Our most luxurious accommodation, the Carriage House is located on the second floor of the site from which it takes its name. The original Carriage House dates to the construction of the main house in 1885. The first floor was for carriage storage and the second floor, an open loft, served as general storage for various items (i.e. hay, spare parts, etc.). In the early 1920s the Carriage House was reconstructed as a living space on its original foundations.

Today's Carriage House is furnished with Renaissance Revival antiques. The large open floor plan provides plenty of room, with a bedroom, living space, TV/DVD and wi-fi, kitchenette and 600 square feet of private veranda where you can enjoy a view of all the gardens of the Magnolia Plantation. This modern 925 sq ft house is just 5 min to Alachua and 3 min to I-75. It's about 20 minutes from the springs and 20 mins from Gainesville FL.
It has central air conditioning and a kitchenette which shares space with my water purification system. This means that when you bathe, shower or brush your teeth you will be doing it with highly purified water. Also means if you are in that area when it is running you will hear it . Room is soundproof and system can be put on standby with a button press

The space
This clean, spacious, central air conditioned, modern one bedroom guesthouse is situated in the countryside about 20 minutes from Gainesville and the area's many gorgeous springs, and beautiful Lake Butler. It is also conveniently located 3 minutes from the I-75 corridor, and about 6 minutes from Alachua and High Springs.

We have recently upgraded our Wi-Fi network with a new modem/router and cat5 cable to an access point which is providing the guesthouse with a more robust and reliable Wi-Fi signal than ever before which is capable of supporting numerous devices simultaneously.

We have also recently upgraded the unit with new flooring and some fresh paint.

There is a king sized brass bed and a dresser with a mirror, plus closet space in the separate bedroom and a large living room furnished with a large modular couch with a sofabed and there is a second couch with another sofabed so we can accommodate up to six persons with three beds. There is also a small dining table and chairs. We are continually maintaining and upgrading the guesthouse and recently added a new set of hotel quality pillows, sheets and towels and also a warm comforter and plenty of blankets.

There is also a dedicated computer desk with a task chair.

There is a private entrance and a private full bath. There is a kitchenette which is well equipped for light cooking and includes a full size fridge, dual burner hotplate, microwave oven, coffeemaker, blender, cookware, dishware, utensils, and has a large utility sink.

The kitchenette is located behind a soundproof wall and shares space with our water purification system which feeds the whole building with highly purified water. The system normally runs once or twice a day for 40 minutes and should not disturb you at all unless you happen to be in the kitchenette while it is running in which case it can be temporarily put on standby if need be with a simple button press.

There is also a 43" WiFi enabled plasma TV with ROKU, with a big home theater sound system, and a DVD player. It may be suitable for light gaming, and has Netflix, YouTube, Pandora, Amazon Prime Video, and all ROKU channels etc . It can be connected to any device with a HDMI port. You can cast to YouTube with your phone and with the ROKU app you can control it all right from your phone.

We prefer not to allow pets but If you really need to bring your pet there will be a $100 pet fee, and of course you agree to be responsible for any messes or damage they may cause additionally.

The space
This property is a historic 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom guest home located near nature trails and parks.

There is not a formal living room, but there is a lounge area in the master bedroom and a fireplace in each of the bedrooms to relax and unwind after a day of exploration.

The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed, a dresser, and a lounge area.

The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a closet, and dresser.

The dining room has a set of 4 chairs and is located in the area outside of the two bedrooms to enjoy meals and conversations together.

The compact kitchen room is equipped with plates, utensils, pots, pans, a counter stove, toaster, microwave and regular coffee maker.

There is a separate in-law suite attached to the home, where a tenant is currently living in. It has its own entrance and all living areas is completely separate from the home.

