This Frame Vernacular Style Home was built in 1918. It is named for Emanuel Martin who was a partner in the Law Firm Martin and Hocker. His family were among the first settlers to Marion County in the 1840s.

This apartment is located inside the famed Kemp House. The Kemp house, circa 1938, is a Tudor Revival home, built for T.J. Kemp an agent for the Sinclair Refining Company during the 1930s. This large residence is noteworthy for its brick detail and half-timbering. Originally a single-family residence, it eventually because a boarding house in the 50s and 60s-renting rooms weekly. Welcome to Rock Haven Farm with our huge oak tree canopied driveway that will stun you. Enjoy the stunning views over our 60-acre horse farm. A quite and tranquil setting, yet just minutes from an I-75 interchange. Located halfway between Ocala and Gainesville, and 90 minutes north of Orlando.

Love animals? We have grandkids so we have animals! ;) Come visit and interact with all our adorable small animals. We have goats, mini donkeys, belted galloway (oreo) cows, and alpacas. And of course since we are a horse farm, we have horses who love carrots and apples and frosted mini wheats. We do not offer horse riding, but we can point you in the right direction if that is your interest.

Also, if your pet sleeps with you, bring your own bedding. If you let your pet on our bedding (sheets, comforter, pillows), you will be charged $225.00 to cover the cost of new bedding. Our cleaning company refuses to pick pet hair out of the bedding as it takes hours, so our only choice is to dispose of it.

We have facilities for horse owners to bring their horses on vacation with them. We have 43 stalls in 2 concrete barns and plenty of pasture turnout available (proof of negative coggins required). The apartment is the entire second floor of the Nash Home. The apartment is about 1,000 square feet contains its own private entrance and foyer, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, and a living room/kitchen.

The private entry/foyer features a desk/workspace, and beautiful antique furniture. follow the gorgeous staircase adorned with chandlers to the rest of the suite.

The master bedroom features a king sized poster bed with topper, closet, ceiling fans, sound machine, smart TV, iron and ironing board along with an extra pillows and blanket.

The master en-suite bathroom features double sinks, a large soaking tub with a rain shower head, and fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
