This private poolhouse is located behind the owners main house and is set far back for privacy. There is a separate entrance gate and path just for guests, so the experience remains private. This cottage sleeps 8, and is perfect for a long or short stay. As our guest, you have full access to the pool, fenced in yard, and 2 parking spots. With a full kitchen, washer/dryer, bathroom and additional outdoor shower, you should have everything you need! There is one main queen bed downstairs, along with the kitchen, living area, washer/dryer and bathroom/shower. Upstairs there are two matching lofts, both with removable ladders, that have a queen bed and twin bed on each side. (Note that the lofts are accessed by ladders if mobility is an issue). The poolhouse is dog friendly and is completely fenced in. The pool and outdoor shower are all yours, and beach towels are also provided. This 2 BR 2 BA Dune Crest detached cottage was recently renovated including a new kitchen and new furnishings. One of the best views of the golf course on the island! LONG, elevated views of two different holes of the Crooked Oaks Course.

The oversized deck has a wraparound view through the oak trees of the 1st fairway AND 18th fairway of the Crooked Oaks Golf Course. The deck also features a full stainless gas grill, a large teak table with 6 chairs, low-voltage lighting that comes on automatically at dusk, and cafe string lights.

Inside, walls of glass showcase the views of the golf course and surrounding oaks and palms. The kitchen has white modern cabinetry, granite counters, subway tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances including a full-size fridge and freezer with ice maker, full-size range, dishwasher, built-in microwave, and a large island for prep. There are dark hardwood floors throughout the house for easy cleaning.

The kitchen is open to the living and dining area. The dining table seats 3 comfortably, and the 4th chair is stored in the living room. Or, enjoy a meal outside on the deck at the large table and 6 chairs and enjoy the view!

The living room features two reclining leather chairs, and a white futon sofa (sleeps 1 child). There is also a 32” LED HDTV with HDTV programming along with on-demand access. The entire home is full of photographs from around Charleston and Seabrook.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed (sleeps 2) and attached full bath. The 4 floor-to-ceiling windows are inches away from an ancient oak tree! There are built-in shelves for storage, two closets, and a small desk and chair. There is also a 39” LED HDTV in this room with over 100 channels and HD programming.

The guest room features beautiful, unobstructed views of the 1st fairway and bunker of the Crooked Oaks Golf Course from 4 floor-to-ceiling windows. This room has a twin daybed with a twin trundle underneath (sleeps 2). There is also a tall dresser, and built in closet. There is a 39” LED HDTV in this room with over 100 channels as well. The guest room is just a couple of feet from the second full bath in the hallway.

Both bathrooms feature tile floors, updated vanities, new light fixtures, rainfall shower heads, and waffle-weave shower curtains.

Underneath the home are two South Carolina rope hammocks and low-voltage lighting. There are views of the golf course down here as well!

This home comes with an initial supply of towels, hand soap, and cleaning supplies. An initial supply of toilet paper and paper towels is provided as well. A washer and dryer is also located in the basement with access via the spiral staircase.

4 beach cruisers (all 26”) and 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs with built-in coolers and backpack straps are provided for your use as well.

Seabrook Island guests can use all beach accesses for free. Guests may also use the outdoor pool at The Lake House and playground for only an amenity card deposit fee. The two oceanfront pools (seasonal), club restaurants, equestrian, tennis, and golf require an amenity card. An amenity card may be obtained at the Club Amenity Office for $50 per day or $300 per week. Usage fees and a card deposit will apply. You must order your amenity card at least 48 hours before the first day you plan to use it (if one is desired).

