This quaint cottage is in the heart of it all. Close to family-friendly activities and nightlife, located on the main street of Bluffton SC on CALHOUN STREET. Park off street (1) space provided and walk everywhere. 2 blocks to the town dock and Church of the Cross too. There is a park behind the home as well as one block away. The home sits on 1/2 an acre of land with amazing oak trees.

Featuring a renovated bathroom, new living room couch that folds out into an extra bed, full kitchen with EVERYTHING including coffee maker, dishwasher, major appliances and ICE. Grill is provided along with access to laundry if needed. There’s a carport too if additional space is needed (shared with accessory unit).

If the leisurely drive through the winding roads with golf course views to this amazing cottage don't relax you, then perhaps a cocktail on the screened in patio will. You will find everything you need for an unforgettable, comfortable vacation in this beautifully appointed 3 bedroom/ 3 bath golf cottage.

In the kitchen you will find appliances, dishes, cookware... everything you need to prepare your own meals if you wish to. Just bring your groceries with you, and make yourself at home.

In the living room you will see plenty of comfortable seating and a television with DVD player. The patio doors open up to a large patio with outdoor dining.

The upstairs bedroom features a queen size bed, TV with DVD player and a gorgeous private bathroom.

2 bedrooms Downstairs the 1st bedroom features 1 king bed, TV and DVD player and private bath; the other has 2 queen beds, a kitchenette with sink, mini fridge and microwave, an en suite bathroom, and direct access to the front patio.

This 3 bedrooom home is spotless and kept very clean. The beds are comfortable and have very thick pillow top mattresses and great pillows, a full assortment from feather to temperpedic. I want your stay to be better than the Ritz and a lot more Grand.

The Chic Bluffton Cottage is a one bedroom, one bath unique home in the heart of Old Town Bluffton. The handcrafted home features wood pine floors and walls with a solid tin roof. Beautiful front porch to enjoy lowcountry evenings on. Bikes and Golf carts are also available to rent from a local company. The Lowcountry at its orginal best. Old live oaks, camellia forests, magnolias, a perfect location from which to explore the Lowcountry. This cottage is the original house on the property known as Cedar Bluff, and shares the 3 acres with the owners who live in main house steps away. Still private and quiet.

The cottage features a wonderful screened porch, hardwood floors, stone fireplace with gas logs, ceiling fans throughout. Dating from 1925, the cottage has lots of character that one would expect but with all the necessities like updated bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, streaming TV, internet. There are only a handful of authentic Lowcountry River Cottages left: here is your opportunity to experience the Lowcountry at its best: comfortable, nestled among large oaks, pines, camellias and azaleas with a tidal river seen from the front porch.

About our cottage:

Packed with Southern Charm and all the features you need for a great stay in Palmetto Bluff. As a guest, you will have access to the scenery and a wide variety of open to the public venues that the neighborhood has to offer. Our home is located steps away from the Village green space on the May River which features the chapel, pier, bocce courts, and swings. In addition to this, you may choose to contact Outside Palmetto Bluff for outings on the river or waterway, bike rentals, kayaks, and paddleboards. There is also an option for access to many of the Palmetto Bluff Club amenities with he exception of golf. We share more details below and can send you a document as well.

Our Palmetto Bluff home is set up to be easy to use for a family, a multi-generational visit, or a group of friends. There are two bedrooms with king-size beds on the first floor each has a private bath and direct access to the rear screen porch.

The first floor also features a well-equipped kitchen, laundry, half bath, and a great room with a gas log fireplace. This area serves as the primary living and dining space.

The rear screen porch is set up with a seating area and a dining table. The Front porch has a seating area, bistro table, and swing-style daybed.

Just off our kitchen, there is a side door that leads to a grill area that has a natural gas Weber genesis grill.

The second floor features a large bedroom with a king-size bed, a bunk room with 4 twin beds, 1 full (shared) bath that has a separate tub and shower. There is also a small sitting room with doors that can be a great little getaway space, office set up, or a place for kids, this is a perfect spot for a pack-n-play for any little ones that need a place to rest.

