The host was very helpful pointing out some accessibility options for the beach in advance. We rented a golf cart and it made it super easy to park and explore! I would stay here again!"

Greene Cottage is a vintage island cottage located within walking distance of Tybee town center with quaint shops, restaurants, entertainment, a great beach, and the back river for fishing and kayaking enthusiast. Greene Cottage is 720 square feet of pure coastal romantic living : Two Queen bedrooms, two full bathrooms, high chair and portacrib ,cozy living space with 2 flatscreen TV, WIFI, fully equipped kitchen, private attached outdoor shower with access through bathroom, back sitting deck,and screen porch with out door dining, grill provided, firepit and parking for 3 autos on white rock driveway. - "My family loved the Greene Cottage. First, the location is perfect. We liked the easy access to the beach, but also the quietness of Jones Ave. We have lived in Savannah for 20 years, and come to Tybee often in the summer time. This house was refreshing compared to some of the condos we have rented in years past. The parking for two cars was nice. The cottage itself was very well equipped, and very clean. The decorations were also very cool both inside and on the screened in porch. The beds were comfortable, and we also loved the master bath. The kids loved the outside shower. The only negative was on the day of arrival. I arrived before the rest of my family. They had dental appointments in town prior to heading out to Tybee. I had taken the day off and just wanted to go sit on the beach. I decided to drop off our bikes at the house, and then ride over to the beach. This was at about 1:30 pm. A housekeeper was still at the house, so I decided to let him know that I was the incoming renter so he would not wonder who had parked at the house. He was very nice, and stated he was just about done. I then went back outside to unload the bikes. The housekeeper then left. About 5 minutes or so later, some lady (I am assuming she was a supervisor) stopped at the house to remind me that check in was not until 4 pm (even though the email I received the night before said that the house would be available once the house had been cleaned). Anyway, the moral of the story here is this lady just wanted to be rude, and "let me know" which really did not have to happen. While I love Tybee and will continue to come back, new comers should be warned that the local island residents and those that work on Tybee have an attitude about those not "from Tybee". It is kinda of laughable considering people like me and the thousands that come to Tybee annually make Tybee what it is. Without the parking ticket, rental, and local spend revenue, Tybee would not exist. Highly recommend this cottage!!!"

The Summer House on the Island of Tybee is located in a quiet friendly neighborhood, within walking distance to almost everything on the island. The house is a circa 1925 home that has been lovingly restored to keep up with the times, but retains 'The Summer House' charm. The caretaker lives on the property in the lower level. There are three porches, a porch swing, an outdoor shower, a small yard and gardens to enjoy.
Bicycles and pedestrians walk on the street, the market is a few doors away, the beach which is 1 1/2 blocks away is the most favored on the island. There are cabs to take you most anywhere else on the island.
The house is bright and airy. It has 2 bedrooms. No. 1 has a queen bed. No. 2 has two bunk beds all twin sized and sleeps 4.
There is one bath that has a tub/shower, there is an outdoor shower under the back stairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the conveniences of your own home, there is even a drawer full of spices for your use.
Amenities include, TV, internet, an assortment of toys and games for beach and home. The home is centrally cooled with ceiling fans in each room, with the exception of the bunk room which has a portable fan.
The is a wagon to take to the beach and a wheeled cart as well. There are toys for the beach, chairs, and an umbrella, for your enjoyment.
I live in the house as well, in the first level. We share the driveway, laundry room and back patio. I am excited to have visitors -if I don't hear you, I don't think you are having fun!

Ms. Opal's Cottage is an adorable two bedroom, two full bath vintage Tybee bead board cottage. It is located on the south end of the island near the back river and only a couple of blocks walk to the beach, pier, restaurants, and shops. Both bedrooms have a queen bed and each bedroom has a flat screen TV. One bathroom has a clawfoot tub/shower combo; 2nd bathroom has a walk-in shower (no tub). Kitchen has been beautifully updated with stainless steel appliances. The backyard features beautiful landscaping and an 11' X 23' backyard seasonal heated salt water pool, outdoor lounging furniture and pool house; what a treat for Ms. Opal's guests; your very own private pool! One of the most breathtaking parts of the Little Beach Cottage is the outdoor areas. There's a mixture of enclosed and open spaces for your enjoyment. Beneath the property is a carport patio. Air comes through the wall slats with ceiling fans above for a comfortable breeze. If any rain threatens the outdoor fun, you have this area to relax in. It comes complete with chairs, a picnic table and a dry bar. Bring your own libations for this hidden retreat.

Just outside of the carport is a side area with patio furniture and a picnic table. It's open to the exterior with a covered section. Relax with loved ones as the small garden nearby gives you a focal point.

Walk up to the second floor for even more outdoor seating. Both the front and back porches are screened in. You'll find rocking chairs, patio furniture and tables in both areas. Getting to Know Tybee Island

The island comes alive at night too. This area is known for its restaurants and bars. You might splurge on a seafood dinner one night, whereas the bars are your indulgence another night. Your Tybee Island vacation homes are always nearby when you're ready to turn in for the evening.