We named it the RATHERSHACK because you'd rather be here than anyplace else in the world. We are 'second row' from the beach - which means a 45 second walk for you slow pokes, or 30 seconds for the average beach bum. The cottage we are advertising and scheduling here is the 2 BR 1.5 bath, this one is called the BeachShack. Lots of charm and beach feel decor at no extra charge as this unit has all new beach-style furnishings, flooring, paint, new roof, and new air conditioning installed. All cottages have open floor plans for casual gatherings after your day at the beach. This Unit has a fully stocked kitchen utensils etc with microwave and dishwasher. The 2 BR features a large master with a queen bed and the second bedroom has a full bed, plenty of changing room. Super clean no allergens pet dander etc as we do not allow pets. Units have Free TV, Smart TV and WIFI. Off Street parking for 1 vehicles included. . Gas grill on site available for you grill masters out there. Riding bikes is one of our favorite things to do around around here, and look at all the sugar shacks, moderate homes, and homemade fishing piers plopped right next to the occasional McMansion. This cottage is ideally located. The beach and Center St. are just minutes away. Charleston is less than a 15 minute drive. The cottage has a shady front porch. The main living is open and bright. There are two bedrooms, both of which have queen beds. The front bedroom has direct access to the master bathroom, while the back bedroom has it's own half-bath. The kitchen includes granite counter-tops, open shelving, and all of the amenities.

This Short Term Rental Agreement is entered into and made effective as of the booking date. Guests agree to the following rules and understand that possible termination of occupancy may occur if the rules are not adhered to.

The City of Folly Beach has ordinances related to noise, trash & recycling, alcohol on the beach, animals, litter, surfing, dune protection, sea turtles, smoking on the beach, requirements for special events, maximum occupancy, and golf carts. This Rental Agreement reflects these ordinances. Our Business License could be revoked if our guests do not follow these rules. Receiving a visit from Folly Beach Officials concerning any of these ordinances will result in the termination of occupancy

1. Guest responsible for renting the property must be at least 25 years old and must be staying at the property for the duration of the rental period.

2 Cancellation Policies:
A. Cancelation Policy: Reservations that are cancelled at least 60 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund of the deposit. Guests
who cancel within 60 days of check-in will not receive any refund.
B. Hurricane Cancellation Policy: Cancellation due to impending storms, inclement weather or other acts of God are not eligible for
refunds. Only if a mandatory evacuation order is given by the Governor of South Carolina, will any refund be given, and the refund will
be only for the unused days of the reservation.
C. We strongly suggest that you purchase "Cancel For Any Reason" travel insurance. Hurricanes and other natural disasters are
common to our area, and we will be unable to offer refunds for any reason other than the mandatory evacuation order mentioned
above.

3. If booking through VRBO, a deposit of 50% of the total rental cost is due at booking. Final payment will be charged automatically 21 days prior to arrival. If booking through Airbnb, you will be charged the full amount at the time of booking.

4. Guests understand that no refunds or adjustments will be made due to any equipment or appliance malfunction. Hock Homes will make every effort to have the repairs made as quickly as possible. The Guest must allow the Owner or their representative access to the property at any reasonable time during your stay, except in an emergency or if a problem needs sorting out quickly and you cannot be contacted in time. In these situations, the owner can enter the property at any time without giving you prior notice.

5. Guests understand that the homeowners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. All guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

6. Check-in is a 4:00. Check-out is at 10:00.

7. Guests must adhere to the parking policy: There are two off-street parking spots for the unit. Any additional cars, golf-carts, bikes, etc. must be parked on the street. (City of Folly Beach Ordinance)

8. Guests should not move furniture. Moving furniture without returning it will result in a $50 charge.

9. Guests may not have pets in the house.

10. Guests may not have parties. Parties of any kind will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement with no refund issued. Parties include dinner parties, family reunions, or any other gathering that includes more than the maximum number of occupants that the house sleeps. Loud music, screaming, yelling, dancing, or any other noise violations are also prohibited. There are three units on the property, and we expect our guests to be respectful of the guests staying in the other units. (City of Folly Beach Ordinance)

11. Guests must adhere to the maximum occupancy of the property, A=6, B=8, C=4. (City of Folly Beach Ordinance)

12. Guests must follow Folly Beach guidelines for trash and recycling pick-up. (City of Folly Beach Ordinance)
A. Garbage pick up is Mondays and Thursdays mornings.
B. Recycling is every Monday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and every other Monday during the off season.
C. All garbage and recycling containers must be placed on the street the evening prior to pick-up and removed from the street by 6:00
p.m. on trash day.

