- "Our stay was nap thing but a disappointment. We had to call to get the code and unit number and even while I was there I till got nothing for my check in. When we walk into the room the smell of mildew was overwhelming, we had to open the sliding door, which had to have the screen door removed to even get to the broken sliding door that we could barely slide open. We found that we didn’t have enough towels for the 5 of us (1 bath towel hanging at the time) only to find the 4 towels still unwashed in the washing machine Pile of dirty rugs. The king bed wasn’t made all the way., went to fix it only to find the sheets didn’t fit right and while we slept they kept slipping off. There was mold on plastic shower curtain in the king room, which was missing hangers allowing water to get in the floor. The floors weren’t swept or vacuumed, there were cobweb’s throughout the unit, the tv remote didn’t work and the tv had bad signal and so did the Wi-Fi . Most of the other doors didn’t function properly and the AC was so dirty that it barely worked (covered in dust and filth) the only part of the stay was a full disappointment was the pool and the guy at front desk at arrival (seemed to be a maintenance guy) who was really pleasant and helpful."

This is a ground floor apartment in a duplex. The apartment is not wheelchair accessible however. There are 2 steps up to a deck that accesses the main door and sliding glass door.

Guests have the two left hand parking spaces in our driveway. (The driveway should be able to fit four cars, the upstairs apartment has the two right hand spaces.) Access to the apartment is through a gated fence, where there is also a private outdoor shower.

As far as outside space, there is deck off of the living room, perfect for your coffee in the morning, or a cold beverage at the end of the day. At night, you can usually hear the waves. There is also a "beachy" yard (i.e.- not perfectly manicured, but nonetheless, some green space) off the deck that guests have access to. For more outside space, stroll two blocks east and you'll find a big white, sandy beach to roam.

The Apartment in addition to a through cleaning is AIR SANITIZE USING OZONE PRIOR TO GUEST ENTRY. Ozone kills bacteria, mold and inactivates viruses.

The Apartment is atop a detached garage. It has private access via a courtyard. The Apartment has a balcony which overlooks a pool and the relaxed feeling of being wrapped in hugh decades old magnificent oak trees is incredible.
All ground level is shared space. We do our best to maximize your privacy but we need access for our daily chores.

We also offer a microwave however it is located downstairs and not in the Apt. It is our desire that the Apartment remain clean, and both allergy and odor free. Please NOTE the SPA” may” not be heated after June 27,2025. We will honor guests who made bookings prior to the above date. If after June 27 and if the SPA is of great importance to your booking please inquire its availability PRIOR to booking. The SPA requires manual settings / operation and there may be times ( generally exceptions) we are traveling and thus the SPA would not be available. Thank you.

We have two very friendly German Shepherds. They love guests but if dogs are an issue you should not stay with us. We do our best to avoid interaction but no guarantees:-))))