The property comes with parking for three vehicles. Street parking isn't a concern. With this fact in mind, take a road trip one day to see other parts of the island, including the Tybee Island Lighthouse and Museum. The marine center is also nearby, which gives you another excursion as a highlight on your vacation.

Some vacationers take a longer road trip over to Savannah, GA. It's about 20 miles away from the coast. Enjoy even more Southern hospitality in this big city. - "The pink condo was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have extra linens, towels and fans for both rooms. They had amenities for the kitchen and bathrooms. Check in was easy, plenty of parking at the condo also It was nice to have a washer and dryer and dishwasher to use. In the evening we took advantage of the 15 min walk to the beach and enjoyed the ocean by ourselves. There was also some shops and a few restaurants just a few blocks away. I would take a sound machine if you are a light sleeper, not the host fault at all but there’s a lot of sirens during the night that could wake you up if you are sensitive to noise. We would definitely stay here again!"

- "Would stay here again" - "We loved this little place! It was just my husband and me, but it does sleep 4. It would be a little too cozy if you were forced to spend a lot of time i side with 4. Kitchen has everything we needed, except for a paring knife, which was missing from the knife block. I think the shower head is a water saver, but I would have liked a little more water from it. Make sure you have hand soap, as it isn't provided. Bed is quite comfortable, but felt a bit tilted. Loved the little storage shelf in the bathroom. It was a bit of a walk to the beach. The little backyard was nice...bring charcoal if you don't want to pay the high prices at the local stores."

You can see the ocean from the patio but there is a large sand dune that partially obstructs the view, however this takes nothing away from the patio. The property is within easy walking distance from shopping and dining. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend staying here!"

The home is located on a bike route, so is ideal for biking or walking. The home has a basic kitchen, with amenities including microwave and coffee maker, stove, refrigerator. No dishwasher. Two bedrooms, one with queen bed. And one with two twin beds. Bedroom with twin beds has small but ample closet. Main bedroom has garment rack area and space for luggage. Large dining counter that seats three. And table and chairs for two. Ample living room with Wi-Fi and TV with streaming available. Screen porch is all original, with original features! Perfect for cool nights to be enjoyed! No backyard access at the cottage because is occupied by back resident.

Allow us to help you step back in time when you enter this spacious Historic Tybee-raised cottage that was originally built in 1910. Transformed into The Georgianne Inn during 1921, the home has undergone many changes but has never lost the sense of nostalgia it evokes. Situated just 3 houses back from the beach, this estate will give you a sense of how things used to be on Tybee Island. Even though The Georgianne Inn is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, it is close to downtown Tybee and the stunning Pier and Pavilion. No need to drive for great dining, it’s just a quick walk to a wide variety of restaurants, attractions, and nightlife.

The DeSoto Beach Vacation Properties family purchased The Georgianne Inn in May of 2017. In tradition, they have been working hard to upgrade the overall quality of their guests’ experiences. Yet, only 4 blocks to the beach & back river for incredible sunsets and 8 blocks to the downtown district and peir.
This is a house split in half, so locked doors between you but noise consideration is appreciated!

The space
I love artwork, cooking, flowers and relaxing in comfort! Which you will experience in my personal home! Enjoy the front porch or private tropical side yard. It is only available when I go on vacations and sparkly clean. New King mattress, new kitchen with a gas stove, new comfy couch, big TV and great porch! Bring bike or rent from Fat Tires, they deliver and bike path is a 1/2 block from my house. Toxic Free cleaning products, whole house water filtration system.

Guest access
Front porch, kitchen, living room, private side patio with umbrella, private bathroom and bedroom all for your use ONLY. You have main portion house but there is an airbnb attached. The outdoor shower is shared and a MUST! I have everything you need to cook amazing meals! Spices and condiments to use as you like! There is an Airbnb attached to the back of this house, completely closed off.
There is also a sound machine/ air purifier in your kitchen to reduce noise between the 2 units. I only allow 2 guest, so it is usually very quiet. You also have 2 AC towers and a fan for a little extra noise/ cooling in the bedroom. There is your bathroom/ hall between your bedroom and other units bedroom, so very quiet at night.

This beach cottage is great for a small family or a group of friends. Sleeps up to 6 in 2 big bedrooms, each with a comfortable king bed. There is a full-size sofa bed in the living room.

The space
KITCHEN: Fully stocked with cookware, utensils and everything you need to prepare the perfect beach meal.

LAUNDRY: Full-sized Washer and dryer.

BEACH: Located about two blocks around the Lighthouse to the beach. Just a short stroll.

LAYOUT: 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and full bath.

Amenities:
Located at the quieter end of the island with a lovely Lighthouse view.

BEACH GEAR: Beach carts, chairs, coolers and some toys are available. It is best to bring your favorite beach chairs if there is one you love.

LOCATION: Fort Screven Historic District – Restored Old Fort Screven historic property. Easy walk, just about 5 minutes, to a beautiful beach.

EXTERIOR: Large fenced backyard shaded by a giant magnolia tree. There is a park-style charcoal grill and table/chairs with umbrella.