Cozy, Cozy, Cozy! Is the only word to describe this cottage. You automatically feel relaxed when you enter. Kitchen is complete with everything you need for your extended stay. We leave corn in the cottage for you to feed to our fur babies, buttercup the pet goat, all the baby goats, baby donkey, ponies and cows. They are all just looking forward to meeting you. This cottage is Nestled under the trees in historic McIntosh 2 blocks from the local park and civic center. Just down the street from scenic Orange Lake. A short drive to WEC or Chi University. Ocala & Gainesville are minutes away. The springs are a short drive. Short drive to historic village of Micanopy with eclectic shops and charming restaurants. Visit nearby Cross Creek step back in time at the home of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings author of the Yearling. We are located near Paynes Prairie State preserve park, and Devils Millhopper geological state park perfect for hikers. Just minutes from I-75. Close to the University of Florida and Santa Fe state college home of the Santa Fe Teaching Zoo. Shands hospital. Our cottage is located in close proximity to all this and more it's the perfect place for family and friends visiting students or for sports fans here to watch the games. Make yourself at home you can't feel like a guest when your here because we make you feel like your part of the family. You need something you let us know we want you to be comfortable. Local resturants are hidden gems, Yearling, eagles nest restaurant, Blu Hwy, Pearl's famous barbecue. There is lots to choose from and lots to do and see. This is a quiet, charming village where you can step back in time and relax.

Private driveway to the cottage park right next to the cottage. Very private and secluded spot with a picnic table and Adirondack chairs for enjoying the animals in the pasture and feeding them nibbles. Bring apples and carrots for an extra special treat. The pool is open for guests to access follow sidewalk around to gate to the backyard and follow the stepping stones to the pool. The pool is complete with a grill, and dining table, and plenty of opportunities to lounge by the pool on the sofa. Pool is closed from Nov-April. Hours for swimming 6am-11pm. This is a special relaxing spot enough room for you to do yoga or just meditate and read.

Other things to note
The Huff Cottage is a completely separate space from the main house. Looking for a special place for an extended stay and want to get away and relax this is it. This little cottage has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. and offers 1 bedroom with a queen size bed (sleeps 2) there is a sofa sleeper (can sleep 2) . It has a separate living/dining space with a kitchen table. We have a kitchenette with everything you need to prepare meals and cook. Microwave oven, toaster oven, induction burner with a pots and skillet, Crock pot and air fryer, coffee maker complete with coffee, creamers, and sugar. Regular sized fridge and sink. Separate bathroom with tub/shower combo. All towels, sheets, pillows, shampoo, conditioner, soap are provided. We also have a TV located in the bedroom. Wi-Fi in cottage for guests to use. The pool is easily accessible for our guests. There is a grill and plenty of space to spread out and relax and unwind with sofa area, dining table. Pool is closed from Nov - April. We do have animals that will crow, moo and donkeys will sing. We have 1 mini schnauzer that stay in our house Chanel and a German shepherd dog uma who are very friendly and love to greet our guests. When you arrive they will bark, but will quickly move on to doing something else. We are out back with our animals interacting with them each day feel free to come say hello. Please do not enter the pasture area.

Stay comfortable year-round with central heating and cooling and ceiling fans in both the bedroom and living room. Your dedicated parking space is conveniently located right outside your private entrance — no need to haul bags across a yard! My husband and I park around back and make it a point to be as discreet and respectful of your privacy as possible.

While the kitchenette is equipped for light cooking (think easy breakfasts or cozy evening snacks), please note that there’s no dishwasher — but we’ve got you covered with all the essentials: oven, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, blender, and dishes. Ready to unwind after a day at the springs? The sofa in the living room converts into a comfy full-size bed.

Heads up: The bathtub/shower combo has a high sidewall and no grab rails, which may not be suitable for everyone — please take this into consideration before booking.

The large private king room at Pareners Guesthouse has rustic painted white pine walls and large windows providing lots of light and views. There is a mini fridge, microwave, electric kettle and drip coffee maker for your use. We’ll supply the coffee! It has a private entrance and private bath and sits apart from the main house, connected by a raised paver walkway.

The space
Our guest rooms are located on a rolling 30 acre parcel of land in Northwest Alachua County. There is a pool and basketball court available for your use, as well as a nine hole disc golf course set up about the property. You may access the eastern part of the property via the foot bridge across Pareners Branch Creek. Take a walk in the evening to view the sunset from the hillside.