13. Guests may not smoke anywhere on the property including the porches.

14. Guests must leave the house clean upon checkout. Your cleaning fee covers the deep clean of the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning, sanitizing, etc). It also covers the washing and drying of the bed and bath linen. Guests are responsible for the following:
A. Remove all items from the refrigerator and freezer; wipe up any spills.
B. Take out trash and recycling to the large green and blue cans in back.
C. Roll cans to the curb ONLY if checking out on the day before trash or recycling day.
D. Remove any clutter and/or trash from the porches and/or yard. You may leave beach accessories if they are in working order. Damaged chairs, floats, and toys should be removed. Leaving damaged items will result in a $50 charge.
E. Run the dishwasher.
F. Put all used towels in front of the washing machine.
G. Do not remove bed linen. The housekeepers will strip the beds.
H. Make sure that the thermostat is set to 78 in summer and 65 in winter.

15. Guests understand that the credit card on file will be charged for any damage done to the unit or any of the contents of the unit. Additional charges may apply for the following reasons:.
A. Failure to follow the check-out day cleaning instructions.
B. Failure to check-out by the specified check-out time (10:00 a.m.)
C. Failure to follow the trash/recycling instructions.
D. Having an unapproved pet on the premises.
E. Disturbing other guests by not following the policies listed in # 10.

By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, as acknowledged by payment for the booking, the Guest waives, discharges and agrees to hold harmless the Owner from all damages or injuries arising from or related to the Guest stay at Property, including without limitation, any accidents or injury to the Guest, Guest’s visitors and associates, and loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind. The Guest is responsible for keeping his valuables safe at all times.

This intimate, comfortable cottage is pristine and crisp and begs for you to relax. It is a second home - all you need to pack are your personal items.It has a beautiful lagoon and sunset view from the screened porch and deck. The deck has been expanded to provide room to enjoy the long lagoon view. There is a table suitable for dining on the screened in porch. The deck with the lagoon view was enlarged in Jan, 2014, The cottage was modified when it was built to offer an extra wall of windows which brings the lovely tropical setting even closer to our guest. There is patio furniture and a gas grill which are great for chilling out after a day on the beach. The lagoon attracts some interesting birds and wildlife - a haven for admiring nature. The beach is about a 7 minute walk from the cottage. On route to the beach is a pool which guests of the Greenslake Cottages have access to with no charge. This upscale cottage was completely remodeled in 2006- hardwood floors, granite counters,etc. The open den and dining room combination provide a panoramic view of the lagoon through the sliding glass doors and windows. Equipped with wifi , color hi def TV's with DVR, DVD, and stereo/CD in the den. The well equipped kitchen has been enlarged with a dine on bar and has ample space for a gourmet chef to do their magic.
Ceiling fans are in the den, and each bedroom to provide added cooling along with the central HVAC after a day on the beach. Solar tubes bring extra light into the baths and kitchen area.

The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with a shutter head board . The mattress just begs you to sleep late. There is an en suite bath with large tiled walk in shower off of the master. On a built in armoire sits a 32" TV in the master bedroom. A sliding door offers light and a lagoon view.

The restful guest bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and a bath with tub + shower. There is a 20'" flat-screen TV in this bedroom . Plantation shutters in this bedroom enhance the cottage atmosphere.

The cottage has central air and heat and has plantation ceiling fans in both bedrooms in addition to the screen porch and den.

The cottage is in the West Beach area at the end of a cul de sac, which provides privacy and access to twenty miles of bike paths with one leading to Freshfields Village for shopping and ( ice cream ). It has a canopy of a beautiful live oak tree that frames the cottage entrance. The Cougar Point Golf Course is just a few minutes walk as is the lovely 10 mile hard packed sand beach.

Full size washer and dryer. Thorough cleaning between guests help provide safety to prevent the spread of contagious diseases. This charming cottage is a haven tucked off of Folly Road. Only 5 minutes from Folly Beach and 8 minutes from downtown historical Charleston.
The porch over looks a large back yard that is framed in by four majestic Grand Oaks that are draped with Spanish Moss, hence how the cottage was named. While relaxing it is possible to see occasional wildlife!

The space
Live oaks provide a canopy over the cottage and many windows make for a beautifully, well lit spot with tons of natural light. Open floor plan offers a big bay window with bistro seating, a kitchen with pantry, coffee pot, toaster oven, and wall oven, and the living room is spacious with a couch, bookshelf, coffee table, and large TV. The bedroom is just off the living room where you'll find a the separate laundry room, queen bed with two nightstands, dresser, closet and a bathroom that features an alcove.

