A beautiful lake front sanctuary on a 548- acre pristine private lake located in Lake County, FL. A great escape for anyone. A wonderful place to relax and regenerate your soul by just lying on the beach that is just feet away from your back door or taking a dip in the swimming area. There are 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, a paddle boat and various life vests in most sizes available on the property for use at your own risk. There is a dock for fishing or you‘re welcome to bring your own boat (note: no boat ramp at this time but we have always been able to launch our boats with no problem using our 4-wheel drive truck and may be able to help you). This beautiful quiet country setting many areas to take a walk. If you are willing to drive 18 minutes to the front entrance of Lake Louisa State Park, they have many amenities that are available for a fee but also have lots of walking trails. You also may enjoy exploring all of the small quaint towns around us, Clermont, Groveland, Tavares, Mt. Dora, Leesburg, Winter Garden to name a few. They all have something to offer including a weekly farmers market and each town has a once-a-month food truck night on different dates and times.

If you are interested in a more active vacation - we are close to Orlando attractions such as Universal Studios, Disney Parks, LEGOLAND, I-Drive shopping, Clermont Olympic Training Center, cycling, world-class golfing and there are numerous Florida springs within driving distance for a day of swimming and snorkeling. Since Clermont sits in the middle of Central Florida, it is about equal distance to the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean only about an hour and a half in either direction to ocean water for a fun day at the beach. Another local hidden gem that is close by is the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive and trails (check hours, currently open weekends, and holidays only) -- rated 3rd nationally for birding alligator watching. Make sure you plan ahead. There are many things to do and see.

You will have the entire camp to yourselves. It has central Air and heating, a BBQ grill for your use and there is an outside firepit so you and your family can enjoy an open fire under the stars and listening to the sound of nature while enjoying some smores (Exception: No fires if there is a fire ban in place by The Florida Forestry Service). There is a back porch undercover for sitting and enjoying your view and there is also a larger Pavilion undercover with tables and chairs for sitting and eating (note: there are plenty of tables and chairs available for your use outside and although we are a non smoking home, we do allow smoking outside but do not throw butts on ground ). We have an on-site washer and dryer for your use and an on-site ice machine that supplies ice for the inside but also comes in handy for filling your coolers for any day trips you may plan. The kitchen has a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, coffee/tea/Keurig maker, air fryer/toaster oven and plenty of cookware/dishes/utensils. We have a welcome basket waiting for you with a few snacks, coffee/tea/water located in the kitchen to get you started until you can acquire what you need from the stores.

We have wireless Internet access, and two Smart televisions that come with all of the streaming programs you might want but you will need to use your own subscriptions for those that cost, there is also free LG live TV in living room and Roku Live TV in master bedroom to watch, along with free steaming apps. like Pluto TV when resting inside. There’s plenty of parking area but none of it is undercover.

We request that you don’t have large parties. However, if you have family in the area and would like to have a small gathering for meals or just relaxing around the lake, we have no objection to this but do ask to you get approval through us and limit it to no more than an additional 6 people. Absolutely no Smoking inside of camp, but it is allowed outside, we just ask you do not throw your butts on the ground.

We do have the camp professionally cleaned and sanitized after every visit.; however, we have left a small amount of cleaning supplies for your use during your stay, along with a broom/dust pan, mop, and vacuum/hand vacuum, just in case you need them. We also leave you with dish soap for dishes (we do not have a dishwasher in home so everything is hand washed) there is also detergent/dryer sheets for washing machine and dryer, and hand soap for the bathroom.

We are offering 1 night free with any 2-week bookings, stay for 12 nights/ 14 days and only pay for 11 nights.

Once the sun sets, the community fire pit is lit to add a relaxing evening experience.

