The space:
Blackbeard Creek Cottage is a studio cabin built in 1966 on a 1-acre bluff overlooking miles of unobstructed marsh views. Enjoy the never ending salt air breeze and soak in the incredible sunset while sipping your favorite beverage. Take delight in the natural silence and beauty that the Georgia coastline has to offer without ever leaving the property.

The cottage houses a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining table, a full bathroom with a stand-up shower, one queen canopy bed in the living area, one full platform bed in the loft, two full-size couches, a small desk with chair, and a full-size ping pong table.

Guest access:
Guests will have access to the whole cottage as well as all of the 1-acre property grounds.

Other things to note:
1. INTERNET: We purposely do not have WiFi/Cable. We find that staying at the cottage is a refreshing digital detox for all, but if you have Verizon, you do have service enough to hotspot your laptop if necessary depending on your provider data package.

2. WATER ACCESS: There is no dock at this time. Unfortunately, Hurricane Irma carried our dock away, and we have not been able to replace it yet. Without the dock and with the embankment bank material scattered, it is difficult to swim in the water at this time, and we advise against it.

3. NEIGHBORHOOD: This cottage is located in a coastal, RURAL, residential neighborhood. Please be respectful of any and all neighbors.

4. FENCING: The property is fully fenced except for the waterside and includes a driveway gate.

5. DESIGN & MORE: The cottage was built in 1966, and though it has been renovated, it still carries the charm, quirks, & character of its age. The interior cedar wooden beams gather dust and clingy cobwebs, and the stairs are original and very steep. There is a bi-monthly pesticide service, but some bugs still find their way inside the cottage. The faucets’ water comes from a community well and occasionally has a sulfur smell to it. There is also an older, unused shed on property that is not pictured. The bathroom wallpaper and sink are original. We chose to keep these elements from the past on purpose even though they show signs of their age. Please carefully review the listing pictures BEFORE your stay to determine whether or not you can accept or appreciate the design choices we have made and the cottage’s old charm. If you continue with your stay, we trust that you will respect our space and design choices.

6. . ALLERGIES: We allow guests to bring their beloved dogs for the trip. We do our best to rid the cottage of any evidence of the dogs, but IF you are highly ALLERGIC to PETS or DUST, you may want to choose another location to rent. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

However, with the rising cost of fees and taxes applied (that we unfortunately have no control over), guests expectations are increasingly reaching an unattainable reality. A Great Vacation Rental centrally located on St. Simons Island in the Sea Palms community on the number 1 hole of Sea Palms Golf Resort. Next to a lovely lagoon, you will enjoy a very peaceful setting shared with nature. Two decks overhang the water for turtle and fish viewing. Appropriately decorated in a soft setting of sea foam, indigo blues, driftwoods, and grays. 55" Smart TV with full-service Xfinity and Netflix and Prime video along with free internet and Wi-Fi. There is another TV in the bedroom along with a very comfy chaise.

Our cottage is located in the condo community of Fairway Villas but is a stand-alone unit.....very private. This is a one bedroom/one bath home, king size bed with a sleeper sofa in the living-room to accommodate an extra guest. We provide a thick topper for extra comfort on the sleeper sofa. Also included for your convenience is a starter package of soaps and paper goods.

Walk across the road to the Public House at Sea Palms for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. Public golf is available at Sea Palms. St Simons has wonderful safe biking paths for all ages to take you right into the village or beach, which is approximately 5 miles from the cottage. Being centrally located on the island you can get anywhere in less than 15 minutes by car.

The five spacious bedrooms have been lovingly decorated to make you feel at home. Comfortable beds, plenty of storage space, and great lighting make each bedroom cozy and inviting for a good night’s rest.

Three of the bedrooms are on the first floor. The first bedroom offers a comfortable king-sized bed, a flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a lovely queen-sized bed to stretch out on, a dresser, a mirror, and a soothing rocker. It’s the perfect spot to curl up with your favorite book and a mug of cocoa after a day on the beach.

The third bedroom doubles up as a den, which makes it a great room for your group to hang out together. You’ll find a flat-screen TV where you can catch up with your favorite TV shows or watch a movie, plus plenty of reading material when you need to take a break from screen time. The sofa pulls out into a full-sized bed with a comfortable memory foam mattress. There is even a desk to get some last minute work done.

There are another two lovely bedrooms with oak floors on the second floor. The fourth bedroom has a comfy queen-sized bed and a private sitting area with a plush couch that folds out into a sofa bed. It’s a cozy spot for watching TV or reading in privacy away from the rest of the group.

