These are items you shouldn’t have to bring or buy unless you’re excessive, especially when you’re paying so much per night. 3) The master bathroom had a small open-shelf cabinet above the toilet that had seen much better days. It had obviously fallen apart at some point and instead of replacing, it was just repaired with visible L-brackets that make you question the quality of everything in the room. 4) Small patches of mold in the caulking in the shower. It’s a quick job to just remove and replace the caulk. 5) The supplied towels were very cheap. They weren’t absorbent and you would wind up with tiny fuzz all over your body after drying off. These are all very minor and fixable details but when put together, they give a less memorable experience. "

This very private studio apartment is on Anastasia Island, with its own entrance across the street to Anastasia State Park, which includes the St. Augustine Amphitheater in a quiet, friendly beach neighborhood. This ideal location is quite literally "a walk in the park" to a beautiful undeveloped Florida beach; or a 10 minute drive across the famous Bridge of Lions to historic downtown St. Augustine – with quick access to the many local attractions and great restaurants in the area.

Formerly an artist’s studio, the ground floor (of this 3 story home) has been converted into a spacious, pleasantly peaceful, charming, and artistic environment – romantic in nature, stylishly furnished with TLC.

Enter through your own private sliding glass door entrance to a cozy retreat from the side and back garden patios. Features include a large comfortable couch, king-size Sleep Number bed, multi-use fold-out table, full size closet with lots of hangers to unpack your belongings, an ironing board and iron and an extra blanket. You will also have access to a full size washer and dryer when needed.

The small kitchenette does not include a stove or oven, but does include a mini refrigerator with separate freezer – stocked with water, a Mr. Coffee machine as well as a Keurig with assortment of coffees and teas and creamers, a small microwave, an electric skillet, an electric crock pot, a food steamer, dishes and silverware.

Enjoy a good size shower with adjustable shower head, in a bathroom with a custom stained glass window, lots of towels, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, tooth brushes, tooth paste, (and anything else you may have forgotten), and a good size one-of-a-kind cabinet for clothes or incidentals.

Wi-Fi and TV includes all networks, HBO, Showtime, MAX, and other movie channels – with an ability to record your favorites while you are sight-seeing or on the beach!

The back garden area includes lounge chairs and a table with chairs for relaxing in the sun or having coffee or meal outdoors.

There is a private entrance to a studio apartment through the back yard. Guests over the age of 12 years old have access to the back yard patio garden which includes a table with four chairs plus patio lounging chairs. Guests also have access to the laundry room which includes beach gear. Parking is also provided.

CLEANING ROUTINE: You may have noticed that guests usually comment on how clean my space is. And even though I do this routine at all times, you may want to know my process.

The space is ventilated both before and after I clean. After ventilating, I clean the space thoroughly, and then use either a Clorox or Lysol spray cleaner to clean ALL top, bottom and side surfaces including: sinks, the shower, the toilet, tables, counters, cabinets, light switch plates, door handles, the refrigerator inside and out, and all other appliances, etc. – anything that could be touched – all sprayed and wiped off with paper towels that are disposed of immediately.

All rugs, bed linen, bedspreads, blankets, mattress covers, pillows, decorative pillow covers, towels, wash cloths, etc. are washed with soap and hot water between EVERY guest visit.

The vacuum cleaner is emptied after every cleaning. Mops are machine-washed with hot water after every cleaning between every guest visit.

The trash can and basket have trash bag liners.

Trash from cleaning is put into a plastic trash bag, tied off and disposed of immediately after cleaning.

And hands are washed immediately and often.

Forget about stairs and elevators while you're here -- you can just stroll up to your front door, and slip out anytime for a quick dip in the pool, soak in the spa or game on the court. If you're traveling with children, you'll love the convenience. And if anyone in your group has accessibility issues, the accommodations couldn't be better!

Start your days on the patio outside our living and dining area. Here you can enjoy the balmy air, salty breezes, and the sound of the surf . . . all while enjoying free WiFi for your smartphone or laptop! Cradle a cup of coffee while pelicans soar overhead on their way to the ocean, early fishermen stroll over to the nearby ponds and docks to try their luck, and another perfect Florida day breaks.

If you wake up especially early one morning, you will witness the breathtaking sunrise. And the beach is always smooth and new in the morning, with shells half-buried at the high-tide mark. Walk down your private boardwalk onto the sands and enjoy!

You'll want to spend all day on the patio, but when it's time to go indoors, you won't be disappointed. It's so cool, light, and comfortable in here, with ceiling fans and tiled floors. Enjoy a show on TV, pop a disk into the DVD player, or stretch out on the long couch (which converts to a bed) for a nap. After all, you're on vacation, and relaxation is the only order of business!

At Ocean & Racquet 3107, you can make the condo as communal or as private as you like. When you're entertaining, throw open the sliding glass door, connecting your space with the pool surround outside. When it's time for privacy, just close the blinds and the world goes away!

Attached to the living room is the dining area, with a big table for 6 and a counter handy for buffet-style meals. This table is also a great place to spread out a jigsaw puzzle or a board game, crayons and paper for the kids and the Sunday papers for the grown-ups!

Whether you want to cook delicious fresh seafood, homemade feasts, or as little as possible during your vacation, you'll enjoy the kitchen at Ocean & Racquet 3107. It's fully stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils, as well as all the appliances -- large and small! -- which make your time in the kitchen easier. Everything is sparkling clean and in perfect working order.

Speaking of making your time easier, there are also a washer and dryer in the condo, so pack light! You never have to worry about "just one more" trip to the beach or the pool when you know you can get the swimsuits and towels dry in a flash. Pop a load in the wash on your way out the door in the morning, and you'll be all fixed up!

But the best part of Ocean & Racquet 3107 is probably the bedrooms. Relaxation and sound sleep are so important on vacation, and so hard to get in noisy hotels or motels. Here you'll sleep peacefully in comfortable beds and spacious rooms!

The primary suite is luxurious, with a queen-sized bed, TV, and plenty of space. The en suite bath has both a shower and tub option and is wonderfully private. Retire early and sleep late in your own sanctuary!

The second bedroom is perfect for children or a second couple traveling with you, with 2 twin beds. It's convenient to the second full bathroom. All linens, pillows, blankets, and towel sets are provided for this condo.

You will love the gated Ocean & Racquet Club resort, with its multiple swimming pools and tennis courts, plus shuffleboard, racquetball, Jacuzzi, and so much more. Make it your home base for all your St. Augustine adventures!