Coastal Cottage is situated in the back of the half acre lot. In the front of our property is our sister Airbnb: Live Oak Retreat. It features a 3/2.5 one story home. Guests of Coastal Cottage park directly in front of their home. Guests at Live Oak Retreat park on the left side of the driveaway and along the side of the deck and carport. The right side of the driveway needs to remain open so Coastal Cottage guests can access their home. We have never had any issues with parking but want to make sure all guests are aware of how to share the parking space.

The starter basics of soap, dish soap, shampoo & conditioner and laundry detergent are provided as well. There is also a washer and dryer. An outdoor shower is on the side of the cottage to wash off from the beach! There are also 4 beach chairs available for your use.

This elegant Kiawah Island cottage is open and spacious with a comfortable living area and flat screen TV, a large, updated kitchen with a breakfast bar and a nice wrap around deck with gas grill for guest use. This Sparrow Pond cottage rental has 3 bedrooms and comfortably accommodates up to 7 guests. The primary suite has a king bed with a private bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and private bathroom and Bedroom 3 is perfect for the kids with a bunk bed with twin on top and full bed with trundle on the bottom, and a half bath. Smart TVs with Netflix and local channels are provided in the living room and both bedrooms. You can also log into other streaming services with your own account if you'd like.

The house is thoughtfully prepared for your arrival with flatware, knives, cookware, and toaster all made by Cuisinart and were all purchased new exclusively for this vacation home. Tea, coffee, creamer, sugar are all provided as well as a waffle iron, towels, bed linens, hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. We recycle! You will find a blue recycle bin in the laundry room between the washer and dryer.

The value of this home is incredible and the location is amazing. If you would like to enjoy a day on the beach and a night on the town with a group of friends or family, then this is the house for you!! Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.

This allows for parking for up to 9 cars on the property. There are 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths stocked with fresh clean linens, beach towels and toiletries. All bathrooms are brand new and the gorgeous primary bath boasts a large dual shower. You don't have to worry about taking a cold shower with the new tankless hot water heater, everyone can get ready at the same time with endless hot water. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you should need including a stocked cute coffee bar with a Nespresso machine for espresso, drip coffee machine, milk frother, and electric teapot. Coffee, tea, & sugar and creamer provided. ​
The living room, kitchen, and master have new flat screen Smart TVs where you can log into and account, Hulu is included in your stay. The living room has a basket of comfy throws. After a day of walking the beautiful streets of downtown Charleston, enjoy a cozy movie night. The primary, queen bedroom, & bunk room all have local channels.

The open primary space has a king size bed and a victorian love seat- great for reading a good book, or the bridal party watching the bride get ready. In the primary closet you will find a baby changing pad, soft infant seat, & Pack 'n Play for your little ones.

The queen bedroom is located at the front of the home, it has beautiful custom built ins and original shiplap on the ceiling. On these built ins you will find a storage container of board games, and kids toys. (+more games in the living room coffee table)

The bunk room has a twin bunk bed and full bed, as well as a floor small 6' twin mattress that is stored under the full bed. Extra bedding is stored in the bottom drawer of the dressers in each bedroom.

On the front porch there are rocking chairs to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee with expansive front yard views with lots of wildlife. Enjoy the herb and flower gardens in the yard.

I recommend bringing some running shoes, skateboard, roller blades, etc to enjoy the freshly paved shaded neighborhood. Enjoy a walk to Terrace Plaza for nearby restaurants, theater, concert venue Charleston Pour House, boat ramp water views, City of Charleston Municipal Golf Course, grocery store, Starbucks, & local coffee shops.

Centrally located- only a 8-10 minute drive to downtown Charleston, 15 minutes to Folly Beach, 15 minutes to the Angel Oak tree, 10 minutes to James Island County Park.

Pet Rules
I allow pets. I just ask if they are used to getting on furniture you bring your own blankets for them to lie on. There is one couch cover in the primary bedroom dresser. The wood floors are original to the 70year old home, so if they scratch your floors at your own home they will damage mine, which is a $1,000 charge.
Riverland Terrace is beautiful to take the dogs for a walk, it is nice and shaded with all the trees.
There is also a dog park in the neighborhood.