Originally a treehouse nestled into the hundred year old cypress trees, the cozy SMALL cabin is ten steps from the shore of a deep 100 acre sandy bottom pristine spring fed ski lake. The main residence is at the front of the property which I share with my Golden and Sheltie. Other than being a text message away if you need anything, your vacation in the cabin will be very private and peaceful. Fall asleep listening to the hoot owls and wake up staring at the morning sunshine glistening on the water. Get your day started with a cup of coffee at the end of the boat dock before taking the canoe out for a leisurely trip across the lake. Nature photography? Bird watching? Ghost Stories around the firepit in the evening? Fishing? Playing fetch with your dog? Sun Worshiping on the floating dock? Maybe your favorite place will be the hammock! If you are looking for a place close to the theme parks, this isn't it. If you want a relaxing and unique experience away from the tourists and close to nature, the rustic cabin offers a comfortable queen bed, cozy loveseat, side chair, WiFi, Netflix, kitchen with fridge, microwave, dining area, full bathroom with hot shower and cold AC. This is not the Hilton. Please don't book if you are needing granite countertops, plush carpeting, brand new stainless steel appliances or a cabana boy. This is an old rustic cabin in the woods. If you have mobility or allergy issues or have special oxygen needs to breath, please do not book the cabin. Creeky and sloped floorboards. Chipped paint. Jasmine, gardenia, honeysuckle and pollen dust. Mulched and cobblestone path through the trees. Little lizards staring at you from atop the chiminea. I cannot emphasize enough that this cabin is not for everyone. If you enjoyed summer camp as a kid and want to relive those memories, you will enjoy my little piece of heaven.

Need a Private and Quiet Getaway? The Yurt is a perfect glamping hideaway! This luxurious yurt has a fire pit and grill on the deck. Enjoy your evening and watch the Alpacas that live nearby. On weekends in Fall, Winter and Spring, it is not unusual for the Danville Inn to host a wedding, the Yurt is located near the Inn and you may hear some of the celebration, but events end at 10PM. You can inquire before making reservations for Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Check out time is promptly at 11am. Please respect the housekeeping staff and the guests coming in after you.

Currently, the resort fee covers things such as use of a golf cart or jeep and the the Zen experience. There is a $20.00 resort fee if you opt to use the jeeps, golf carts or the Zen Experience.
We have added a country store always open. you can find wax fire logs or real logs that can be used in all of our fire pits. small bags of charcoal, fish food, goat treats and chicken treats. you can find candy, ice cream and microwaveable food. Danville tee shirts, sweatshirts and mugs are available. you can sign a liability release and pay the resort fee for the golf carts. we will be adding items for your convenience. If you have any suggestions for additional items, please let us know.
Smoking on property is permitted we ask that you not smoke inside the Yurt.

VRBO only provides liability insurance for registered guests. Any other guests visiting the property will require special permission and may have additional fees.

During the weekend. It is not unusual for the Danville Inn to host a wedding the Yurt is located adjacent to the Inn and the celebration could be objectionable to a non-wedding guest. We recommend that you inquire before making reservations for Friday, Saturday or Sunday

For your safety and the consideration and privacy of other guests, golf carts should not be used to tour the property after 10 o'clock. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times when in a golf cart. We reserve the right to terminate use of a golf cart at any time.
All vehicles must be operated with care and consideration at 10 mph. We have many animals and guests with children on the property.

The interior of the Yurt is covered in fabric. We asked that they'll be no cooking inside. The odors from cooking could linger for quite some time. There is a grill located on the outside.

The Yurt is a relatively small building and has a corner shower stall. It is important that the shower curtain remain inside the shower base to prevent severe damage to the floor outside the shower.

The Yurt has a Murphy bed with a Select Comfort mattress that is concealed behind the loom. It has handles to pull it down and legs that flip from the mattress side to the floor. If you think you'll have difficulty lowering or raising the Murphy bed, let us know and we will assist.

The Yurt has a large 5-foot diameter skylight and huge windows. When the sun comes up, it brightens the inside of the Yurt. There are no blackout shades only privacy shades.
There are four steps to get to the deck and the entry to the Yurt.