Please note that while our cottage does sleep up to 10 people our rates are based on an 8-person occupancy. Additional guest fees apply for guests beyond the initial 8 people. The club is also limiting rental guest amenity access to 8 people per rental house.

For guests that are not members of Palmetto Bluff, South Street Partners has adopted policies for rental guest amenity access. Amenity access is optional. If choosing amenity access, there will be a $25/night administration fee that will be invoiced to guests through VRBO. For a fee of $25/day per person, amenity access will be available to some pools, fitness center, and an option for limited reservations to restaurants on property. The fee for the pool and fitness is per day and per person for adults and children 6 and over. This fee is collected by the club upon arrival at the pool or fitness center for those who are using the facilities. Rental guest amenity access is not available during major holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The Cedar Bluff Cottage is located on the beautiful May River in old town Bluffton. The cottage is situated within close walking distance from Calhoun street and the Promenade area where there are several shops, restaurants, art galleries, etc. There is also another house on the property.

Welcome to the "Low Country" life style. This three bedroom and a bunk room which sleeps 4 was built in 2015. It has two and half bathrooms and is located in the heart of Palmetto Bluff. Enjoy the backyard fire pit with chairs to roast marsh mellows or just relax and enjoy coffee or cocktails after your memorable day. A screened in porch has a seating area and an dining area. There is a gas grill available in addition to the well stocked kitchen. Palmetto Bluff is located in Southern Beaufort County, and is a short distance from the pristine beaches of Hilton Head Island, and the history and beauty of Savannah, Old Town Bluffton and Beaufort.

This home includes a master bedroom suite on the first floor with an ensuite bathroom. A tastefully designed open concept kitchen and an adjacent great room with a fireplace and dining area. The second floor also includes one bedroom with a king bed and a second bedroom with a king bed. There is one full bathroom which both bedrooms share. The second floor also includes a comfortable "kids lounge" which includes a bunk bed (twin up and fulldown with a pull-out trundle) and a Yogibo pillow for additional kid-friendly comfort. This cottage is fully equipped with all linens and appliances, including a Sonos audio-visual system complete with flat screen TV's throughout out the cottage. The rear of the house includes a screened-in porch with dining table and an additional sitting area. If outside is your pleasure, there is a gas fired/log burning fire pit flanked by Adirondack-style chairs for evening relaxation. Adjacent to the cottage is the Wilson Lawn and Racquet Club which has tennis, pickleball, basketball, bocce ball, and croquet. Enjoy The Canoe Club Restaurant, Pools & Fitness Centers, the Moreland's Pools & Fitness Center and the many other on site restaurants including The River House, Octagon, Fore & Aft, The Canteen, Buffalo's, May River Grill after golfing and morning fresh pastries and coffee at Buzz. The Canoe Club and Moreland main pools have a bar and seasonal outside dining. A very short stroll from the cottage is the gourmet grocery store known as RT'S Market.
Bicycling is a way of life at Palmetto Bluff, as is golf-cart travel.

- "It was a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing place to stay. Had all the items needed to make our stay a great one. Especially loved the sunroom. the bathrooms were modern and had really great showers. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and easily accessible. The price was great and would definitely stay there again if we are in the area. Bluffton is a beautiful town with a lot of restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the farmers market and were able to pick up a lot of produce and other items. we went on a golf cart tour which was well worth the money spent."

Luna Cottage is simply an extraordinary home. Located on a quiet street in Moreland Village, it backs up to the River Road Preserve walking trail. It is steps away from the May River, Moreland Village (which has the Canteen and Coles Restaurants ) A quick golf cart ride will bring you to other Palmetto Bluff activities and amenities.
Luna Cottage is 3000 sq ft. home with 4 bedrooms. Two king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and steam showers. A bunk room and 2 queen beds share a bathroom on the 2nd floor. There are 3 1/2 bathrooms and a very large porch with a ping pong table.
The house is cozy enough for couples to stay and ample enough for several families. The layout is perfect for entertaining, with its open living, dining, and kitchen areas. The generous back porch is the perfect spot for morning coffee or an afternoon nap or game of ping pong. A stunning French range and the fully equipped kitchen is outfitted with a stunning French range and plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, and high end appliances .
The primary suite on the main level is private and tucked away. There is a duplicate primary suite on the second floor as well as, complete with a king bed and steam shower. The third bedroom is furnished with two queen beds and shares a bath with the bunk room.
Completed in the fall of 2023 and furnished with quality furniture, designer fixtures and decorative touches. This is not just a rental home, but a families dream home! It will be hard to leave...but you can always come back to "Luna"

