The carpeted bedroom has a king size bed and the one bathroom is ensuite. The cottage has its own private entrance/covered/fenced courtyard with patio furniture, fun party lights and Weber gas grill. The bathroom has a large shower with good water pressure. The front porch is a covered sitting area with privacy and landscaping. The front patio is open and has a hose with doggie bathtub around the front of the cottage. Wifi, internet, Direct TV, firestick. HE washer and dryer in the shared laundry room (private and enclosed). There is a covered single carport which makes ease of getting out of your car and walking into the cottage. The cottage provides room for ONE CAR ONLY! Visitors must find a parking space at another location. There simply is not enough room for two vehicles at all. Don't park on the pavers leading to the back cottage.

Being right on the water and having the dock is amazing. You can view the Lions bridge and the Vilano bridge, along with all the boats anchored out in the bay. Ruby Dog on B is only one house off of the beach so access to the beach and ocean is just a few steps away. This cottage has two bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms, the second-floor bedroom is loft style accessed by a spiral staircase, its ensuite bath has a tub and shower. The kitchen is outfitted with a full-size range, full-size side by side refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher all faced in stainless-steel. Countertops are granite. The Cottage sleeps 4

The sitting area is furnished with a couch, two side chairs, and a coffee table. It's cozy and small and best enjoyed by two couples, or one couple who would like a little extra room. I'm grateful that guests say it looks like the photos.

There is a deck at the door with an outdoor bistro table and chairs to provide a wonderful place to read or enjoy your coffee. Oh yes, there is a wonderful coffee shop attached to the deck just steps away. Relampago Coffee Lab offers wonderful coffee choices as well as sandwiches, scones, cookies, and turnovers.

About the House' History
This home at 76 Spanish Street is known historically as the Sabate House. This one and a half story frame vernacular house, tucked in between two taller homes, was built by St Augustine city alderman Ramon Sabate in about 1840 and it sits back from the street. It is not the home’s original location, as it previously sat at the corner of Spanish and Treasury streets sometime before 1874. It once featured weatherboard slanted at forty-five degrees, rather than placed horizontally to be parallel to the roofline. This structure is one of three Territorial Florida Period buildings still standing in Saint Augustine!

Accessibility
The whole house is available to guests. There is a ramp from street level to the door. There is no ramp at the threshold of the entry door nor is the downstairs shower stall wheelchair accessible. But, the downstairs bath is a shower with a low ridge.

Parking in the historic city center is challenging. We have one space available for guest in the lot across the street.

Regarding the nightly rates: please do Your due diligence and check all available reservation vendors. Our rate is consistent across platforms. However, service fees and requirements vary among providers. May I gently ask that you make your choice within your budget. Requests for concession will be kindly refused.

Thanks for your inquiry into The Cottage at 76 Spanish St.

I’m sorry but we have a spiral staircase that is too much of a hazard for small children. And I would hate if a little one hurt themselves. And it is too tempting to play on.

Also, the city of St Augustine sewer is old and cannot take makeup or baby wipes at all. These are very popular baby maintenance items that I have tried to keep out of the house and plumbing. I have made exceptions in the past but was disappointed by guests who ignored my request to keep baby wipes and makeup wipes out of the toilet.

The plumber cost $450 each time we have it snaked And even though I showed the wipes at the end of the snake, guests flatly denied using them. Despite the evidence to the contrary dripping right in front of them. It's not fun. It's not pleasant, it's not necessary.

I’m so sorry to say no to pet and kids. I wish I didn’t need to do so. I love pets and babies. But it’s the parents that worry me. It’s a shame really. I want to be able to host kids and pets but the costs have become prohibitive. We are a small operation and cannot afford to absorb the costs of thoughtlessness. Plus I want a positive experience for myself and my guests, I don’t want to be put in the position of having to point out their mistakes in judgment. Life needs to be pleasant and enjoyable. The vast majority of our guests are wonderful, fun, conscientious, and a joy. But the negative experiences have required us to tighten up a bit.