MEDIA: Cable TV and WiFi provided.

A/C: Cool down after the beach with strong A/C and plenty of ceiling fans.

OUTDOOR SHOWER: Enclosed outdoor shower within the fenced backyard. This is shared with Cottage A.

You have the cottage along with the front porch and the backyard. There is also parking for 3 cars right at your door, onsite. There is direct access to the backyard, however, we do share the outdoor shower with Cottage A. The shed houses some beach carts and gear. These are first-come, first-serve and only provided as a courtesy. I do not guarantee availability or condition. Tim's Bike and Beach Gear will deliver bikes, chairs, carts, etc to our home free of delivery charge and you can schedule a pick-up time for your check out. This is a really easy and convenient way to enjoy the beach without having to buy or bring your beach gear.

Other things to note
Tybee Lighthouse Cottage (B) is an easy walk to the beach and to lots of parks including a fun children's playground and community ballpark.

The beds in each bedroom are King, Queen, Queen over Queen Bunk Bed and Twin Bed. Living room also has a Queen Pullout couch and we have an Air Mattress. Nice brand new deck in the backyard.

The space
My very clean, comfortable, and inviting cottage can welcome up to six guests offering them three bedrooms and one bath for their restful stay (4 beds total: one king, one queen, and two twin beds — each with a memory foam mattress). Amenities include a ceiling fan near the living room’s sectional seating area and also one in every bedroom, dimmable overhead recessed lighting (and lamps) in the combined living/kitchen area, several TV’s, a fully-stocked kitchen with new major appliances ready for meal preparation, a kitchen island with seating, an inside laundry area, and a backyard deck for sunning, lounging, dining, or drinks. Additional seating for two is positioned relaxingly near the marsh where beautiful sunsets and delightful breezes may spoil you. Also a great outdoor spot for stargazing, contemplation, conversing with a friend, reading or napping! Multiple free parking spaces (another perk!) are provided on the property by utilizing the home’s long driveway.

Although the beach is sure to keep you entertained, I hope you’ll set a little time aside to enjoy the pleasant backyard tidal breezes and moonlit tidal water views along the property’s adjacent marsh. Occasional splashing sounds of feeding birds will be sure to bring a smile to your face as large coastal birds can be seen almost daily enjoying this undisturbed area of the marsh.

My home is within walking distance to the beach (a 10-minute walk) and to many local spots, including: The Tybee Island Visitors Center, golf cart vendors, restaurants, retail shops, convenience stores, bars, ice cream/dessert shops, and recreational municipal parks.

Guests will utilize self check-in for access to the cottage and have full use of the entire home including the backyard deck and both the front and back yards. The garage and other storage structures on the property are reserved for storage by the owner.

Other things to note
There are 4-7 beach chairs, three (two average, one plush) beach towels, and a small (28 quart) Igloo cooler available for use during your stay. Two of the beach chairs are full recliners, the remaining chairs sit very low to the ground (Brazilian style).

-Photos are accurate and updated every winter. Updates since photos: Sadly, the arctic blast in February killed several plants out front, but new plants are growing! We recently painted the house & stained the deck. The refrigerator was recently upgraded.

-One of the few properties on Tybee with a very large, fully fenced in back yard and private parking for several vehicles in front.

-The beach supplies are located in a shed on the side of the house. Cooler, beach wagon & chairs.

-Most essentials provided. Guests need to provide charcoal for the grill, beach towels & any food related items.

-Guests w/ mobility issues: the entrances to the master bedroom have a half step down. There's also one full step onto the back deck and at the front door. All are clearly visible, but please be mindful of their location at check-in if step ups are a difficulty. There are no other stairs or steps at the cottage.

-Tybee nor any of the surrounding GA beaches allow dogs. See my guidebook for more details and alternatives.

-A couple of outlets are controlled by light switches. Front porch light & fan requires two switches. All switches are labeled.

-Please be mindful of the bathroom details in the listing. 1 full bath, 2 half baths & 2 outdoor enclosed (hot & cold) showers. Thank you so much!

The space
Magnolia Cottage has plenty of room to spread out with an open living space upstairs and a large screened in porch off of the living room. The back hall to the bedrooms has a door that can be closed for little ones that go to bed early or big ones that want to sleep in undisturbed in the morning.

Downstairs is an open hang out space with access to the driveway, as well as to the fenced in yard. There is plenty of seating, a picnic table and a shower area for sandy feet with hot and cold running water. The area is perfect for gathering with family and friends to relax after a day at the beach!

All rental properties are designated for residential use consistent with the City Of Tybee code. Prom groups, large groups, events, receptions, or like-kind events are not allowed.

Cars parked on premises shall not exceed the published parking capacity of the property. Cars must be parked in the driveway of the rental property. Parking in neighboring yards or driveways is prohibited.

LOCATION:
The location is my favorite thing about the property. Enjoy marsh views with amazing breezes and convenience of a central location. The entire island is only 2.5 miles long and the entire island is accessible by a golf cart and/or bikes.
