ALL about the Experience!!!
The cabin is beautiful and super clean! It’s a 14x28 shed that I had made in to a 5 star getaway! It's so peaceful and quiet you really get a good nights rest! You can walk the Peace Path around the property which consists of 5 acres behind a private gate. No one can get in without a code which provides safety and privacy. The white linens are always fresh and allergy free. this Cabin has a huge balcony to see and enjoy the views of nature. Glamping? You have hot water, a huge shower in the cabin and a kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave. No range or oven.

You can enjoy the entire 5 acres. There is a peace you can feel as you walk through the Palms. Relax on the deck and overlook the natural beauty that surrounds us. Absolutely No pets (which includes emotional support animals) or children under 12. The trees are dangerous to touch so just adore their beauty from a distance. We have a free library by the waterfall we invite you to grab a book and relax while listening to the waterfall. Enter the resort through a privacy gate and there are only 2 more cabins. If you want total privacy you can rent all 3! *No Pets Allowed*

While your Hosts live in Main House on this 4 acre site, the Gazebo is totally private, all connected to the dock and main house by boardwalk, with around 350 sq.ft. studio-type, floor plan. Although quieter at nighttime, this is a real working river complete with air boats, crabbers, shrimp boats as well as many recreational boaters. Island is lit at night by string lights but is a true nature lovers dream complete with Cranes, Manatees, Dolphins, Turtles, River Otters, Bald Eagles, Osprey, and Owls.

For boaters, we are very sorry, but we do not have room for additional boats at our dock (due to heavy waves, all boats must use mooring whips), and we only have room for our boats. For this reason, we provide transportation to/from island.

Adorable tiny house style cabin. King sized bed downstairs and a queen in the loft. Located in the Homosassa river RV resort/ Sun Retreats. Walk to community park with, olympic heated pool, beach volleyball, tennis courts, BBQ shared area. It is very centrally located, adjacent to the Crystal river airport and Bicentennial Park. Hunter Beach is 5 minutes away where kayaks can be rented to see the amazing THREE SISTER SPRINGS. It is an amazing experience, but you must be willing to row out to the springs since it is a good 35minutes there and 35minutes back, another way to experience the springs is to, take a pontoon tour that offers that site in its tour. Depending on the time of the year there are plenty of River Charters that offer manatee encounter experiences or simply will provide an assortment of river experiences. As per your stay with us, if you are not a woods person this is not the right place for you. If you however enjoy the sound of the crickets, the chirping of the birds, the view of a full moon, the smell of the woods and in general a nature person, this is an awesome retreat. I personally recommend as a Gulf tour to reach out to River Safaris where they host a nice GULF water tour on boat for $35.00 per person and it is about 3hours long its nice. Plenty of available parking and free trailer storage. Kayaks are available for you to enjoy! Schedule an Airboat or Pontoon Tour departing from The Cove daily. We are on Lake Henderson and have a personal boat ramp and docks to store your boat as well as an Airboat parking lot. Easy access to laundry room, restaurant and plenty of space to roam around!

The cottage has its own private bath with its own 30 gal hot water heater. The cottage is located inside a fenced yard. This fenced yard where the cottage is located. It is very secluded, private, and quiet with 15 ft tall hedges. We also have a nice sitting area outside with a swing facing the garden and horse pasture area.

We do have 2 medium size dogs, 2 small dogs and 2 horses living on the property. The dogs are super friendly and love meeting new people.

She showed us around and gave us the key. NOTE: We never heard any of the resturant traffic our entire stay and the place was packed, as usual. The cabin looks just like the pics in the listing, except even better in person as you see all the extra touches that went into making the cabin so charming. Everything was spotless clean and there were plenty of towels and toiletry items. There was as a Keurig with a nice variety of kcups, which was much appreciated. We had dinner in The Cove Resturant and the ladies at the hostess stand remembered us and greeted us by name. Both Tee and Annie came by where we were sitting, personally welcomed us again and called us by name. Everyone we interacted with made a point to put our name with our face and make all encounters personal. This was much appreciated and acknowledged as sincere, going that extra step that means everything Amazing weekend and we will stay in The Tin Roof again."

This is a cute little Rustic one bedroom stilted house in a quiet neighborhood on the Withlacoochee River. It has a large backyard and a small dock. There is a public boat ramp about 1.4 miles down the road. There are kayaks for you to use. You may use the neighbor's beach to launch the kayaks more easily.

For other family fun: a pool table, corn hole, ski ball, outdoor jenga, kayaks, jon boat, tire swing, fishing poles, fire pit, hammocks, lots of board games and lego, etc!

**Please note the hurricanes were rough with us this year. We were hoping to make some updates to the cabin but it's been put on hold while we continue to play catch up. Nothing major, just a honey-do list of replacing pantry door, faucets, cracks in some tile, etc. 😊

This private two story rustic water front cabin has a relaxed, authentic, old world nautical flavor. The covered expansive deck is a great place to spend lazy afternoons with the balmy ocean breeze as dolphins swim by. Great fishing right of the boat dock. There are rocking chairs, porch swings, and oversized yard surrounded by water. The property is located on a main channel out to the gulf and Springs. Not a party property, police officer lives next door.

Five year old, clean, nicely appointed, canal front log home on a quiet dead end street. Access to the Chassahowitzka River from private dock with kayaks for your use at own risk. Wooded, privacy fenced back yard and expansive deck with plenty of seating to enjoy the peaceful, natural surroundings. Just a short paddle or boat ride to Seven Sisters Springs and Maggie’s Crack. Very relaxing setting that is surprisingly close to restaurants and shopping.

It is also required guest immediately dispense a provided non chlorine shock daily to help maintain clear water for every guest!

The house has 200mbps internet and basic cable TV package in the living room and master bedroom. Both are smart TVs capable of streaming your favorite shows on your accounts.

The space
Guests arrive at the Chassahowitzka River Campground, where they are greeted and picked up by boat by one of the members of our staff. The boat then takes the guests up river, with a brief nature tour along the way, to reach the cabin. Upon arrival, the member of our staff will give all guests a brief tour and overview of the property.
For the remainder of the trip, guests have the ability to do as they please. On-site staff, present in the event of emergencies, has seperate quarters and will stay out of the way of your party, unless requested otherwise; our staff is very social! Guests are permitted to bring their own boats to the premises, docking available.
Downriver resides the beautiful Seven Sisters Springs, home to caves you can cool off at, swim through, and see lots of wildlife as well. The Chassahowitzka River is also renound for its fantastic fishing and scalloping.
Fishing guides can be purchased locally at an additional cost and pick you and your party up directly from the dock. Private boat shuttles to shore from the cabin (and back) will be available per request for an additional fee. Grocery delivery out to the cabin is also available for an additional fee.
Upon checkout, guests will once again be shuttled back to shore by our on-site staff member.