I’m sure you would be the exception to the rule. But we have made the decision to avoid the unpleasantness altogether.

- "We loved the cottage we stayed in. It was small but the layout was great. It was very clean and everything was recently updated. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. The backyard was great for the dogs. Very short walk to the beach. Only a few houses away. The only improvement I could see would be the chair in the living room. If one person stretches out on the couch, the chair that is left is extremely small and uncomfortable. A small recliner in that spot would be wonderful to be able to stretch out. That still doesn’t take away from giving this place 5 stars!"

The space
The cottage is located near Crescent Lake. The driveway has parking for 2 vehicles and a boat trailer. Bring your tackle and get on the lake for great freshwater fishing or crabbing! The casita is located in front of the main house that is located directly on Crescent Lake. You can access the lake via the many boat ramps in Crescent City.

The keyless entry smart lock is located on the front door. We utilize specific codes to specific guests for entry and security.

One large comfortable bedroom with en suite bathroom is available for guests with an ample sized bathroom, (an extra bed can be provided upon request), living room and chef's kitchen.
The kitchen is outfitted with a microwave, Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker, full size refrigerator with freezer, and a gas stove. Utensils, serving ware, and pots and pans are provided.

Bathroom includes a good size shower, hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper, and fresh clean towels.

Outdoor space is your own private garden perfect for morning coffee, afternoon wine or eating outdoors.

You may see a variety of animals on this property. Wild turkeys, deer, raccoons, squirrels, birds and even a neighbor's loose cow here and there. Crescent Lake is teaming with fish but also, like most bodies of water in Florida, has snakes and alligators. Please do not swim in the lake or feed the alligators.

You have the whole Casita to yourselves, you are welcome to use the outdoor patio garden just off the bedroom. Driveway area in front of the guest house is yours as well, just don't block the main driveway.

We are adjacent to Crescent Lake, please note that this lake has alligators and snakes. Please do not swim in the lake or feed the wildlife. We ask our Casita guests to give the main home guests their privacy and vice versa. If you are interested in booking both homes, please let us know!

Almost new cottage available for rent! A short walk to one of Florida's most beautiful beaches. Guests use a neighborhood 'walk through' to the beach just across A1A. Clean & comfortable front 2 bedroom apartment with full bath and kitchen. There is a small front porch and enclosed outdoor patio and fenced area. Guest will have front of the cottage. Locked doors separate from homeowner back area. We're happy to share our WAV Beach Cottage with guests and want them to enjoy their time there.

The space
There are two bedrooms. One has a queen bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds. There is a full bath with shower and tub. There is a full kitchen and living and eating area combo. Guests will have the entire front portion of the house while the owners stay in a totally separate but attached back apartment. There are locked doors separating the front rental area from the back homeowner area. There are 2 great restaurants just steps away.

Our house is only two years old and the two bedroom front section is available for rent. There is ample space for guests to park in the front and easy access to the front door. The living room makes a nice place to relax or enjoy streaming on the TV. ( good wifi but no cable TV) The full size kitchen is fully equipped. The fully fenced side yard and patio is a great feature.

Other things to note
Listed cleaning price includes Linen Service. To save money, guests can bring their own sheets (one queen bed and two twins) and towels. The cleaning fee will be reduced from $140 to $95. If guests elect to bring their own linens, they will pay Airbnb full $140 cleaning fee when booking and Host will refund the guest $45 after check-in. Please let the host know in advance if you choose to bring your own linens.

If you like a tiny house but not too tiny you will love the comfort of our quaint cottage with apparent wood beams and ceiling. Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort is one of the only remaining campgrounds located directly on the ocean. It has the feel of "old Florida" very safe and gated with lots of amenities for any age.

The space
Unit #63 is a park model in an RV Resort. You will experience the camping atmosphere except with all the modern conveniences of home.