Guest expectations of a condo near Disney are pretty easy to predict. However, it appears that expectations of a treehouse a yurt or a man cave can be a little challenging. My creation may not meet your expectations and I understand that my quirky, fun venues are not for everyone.
I asked that within the first 30 minutes of arrival you review your space to see if it indeed meets your expectations. If it does not, please let me know or just cancel your reservation on Airbnb. I will be glad to give you a complete refund. I cannot expect you to know what my vision was when I built these unique structures. The pictures only tell part of a story. The space directly around the venue that you rented should be orderly, however, if you choose to take the golf cart and venture out on to the farm area, you may find it is in some disarray. Please keep in mind that space is not part of your rental. If you choose not to stay, you will find many hotels along the Lake Mary I4 Corridor, which is about thirty minutes away. There are also many new hotels at SR50 and I95

The address is 232 North Jungle Rd Geneva, FL 32732. We are located 1 mile north of Highway 46 on Jungle Road, you will see the sign for Danville located on the left-hand side or West of Jungle Road. The Yurt is located between the main metal hanger of Danville and the large green and white tent. Continue down the driveway past the main building and on your left-hand side you will see the round Yurt. We will leave the lights on in the parking lot and the door will be open. They key will be located on the small table just inside the door. We ask that you give us a call in the morning when you're up so that we may meet you.

* The home is professionally cleaned and sanitized between each guest. We ensure that our cleaners are committed to the highest standards of cleanliness.

* Access to the cabin involves walking up a single set of stairs. You will be provided with instructions on how to enter the cabin through a private entrance inside the home.

* You are welcome to bring up to two pets. A pet fee of $30/night per pet will be applied after the reservation is confirmed.

* The Cabin is on a spacious 2.5-acre property. There are four other accommodations on the premises where you might encounter other guests. However, the only shared amenities include a playground, dog park, and outdoor firepits.

* Please note that the cabin is supplied with well water, which may exhibit a natural yellowish tint.

* Our home offers a touch of nature where guests might occasionally spot local wildlife, though nothing too wild or alarming. Enjoy the serene surroundings and the gentle company
of nature's creatures! You may see deer, wild birds, etc!
- Please note that in sunny Florida, with beautiful weather and greenery, come humidity and BUGS. (Yes, dare I say it...) These elements are a natural & very common occurrence! We have our property professionally sprayed for pests, but please remember to pack sunscreen and bug spray!

- All guests will be required to send a photo of their ID through messenger once the reservation is confirmed.

- All pets must be mentioned and approved during the booking process. This helps us ensure that our space can comfortably and safely accommodate your furry friend. The pet fee is $30/night per pet (Required before check-in, fee sent through the resolution center)(Maximum of 2 pets). For stays longer than a week, they will be provided a flat rate. Please message us for more details.

- There is absolutely NO smoking and NO drugs allowed inside the home. A fee starting at $500 will be applied if there is any smell or sign of smoking inside the home.

- Early Check in and Late Checkout is available upon request (Depending on availability, not guaranteed) for an additional fee of $25. Please let us know at least 48 hours in advance to try and accommodate you and your family.

- Checkout is by 11am. Any late checkout without permission will be charged a $100 fee. Please respect our checkout hours as our cleaners need the time to prepare our home for the next guests.

- We can accommodate a maximum of 3 guests at any given time. It's for your own comfort and the sanity of our cleaners. If desired, guests may have up to 5 guests with an extra guest fee of $15/night per guest (with permission from host).

- The individual making the reservation must be at least 21 years of age & must be one of the guests staying at the property. No third party bookings allowed, unless otherwise agreed upon in written form. Only the number of guests indicated on the reservation are allowed to stay overnight on-premise, unless otherwise agreed upon in written form.

- You will be assigned a designated parking area and all vehicles must park in the assigned area.

- Please wipe shoes at the door. It is preferred that shoes are removed indoors when possible, so we can keep the place clean for you and the next guests!

- Please respect the neighborhood and neighbors. Be considerate while socializing outdoors after 10pm and before 8am. Also, keep excessive noise to a minimum during this time.

- No parties or events.

- No fireworks of any kind.

- No firearms on property, unless kept locked in vehicle.

- Please no food or drinks on the bed.

- Use grill, hot tub, and hammock at your own risk.

- Decorative items are not for use. Removal or Destruction of any items in the home will be subject to a fine.

- Follow additional guidelines posted within the home. Please take out the trash and dispose properly per instructions upon departure. Report damages immediately.

**We reserve the right to terminate a reservation without refund, and/or pursue monetary fines if guests are found to be in violation of ANY of these rules.
