Large men guests have complimented the space as comfortable like home, including the bed. The Lazy Boy recliners are a big plus. Convenience to everything... Your reserved parking space is very convenient, next to the cottage and spacious for your vehicle, Easy to and from your front door. Enter from either direction. From in front of the house go to stop sign, swing around behind the houses to the lane between streets. Park on rock bed next to cottage. Trailor parking upon request.

UPDATE: The bedding is STRIPPED after each guest. Clean. I am extremely pet friendly. My friend and Professional Carpet Cleaner MAINTAINS the carpet, keeping it clean and new looking, including furniture. So EVERYONE can enjoy a clean and fresh environment

The space
Small bunk house- main area has a daybed it turns into a queen size bed quite comfortable, however when it’s made up into a queen bed it takes up most of the common area living space.

One other private room has a bunk style bed.

Second room has a bunk style bed And a standard single bed.


In all can accommodate four.

The bunk style beds use a stool/ladder to access.

Two bathrooms available.

We happily welcome your dogs. When you tell Airbnb that you have pets Airbnb does not charge you the pet fee - every place has their own individual fee. We would appreciate you paying it to us when you arrive.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Barn apt is roomey and you have 20 acres to stroll around and visit one of the largest Live Oaks in FL

Created in 2024, the comfortable & stylish Suite is a 865 SF fully equipped mini home located between Ocala & Gainesville. The 5 acre farm with magnificent Live Oaks is home to 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 horse & my house. My flowers, vegetables & herb gardens are available for enjoyment. The rural town of Anthony offers 2 eating places, a gas station, & Dollar General. If the hussle & bustle of a city is your desire, the Suite is not for you. But if peace surrounded by nature is - Please join us.

The space
You will enter into the den, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully equipped.
The microwave is in the tall cabinet by the frig.
There's a 12' x 12' outdoor patio through the French doors. Great place for morning coffee and listen to the birds.
There is a 1.5 step up into the bedroom. A king-size bed, chest of drawers, and sitting chair with table by the window is in the bedroom. Saving space was a top priority with the Suite and we utilized 'pocket doors' between most areas .
However, there is a solid door to give privacy in the toilet.
The bathroom has a 'tub/shower". The vanity was made from my husband's grandmother's dresser. Quite the treasure!
Off the bedroom is the 'walk through' closet which lead to the stacked washer and dryer.

I live on 5 acres. You are welcome to browse around outside.
Areas to be careful of are the burn pile and the pasture with the horse in it.
Cooper, the horse, is 24 years old, but still has a lot of spunk. I'd advise petting him through the fence.
Please do not mess with my tractor or area under the pole barn.
My workshop is off limits too, please.

Our sweet cottage is nestled on a 5 acre blueberry farm in the Ocala National Forest. This one bedroom cottage comfortably sleeps 3. We are close to hiking, horse trails, lakes and springs.

The space
Our property is the perfect place to escape the noise and high paced city life. It is peaceful, quiet and beautiful here. We are surrounded by forested camping areas and close enough to drive into town to pick up groceries or get a meal. The cottage has a kitchen, full bathroom, one bedroom with a queen bed and the living area with a couch large enough to make a pallet for a child.

We have a "you pick them" blueberry farm when in season.

Other things to note
There is no door on the bedroom. Because the air condition is in the bedroom it's open aired. Although this is a one bedroom without a door it's not considered a studio because it separate. Just wanted to give you heads up about that. Guests are to set their garbage out as needed so we can pick it up off of the front porch to haul it off.

It's always been our policy to clean/sanitize before & after each guest. Also, our county is safer than most of Florida & the USA. We're in a quiet part of Ocala with only a few neighbors within 100s of feet. We're close to the 200 hub, 1.5 mi from a high school, & on a paved road. So, we're not in the middle of nowhere. The apt is private, no one else lives or can rent in the cottage. Our home is abt 100 feet away (far/close enough for added safety & host assistance).

The space
Nestled on our gated ranch, is a charming 1/1 studio apartment featuring a fully furnished combination bedroom living room, a kitchenette and full bath. Travel down the scenic road and enjoy the sights on your short drive to all of the amenities.