Other things to note
Bryn Mawr is a pet friendly community. There are dog walks and plenty of room at the beach for long walks. The trailer however is very small. We do not allow any dogs over 25 lbs and will require $10 per day per dog (two max) for your small well behaved dog's stay.

Our other two side-by-side Cottages are available for groups of up to a total of eight adult guests who want to be in close proximity but also want privacy. Experience one of the most authentically restored century old cottages in the area. Perfect for extended stays or short visits.

The space
Beautifully restored 491 square foot, circa late 1880s vernacular framed house with original heart pine floors and doors, hand hewn jig sawn porch brackets, and terra cotta chimney caps. Completely fenced in yard with brick pathways and outdoor privacy and seating. Furnished with eclectic older pieces and custom made furniture. Small gas stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, Zero water filtration pitcher, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. Minimal dishes and cooking utensils for preparing snacks and small meals.
Please note that the Cottage and the furnishings are small, just as depicted in the photos, including a full size bed and small couch in the living room. If you are looking for a larger bed or a larger lounging couch, the sister Cottage next door at 119 1/2 Kings Ferry Way, may be a better choice.

Guests will have the private use of the small three room, one bedroom and one bath cottage, a shared courtyard space with the adjacent cottage and FREE on site parking.

The Lincoln Street Cottage is the quintessential St. Augustine cottage from circa 1900. Located in Lincolnville, it's a short 5-minute walk to historical downtown St. Augustine and all the bars and restaurants, St. George Street and the Castillo de San Marco. You've found your waterfront oasis tucked under the White Birds of Paradise! This spacious retreat was formerly a commercial art gallery. Two queen beds, one full bathroom & full kitchen make for comfortable living! You have a fenced path leading you down to the beautiful waters of Salt Run where a rooftop deck & salt water in-ground pool invites you to relax and slow down. Less than a mile to downtown St. Augustine, a little over a mile to the Amphitheater and about 3 miles to the beach.

The space
Downstairs you have a combined living space with a queen bed, L-shaped couch, and kitchen with bar seating. The kitchen has a two-burner gas stovetop, full-sized retro fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, toaster & kettle.

Upstairs you have an A-frame hideaway! A comfortable queen bed, 2 office desks for remote working, and a bookshelf stocked with books and games for those (rare) rainy days. A dedicated, separate entrance to the upstairs bedroom makes it convenient for two couples.

You have a fenced path leading you down to the beautiful waters of Salt Run. Make your way up to the rooftop deck for sunshine and incredible views while catching that awesome ocean breeze.

Time for a swim? In front of the waterside rooftop deck you'll find a large 15'x30' saltwater swimming pool. The pool has a large shallow-depth ledge perfect for relaxing or enjoying a book. The pool is available year-round & heated to 80-82 degrees.

The pool and rooftop deck are shared with one other vacation rental on this large property (more on that below).

Only a few blocks away, you have a full-service marina with many fishing charters and boat tour options.

Perfectly situated on a dead-end street just off the main boulevard. You are less than a mile to downtown St. Augustine, just a little over a mile to the Amphitheater, and about 3 miles to St. Augustine Beach. Additional nearby attractions include the Alligator Farm and St. Augustine Lighthouse, both within walking/biking distance or a very short drive.

Ready for the beach? Four nice quality beach chairs are provided with armrests and lay-flat functionality.

Parking is not an issue with two dedicated off-street parking spaces and fast wifi makes it easy to stay connected.

Washer & dryer is available for guests staying 4 nights or longer at no additional cost.

This is a large property spanning almost a 1/2 acre. There are three separate buildings on the property. Each building has its own dedicated parking, private entrance and share no common walls. The waterfront rooftop deck & pool is shared between all. There is a photo that gives a satellite view of the property layout.

The heated pool temperature will be 80-82 degrees. The pool heater cannot function when outside temperature drops below 48 degrees. Therefore during cold fronts the water may drop below our set temperature until the heater can kick back on.

Property quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am and pool hours are sunrise to sunset.

The dock that can be seen in the background of some photos is our neighbors. Dock access is not available for guests.