We have a beautiful 10 foot deep pool, designed to look like a spring, that our guests are welcome to use. It is a shared space among other guests and sometimes family. We’ll supply the lounge chairs and pool towels so you can enjoy the large pool deck, with multiple umbrellas providing plenty of shade, making social distancing easy and comfortable.
There is also a lovely shared furnished covered pavilion with ceiling fans, lights and Wi-Fi, sofas and dining table to enjoy an evening drink and dinner or coffee in the morning. It’s a great place to hang out, even in the rain!

Other things to note
The king room comfortably accommodates two adults. If you have a party of four, please book both bedrooms, one king/one double, (the 2/2 guesthouse or the Grand View Hill House).
There is space on the floor for a maximum of two children on an air mattress. There is a $30 additional charge for each child.

The Camelot Room features a queen size bed and the private bathroom features a walk-in shower. The Camelot Room opens into the breakfast dining area so this room would not recommended for light sleepers or late morning risers.

The Camelot Room overlooks the Sweetwater Courtyard which includes a nice patio with tables, chairs and umbrellas, and is complete with a trickling water fountain. The courtyard also offers a warming fire pit that can be used in the cooler months.

Completed in July 2022, the Cozy Cottage is decorated in a mid century modern style and is separated from the main house by the large outdoor patio. An August Lock makes entry to the Cottage easy at any time with your own unique code. The colorful fabrics and artwork create a fun and welcoming atmosphere whilst the queen-size DreamCloud hybrid memory foam mattress invites restful sleep. A full kitchen with apartment-sized appliances makes the Cozy Cottage a great choice for long-term rentals. The flat screen Roku TV with Guest Mode allows you to login to your own streaming accounts for the duration of your stay and logs you out automatically when you leave.

My husband and I live in the main house. The patio space is shared with us and any guests staying in our other rental (the Sweet Suite) which is adjacent to the main house. We live in a quiet residential neighborhood, so please be mindful of noise when outside on the patio, especially after 10 PM. There is designated parking for the Cozy Cottage on the gravel parking pad to the left of the carport.

Family friendly cottage with an attached salt water pool. Open kitchen with a full size range and stove attached to the living room which also has a futon and a flat-screen TV with Roku. Bedroom has a queen sized bed with a view of the pool and the yard. Bathroom has a large shower. Full sized washer and dryer. Yard has abundant fruit trees, depending on the season. Walking distance to UF, Shands Hospital, a grocery store, First Magnitude Brewery, Depot Park, downtown Gainesville and others.

The space
The Pool House is perfect for couple or up to 4 adults, with 2 adults sleeping on a futon in the living room. The walls are adorned with eclectic art from our international travels.

The salt water pool is ideal for kids or lounging adults. It is approximately 22 feet by 18 feet in size and the depth varies from 3 feet to 6 feet. The pool is completely enclosed in mosquito netting. There is a 3 burner grill available in the pool patio area for outdoor cooking.

The front and back yard has ~30 fruit trees. There will be a map in the Pool House with their locations. There are almost always orange varieties available. Fruit is available directly from the tree depending on the season.

Guest access
The Pool House is attached to the main house by a carport. You'll have full and private use of the Pool House (bedroom, living room, kitchen, utility room with washer and dryer, bathroom with shower).

You'll also have shared use of the patio, fenced in backyard (with children's playsets), and the salt water pool.

Other things to note
Clean electricity is provided by our solar panels on the main house. The house is on an environmentally friendly septic system, so please do not put any strong chemicals down the drains.

The Carriage House is a beautiful, fully furnished apartment with a standing balcony overlooking the koi pond. The Carriage House has our most spacious private kitchen, a full-size living room, and a dining nook with table and chairs. Guests enjoy a large private bathroom with shower and jaccuzzi tub and walk-in closet. This wonderful suite sleeps up to five and features a king-size bed, a twin bed (in the same room), and a queen-size memory foam sofa sleeper in a separate living room.

The Carriage House is located on the second floor above the office, has central A/C with a private thermostat, Wi-Fi, one reserved parking space, and is pet-friendly.