Available for you is a private cozy apartment ready to sleep, feed, and entertain two to four people depending upon the relationship among the guests. For example, 2 parents and 2 children can be accommodated. When booking a reservation, please include anyone sleeping over as a guest. When you are ready to retire for the night, sink into your comfy queen size bed. There is also a double futon bed that converts to a couch or as a chaise couch. Recent additions to the rooms include a lovely wood bureau (chest of drawers) and a portable garment rack, recently installed new carpeting, large stainless steel refrigerator/freezer, and granite top kitchen islands.
For sustenance, continental breakfast items will be provided such as 100% Arabica coffee, whole milk or half and half, decaf coffee upon request, teas, orange juice, soda, bottled water, cereal, popcorn, crackers, and a variety of fresh fruit, cheese, and hard boiled eggs. We also provide fresh baked breakfast items such as muffins, bagels, and/or croissants or scones. Margarine, cream cheese, and preserves are always included as well. Various paper goods and utensils such as microwaveable plates and bowls, plastic silverware, metal utensils, and coffee mugs are provided for your convenience. For longer stays, menu will vary. Feel free to use the refrigerator, microwave, single burner electric hot plate on request, toaster oven, automatic coffee maker, and outdoor Weber charcoal grill (complimentary charcoal). We also have additional cooking appliances such as electric flat griddle and electric skillet which are available upon request. If you are in the mood to grill, grilling utensils are provided. If you prefer to dine outside, there is a patio table with chairs outside the studio apartment. Perfect for a star gazing night. There is also a dinette set for convenient eating (seats four when needed) inside the kitchenette area.
When you're ready to settle down for some entertainment, feel free to make use of the LED wall mounted TV. We are now on Starlink and Roku and offer all the Roku channels provided as well as Netflix.
We offer a full bath with large shower, and a vanity with sink (with storage) located near the bathroom, a 40 gallon independent hot water tank. Our property has natural Rainbow Springs delicious spring fed well water.
To keep you warm (in winter) or cool (in summer), your apartment comes equipped with central air and heat thermostatically controlled. When you want to get some fresh air and enjoy the outside, feel free to relax on the outside chairs provided or sit while you have a cup of coffee at the patio table.

Outside the apartment, our guests have access to the private patio set with umbrella. Feel free to walk or jog the grounds of the ranch. For your convenience, there is plenty of parking just outside the apartment. Guests have 24 hour access to the ranch.

Other things to note
There are great places to visit in Ocala and surrounding areas. A short distance from us is Sholom Park with it's beautiful botanical gardens, winding trails, and huge koi pond, a "must see". Don't miss Silver Springs Park and the Glass Bottom Boat Ride, which is just a few minutes away. Silver Springs State Park is huge and lots to do like renting a canoe or kayak, hiking or biking trails, equestrian rentals.
Silver Springs Park also houses Wild Waters Water Park which is open seasonally.

Heading west of Ocala is Rainbow Springs in Dunnellon. Both Silver Springs and Rainbow Springs offer much to do and see. There is also the Rainbow River for tubing. The Santos Trailhead is a great place to visit for outdoor activities. Santos offers trails for mountain biking, horseback riding, and hiking. The Ocala National Forest is a huge National Forest,offering much to see and do.

Ocala is well known for hosting many world class equestrian events over at the WEC (World Equestrian Center) as well as many other venues such as HITS (Horses In The Sun), OBS (Ocala Breeders Sales), driving events, rodeos, private racing events, to name just a few. There is so much to choose from.
There are also farm tours, ranch tours, Petting Zoo in Ocala for kids, Nature and Wildlife Tours, the Appleton Museum of Art, Downtown Historic Ocala, festivals, concerts, horse drawn carriage rides, Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing, canoeing, kayaking, and so much more!
If you're looking for adventure, how about trying out zip lining, horseback riding, cavern diving. So much to do, the list is endless. Heading north towards Gainesville, you will pass through the Paynes Prairie, state park/preserve. There are two walking trails through the Prairie.
Continuing on to Gainesville, you may find yourself in the historic town of Micanopy. This lovely little town features quaint shops, antiques and "Old Florida" (historical). Don't miss McIntosh, another quaint "Old Florida" historic town with beautiful large Victorian homes and antique shops.
If you are more into the theme park scene, head southeast (about an hour and a quarter) to Orlando and arrive at the home of Mickey Mouse (AKA Disney World). Of course, there are beautiful beaches in three directions to choose from.

Property is situated in quiet neighborhood and sit on canal. Fended on 3 sides- open at water . Country Waterfront Charm for family events or a quiet relaxing getaway. This is a guesthouse located to the rear of the main home. This is a one bedroom home with a dine in kitchen, laundry room, one bathroom and a living room with roll out sleeper sectional.

There is a fire pit to the front of the home with seating area. There is also a basket ball hoop in the driveway.

This is an entire guest house. You will also have access to the backyard but not pool area.

Home has a tankless water heater. Water is from a well and has water filtration system.
