and "let me know" which really did not have to happen. While I love Tybee and will continue to come back, new comers should be warned that the local island residents and those that work on Tybee have an attitude about those not "from Tybee". It is kinda of laughable considering people like me and the thousands that come to Tybee annually make Tybee what it is. Without the parking ticket, rental, and local spend revenue, Tybee would not exist. Highly recommend this cottage!!!"
