This 2nd floor apartment is nestled under oaks on a quiet cobblestone street in downtown Winter Park. There are only 3 units on the property, which helps to evoke a quiet, serene atmosphere. When you are ready to explore, Park Ave is only a block away and literally visible from your front door. Shops, bars and restaurants are within a 3 minute stroll. The famous Saturday morning Farmers Market , Rollins College and the Scenic Boat Tour are all within a fifteen minute walk. The Beaches and Theme Parks are easily accessed via the interstates.

- "I just want everyone to be properly prepared for the rental. The location is excellent you walk one block to park ave where all the shopping and restaurants are located First of all when you arrive university beautiful area but the property itself is a much older 1960s building there is some issues with parking, very very tight space and limited to one spot. there is some safety issues with a retaining wall at the front of the property that's collapsing so if you have children be careful. THE NEIGHBORHOOD: excellent THE PROPERTY: very old complex dates with some safety issue at front of the property will a collapsing wall. THE UNIT: on the second floor, overall small two bedroom furnished with very outdated 1970 furniture and green color. BEDROOM:Bedding is excellent with one master with a queen bed and one d Bedroom with two single beds for kids. KITCHEN:: updated and modern with EVERY AMENITY AND COOKING UTENSILS REQUIRED😊. Well stocked!! BATHROOM: updated small well stocked with excellent hair products shampoo conditioner hairdryer and curling iron😊 LINEN AND TOWELS: well stocked. Overall I enjoyed my stay I did not use the kitchen please be aware the door on the refrigerator is very flimsy and doesn't close properly so please be cognizant of this the owner furnishes and supplies you with excellent products I was pleasantly surprised. Overall as I stated an excellent stay but very disappointed in the quality of the furniture and the appearance of the complex"

Beautiful Acacia wood flooring, with marble in the bathrooms and porcelain tile in the kitchen. Quartz countertops, ceilings are 10 feet high and there is a balcony with two sliding glass doors going to it from the master bedroom and living/family room. Very open floor plan. There is 1114 square feet of space inside, but it feels larger than that. Beautiful furnishings including an Italian leather couch. Large TV in the living room with the fastest WiFi available in the area - Hulu is programmed into the TV as the source for live TV. It is an upstairs apartment, top floor, 2. Shared with nine other apartments is a beautiful heated salt water pool, hot tub and grilling station. The apartment comes with one dedicated parking space right at the base of the stairs and there are plenty of additional spaces in the rear parking lot.

- "My husband and I spent a month on the property working remotely and visiting with family. The condo is small but we were able to find places for each to work. We did have some issues with spotty WiFi connections and the host responded quickly but never was able to resolve the issue. The location was within walking distance to many restaurants and bars as well as a handy mall with grocery shopping. Other tenants were friendly and had small dogs like ours so felt right at home. Complete privacy. As private as you can get on AirBNB other than renting a whole house and also the value. Closest hotel can charge up to $400 a night, but the best unique feature is the great location. Again this is a very tight efficiency but it is private.

Restaurants, bars, yoga studio across street is one of the best, shopping on a "European" style old street and a natural real florida park at end of street with a tranquil stream and swamp lagoon. Watch out for alligators! LOL

During your stay
I try and meet guests or have someone meet them on my behalf to get the guest settled. Beyond that my philosophy is to leave guests to themselves. That's how I like it. Privacy. Come and go as you like, day and night. You won't bother anyone. Should you see me out front on the top floor scenic patio that is a common area, by all means say hello. I love a chat and love to suggest activities. Sometimes I slide suggestions under the door as guests may not know of a specific event such as the farmers market on Saturdays which is not to be missed, etc. I also occasionally slide the morning newspaper under the door when I am done with it. Also, if a guest needs anything at all, just ask and we are happy to do what we can. Other than that I offer complete privacy.

Cozy 1/2 of a duplex connected to a gorgeous heated pool area with hot tub and grill station in walkable downtown Winter Park! Just two blocks from bustling Park Avenue and all it's shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, Central Park, and Winter Park Station which serves both the SunRail and Amtrak trains.( Hornless train operation here in Central Florida, so no noise from that!) The Morse Museum, Scenic Boat Tours and Rollins College are all within easy walking distance! Bikes available for you!!!

The space
There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. There is laminate flooring in the living room and smaller bedroom, the rest of the interior has tile flooring with some throw carpets around the master bed. The walk-in closet in the master used to be the front entryway. Now it has shelving and cloths hanging rods on one side and a modern desk with plenty of power sockets and USB ports on the other.

We keep it freshly painted and the appliances were purchased new and installed in Spring 2022.

There is an outside tall table with two tall chairs just outside the new front door near the washer/dryer shed. The washer/dryer are front loaders and stacked. They are large with high capacity.

From the outdoor table area there is a vinyl fence gate that leads to a small grass backyard that is shared with the other half of the duplex and across it is another gate that leads to the pool area. There, you will find a nice heated pool, grill station and tables, chairs and lounges for relaxation and eating outdoor.