Opposite the fourth bedroom, you’ll find the large fifth bedroom. This is the ideal room for kids, with two twin beds and a twin trundle with two more twins for your use. On one side of the room, you’ll find a comfortable seating area with a daybed and plenty of children’s games and books to keep your little ones entertained. There is another desk to use as well.

Separate from the main house, you’ll find a cozy annex, which we fondly call the “garottage”. This colorful place is perfect to escape from the hustle and bustle of the main house and provides your family with additional private space. Inside this vibrant building, you’ll find a comfortable queen-sized bed and a brightly-colored couch. With a kitchenette, shower room, and laundry facilities, you’ll have everything you need for some quiet time to yourself, but remain close enough to enjoy all the group fun!

Three full bathrooms provide your group with ample room to freshen up for each fun-filled beach day! One bathroom is the first-floor ensuite bath, which can be accessed from the primary bedroom. This charming cottage is the guesthouse located next to another Airbnb, which is surrounded by churches and a charming green space. You almost feel transported to old town Georgia with church bells chiming. Then you can have a lovely short walk to downtown Brunswick or to the bakery around the corner. Minutes from Jekyll and St.Simons for beach access. Newly furnished and very relaxing. This space has been completely renovated in 2021. Cool colors and just what you need for your getaway.

Have you ever stayed in an old salon? Here’s your chance. Sarah Hobbs a local beautician had a salon called The Paragon Beauty Shop located on G Street in downtown Brunswick. She wanted to work closer to home and not pay rent so she decided to build a little place to accommodate her customers. She built her salon beside her residence in the 1950s and it was known as The Salon. I left 2 pictures for you to enjoy, one is at the Paragon Beauty Salon with Sarah(she has the darker lips). The other is a relative swinging on the front porch of he main house with the dogs in the 50s. We remodeled it and now it’s the perfect size one bedroom for those who will be busier out and about enjoying our community for you to enjoy.

There is a small patio for outdoor dining and two adult bikes are provided for easy exploring. Pups are always welcome for an additional fee.

Welcome to Norris Cottage Unit B.... Unit B is the rear portion of a duplex unit. The property is located on a charming street in the heart of downtown St. Mary's. St. Mary's, Georgia is a picturesque coastal village at the southern most point of the state. The cottage is walking and biking distance to shops, dining and access to the Cumberland Island ferry. The home has two lovely bedrooms, a cozy living area, kitchen and bathroom. Norris Cottage is small, but welcoming and efficient.

The space
The hosts desire to present a space that is both super clean, simply decorated, and always peaceful and refreshing. Unit B has an amazing covered outdoor living space. You will find a comfortable couch as well as rocking chairs for relaxing. In addition, the back outdoor space is complete with grill and outdoor dining. Once inside, the space features two bedrooms; one with a queen bed and one with two twins....perfect for families or friends traveling together. Although small, the kitchen is efficient and supplied with what guests need to cook meals and snacks during their stay. Lastly, when guest are ready to venture out and explore, feel free to utilize the two bikes that are provided. We welcome pets!! There will be an additional FEE for puppers:-)

The perfect vacation rental on St Simons Island. The rental is located in the beautiful Sea Palms community and is within walking distance to the Sea Palms Golf Resort. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed, 2 bathrooms, a washer and dryer, kitchen and living space combo, Wi-Fi, and a 55'' TV with cable. The cottage also has a peaceful deck next to the front door.

The space
The cottage is located in Sea Palms, a residential community on St Simons Island and home to the Sea Palms Golf Resort. The cottage is less than a 5 minute walk to the Resort. The Executive Golf Villas are one level homes (13 in total), all connected by a boardwalk path. The area is quiet and peaceful.

Each bedroom in the cottage is supplied with bed linens, 4 sets of towels, tissues, toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap. Four beach towels are available in the main closet. The following two items may be available upon request:

The cottage's kitchen has dinnerware for 6, pots, pans, an apron, kitchen towels, dish soap, a new sponge, dishwasher soap, and a roll of paper towels. Coffee filters are also available for the drip coffee machine. The fire extinguisher is under the kitchen sink.

We require that all pets be pre-approved. It is the pet owner's responsibility to have the pet leashed while walking outside of the unit, as well as to pick up and dispose of all waste in the large blue dumpster at the far end of the parking lot. The pet fee is $65. You will be contacted after booking to share details regarding your pet.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire private cottage. Check-in is at 3:00pm and check-out is at 11:00am. Check-in instructions will be sent to guests a few days before arrival.

The Home is newly constructed with a coastal theme. With front porches that overlook the marsh and a side screened porch, the space is welcoming and relaxing.
