* Ensure the deadbolt fully turns before pulling on the door handle to avoid damage to the lock.

* A security stick is available for the sliding glass door to prevent it from being opened from the outside. Please use it before sleeping or leaving the house.

* Outdoor chair cushions are stored in the deck box in the sunroom. Please bring them inside after use, as falling leaves, seeds, and moss from trees can damage the fabric.

Two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa, screened-in patio, designated parking in front of the unit, just steps away from the front door, all on one floor.

The house is part of the Saint Augustine Beach and Tennis Condominiums which is an oceanfront complex located in Saint Augustine Beach on Anastasia Island. This house is not oceanfront but only a short boardwalk away from the ocean. You have the advantage of not paying for an oceanfront condominium but you can use all the facilities that come with the complex.

For example the gated private complex pool is right behind the dunes. It is as if you have your own beach club with two pools - one eight-feet deep, one lap pool, with shower and restrooms. You can spend your day at the pool or just walk a short distance over the walkway to the ocean!

Smart Lock Keyless Entry- You chose your own code for your rental which is only valid for the duration of your stay. This makes a walk on the beach so much easier without worrying about losing the key. This modern experience will provide you with more safety and security and peace of mind!

- "Each summer my family takes a summer vacation to St. Augustine Beach. This was our second time staying in this beautiful condo at Villas of Ocean Gate. Our stay was just as wonderful as our first time. The condo was very clean, well supplied, and is large; giving our family of 10 plenty of space on 3 separate levels. The condo had everything we needed for a trip to the beach: beach towels, beach chair, beach toys for the little ones, as well as other beach items. I personally love grilling and there was a gas grill available in the garage, which was perfect on thoes evenings that we stayed in and played games. The condo is located just steps from the pool and the pool leads out on a boardwalk to the beach. Everything is close, which is nice when you have little ones. The grounds also include tennis courts by the front gate. The condo is convenient to several good restaurants, Publix and WinnDixie, and miniture golf. The condo host, Rachael, was very nice. - "Beautiful home and amazing pool. Everything is new and super clean. The beds were very comfortable and were regular nice mattresses rather than cheap memory foam beds that are in some rentals. The salt water pool and outdoor area was our absolute favorite! There is even a warm outdoor shower. We will be coming back to visit again as we enjoy the town of St. Augustine and all the good restaurants and history of the town. The home is located on a charming, historical street that is very narrow. Due to this, it can be difficult for larger vehicles such as trucks, large SUV's, etc to turn into or back out of the driveway. If you are traveling in a large vehicle, a pass for the public parking garage, that is 2 blocks away, can be provided. Smaller suv's and sedans should not have any problems. Please inquire for any additional questions.

You will never find somewhere as close to the action in St. Augustine, as well as secluded and quiet, because we are on a dead end street with just a few other homes. We hope you enjoy but ask you to be respectful of our wonderful neighbors.

- "The property was beyond our expectations. Tree lined seats, gated communities, pristine greens. The pool was quiet and clean; towel service provided. I didn't use the pickle ball courts, however there were others at check in requesting pickle ball gear. Bill Murray's Caddyshack themed restaurant is within walking distance, or a very short drive. The condo itself included every detail: we cooked breakfast and had every tool and appliance we needed for a New York Times recipe! The beds were very comfortable, the unit very clean. All in all, I found this condo was a better value than a hotel. I also think it is cleaner and quieter and more comfortable than a hotel. I'm so glad I found this gem when we return to St. Augustine to visit family."

For an easier option, head just 1 mile north to Matanzas Inlet, a quick 2-minute drive. There, you’ll find a more accessible beach entry—and if you have a 4WD vehicle, you can drive directly onto the sand via the Fort Matanzas Beach Ramp.