Built in 1909 the Historic Fripp-Lowden is the most photographed house in Bluffton. Say goodbye to crowded neighborhoods and traffic and enjoy the quiet nature surrounding this one-of-a-kind cottage. Come build a fire, light up the grill, and enjoy the outdoors as you overlook the private lake. This house is also a bird watchers delight with numerous wild ducks, geese, and songbirds.

This house also serves as the perfect getaway for a wedding party, as it directly adjacent to Hewitt oaks and right outside the gates of Palmetto Bluff.
Guest access
Guests will have the entire 3 bedroom / 2.5 baths home all to themselves. Guests will also be able to enjoy the private lake, fenced in backyard, and ample acreage to themselves. An additional adjacent apartment with its own king bed, tv, bathroom, and kitchenette is also available upon request for an extra fee if more space is needed.
Dogs can enjoy a specially designated room, “the dog room” which is equipped with beds, bowls, and toys. The room is completely visible as a main part of the house so your pet will not feel left out of the fun. The room is also connected straight into the fenced in backyard. Please understand that pets are not allowed in the rest of the house.
Please remember that all fishing is catch and release. No smoking on premises is allowed. A strict fine will be issued if tobacco use is present on property.
Check in is after 4 pm. Check out is before 11 am.

- "The Darling Cottage House was clean, spacious and the most serene place I have ever visited. The lake out back provided the peace and calm I was seeking. One friend with us is an avid bird watcher and she was not disappointed. We were so surprised to know that Bluffton is only 30 mins from both Hilton Head and Savannah, and we were able to visit both places. The people in Bluffton were friendly and the food, especially at Bluffton BBQ on "State of Mind St." was outstanding. I wasn't going to include this, but since I was asked to give this review a title, the first thing that came to mind is " Meandering Crater Road". As lovely as the property is, the access to it was a quite challenging. Our first impression was to see the charm of the road to the location, but the deep craters, pooled with water cause us to drive at a snail's pace and meander around them, thus we dubbed the road "Meandering Crater Road." Aside from the road, we had a wonderful stay at the cottage house. Heidi was always prompt in responding to our inquiries from start to finish. We even booked an extra day! I would really enjoy visiting the Darling Cottage House on the Lake again."

The Cove House is located in Olde Town Bluffton down a lane that provides privacy away from the near by downtown area . The 1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage provides plenty of comforts while being surrounded by the lowcountry atmosphere. With a large front porch you can sit and enjoy the day as you please or dine. Plenty of seating in the living room along with an eat-in table. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, historical markers, churches, playgrounds/parks and the May River. A short drive to Hilton Head Island, Beaufort or Savannah, GA.

Bring your bike and pedal along the streets of Bluffton or on the many miles of bike routes or bring your kayak to paddle on the May River. If you don’t have a bike or kayak you can rent the kayaks and I have bikes.


Outlet stores, large retail and grocery stores, and more restaurants are only a short five to ten-minute drive from the house.

The space
The cottage is on private property. The master bedroom has a king bed and full bath. The small kitchen (with most amenities you will need), as well as a breakfast room and TV room with piano are on the main floor. The upstairs loft area has 2 twin beds and a full bath with shower. It is very quiet, and if you like the sound of nature you will find it very peaceful!

Due to county rules we cannot accept short term rentals. Please inquire about our long term pricing and cancellation policy. We have a fairly strict cancellation policy, but we also understand that we can't control everything in life.

Amenities are not available at this time to non-residents. This includes both pools, golf course, dining areas, etc... I will post an update if the policy changes. The beaches of Hilton head are open however!!
