Welcome to The Cottage! A pet friendly, super cute, and quiet studio apartment built in 2016, located above the detached garage behind my house. Pets always stay for free, and no additional cleaning fees are charged.

Private self access is provided so you come and go as you please.

The unit sports a full kitchen, king sized bed, 2 firm king pillows, 2 soft king pillows, 100% cotton sheets and coverlet.

Soap, shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, and dish soap are provided.

The space
The unit is accessed via an exterior door on the south side of the building. This door leads to a small foyer where the entry to the unit is located.

Once inside the unit, you will be in the downstairs area which has an antique buffet cabinet and desk and a stacked washer and dryer located in one of the closets in that space.

Upstairs you will find a small walk-in closet where clothes can be hung and suitcases stored, a bathroom with shower, and a very large open space with kitchen, small dining area, king size bed, and antique chest of drawers.

Trash bins are located on the west side of the detached garage building. Please follow the concrete steps and you will find them.

Guest access
Parking is free and on site. There is dedicated space for the unit located in front of the detached garage. Occasionally, you may find a car parked in the driveway but if you need to head out or get in, please ring the doorbell at the main house and the car will be promptly moved.

Additionally, street parking is free M-F from 3pm to 7am, and all day Sat and Sun.

Other things to note
We are located about 20-30 minutes from Universal Studios and 30-40 minutes from Disney, depending on traffic.

When in Florida, always assume if there is a body of water, there is an alligator (big or small). If you walk your pets anywhere near a lake, please maintain a minimum of 25 feet from the water’s edge. Incidents rarely happen, but I always say better safe than sorry.

You may see a beautiful gray tabby cat named Zoe around the property. She is my indoor/outdoor rescue cat who adopted my mom years ago in Mississippi. She's very friendly and sweet, but also quite a bit shy. If you call her “pretty girl” she may come up to you

The space
Welcome to our charming one-bedroom home unit with a private entrance, perfect for up to 4 guests. The kitchenette, situated under the loft bed offers convenience (please note the area under the loft bed is about 6ft in height). Enjoy free WiFi, Netflix, Prime Video, and Hulu during your stay. The space has a cozy queen bed, and there's an additional full bed and pullout sofa for extra comfort. You'll appreciate being just 15 minutes from the airport and Downtown Orlando, with Disney 30 minutes away and Universal/Sea World just 20 minutes away. Free parking, fresh sheets, and towels are provided for your convenience as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Note that we're next door if you need assistance, but please contact us between 8 am and 10 pm unless it's an emergency. We look forward to hosting you!

-Clear Lake Casa is brought to you by Orlando Epic Rentals, a locally owned and operated company dedicated to delivering exceptional quality. To ensure convenience, we provide a welcome kit of essential amenities such as trash can liners, small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, dish sponge, a roll of paper towels, laundry detergent, 3 toilet paper rolls per bathroom, and facial soap for our guests. For longer stays, we recommend purchasing additional supplies to meet your specific needs.

-No unauthorized parties or events allowed please. Someone may be on property during check in to verify identification.

-Excess noise after 10 pm is against city ordinances and therefore not allowed.

-Kindly be aware that smoking cigarettes or marijuana is prohibited inside the property. Any evidence of smoking will incur a fine of $200 per day.

-The property has outdoor security cameras for your safety and anyone caught breaking these rules will be escorted off the premises without refund and will forfeit their deposit.

-This is a vintage home. While occasional hiccups may occur, our team is on call to address anything quickly and ensure a comfortable stay. Please note that non-working amenities do not constitute a refund.

-Our tropical environment may bring about encounters with critters and insects. While we have monthly pest maintenance, you can help by keeping doors and windows closed and disposing of trash regularly. If you spot a few pests, kindly guide them outside, but if the issue persists, please contact us.

-Please do not leave garbage around the property, the raccoons may tear it open which will result in a $50 cleaning fee.

-A security deposit of $300.00 is required and will be automatically authorized by putting a hold on the credit card 2 days prior to the arrival date.
