I brought my gf here for a surprise trip for her 40th birthday and ended the trip engaged with a beautiful sunset view from the dock and just a couple minutes after she said yes, we saw a dolphin surfacing about 50-75ft off the dock. You could not have timed it better. This place was clean and nearly perfect. The only knock (which isn’t really much of an issue or complaint), but the shower drain backed up and stopped draining one of the days we were there. I texted the owner and got no response whatsoever or even a follow up, which surprised me but wasn’t the end of the world. Luckily we took care of the water backup with the shower drain ourselves and it was fine the rest of our trip so crisis averted. Would definitely stay here again without a doubt!"

The 850sf cottage is on the 2nd floor above the garage in a detached building from the main house. There is a flight of stairs behind the outside door, and another lockable door at the top of the stairs. We are open to longer term stays; please inquire via the message string. Please ask about amenities in our well-equipped kitchen. The master bedroom enjoys an upgraded Nectar queen mattress. Enjoy the plush Turkish cotton bath towels!

The cottage has a private entrance, well-equipped kitchen, full-size fridge, washer/dryer, dishwasher, central heat and air, fast WiFi with enhanced security with automatic VPN, hardwood floors throughout, new living room furniture, a smart TV, assortment of board games for rainy days, plenty of storage/countertop space, and off street parking. The cottage has two bedrooms with a queen in the master, and a twin bed with a desk and reading chair in the small bedroom. We provide YouTube TV (cable substitute), and all the other popular streaming services are available with your logon credentials. Don’t forget to log out before you leave! In addition, the Samsung TV has numerous viewing options.

Off-street parking is generally available in the driveway as the owner uses the rear garage door alley entrance for vehicle access; the owner will advise on the message string should he need the driveway during your stay. A BBQ grill is available for guest use on the back patio; directions are included in the House Manual. Guests are welcome to use the outdoor furniture on the back porch of the house.

We are close to the Tampa Convention Center, MidFlorida Amphitheater, Amalie Arena, Raymond James Stadium, Armiture Works/The Heights Public Market, downtown, Tampa International Airport, Ybor City, Tampa’s downtown Riverwalk, Hyde Park Village, and MacDill AFB. Busch Gardens is about 20 minutes away, and Pinellas County beaches are about 45 minutes away.

- "We were in Tampa for a few days to drop our daughter off at the University of Tampa, so we thought we would try a VRBO rental, since the hotels are very expensive in Tampa The Apartment was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and beautifully furnished. The neighborhood was quiet, clean and safe. I advised the owner, Devin, that I would be arriving late at night. When we arrived there were snacks and drinks waiting for us in the apartment put out by the owner. After a long day of traveling this was a very pleasant and appreciated surprise. Property has a gas grill for use by guests.The property is a farm-like setting with chickens, 2 Nigerian dwarf goats, a Khatadan lamb, a lab mix, a Great Pyrenees, and 3 miniature donkeys. As mentioned, the lakehouse is in back of the main house on the lake shore. You will park in front and walk to the lakehouse. We have a garden cart to help you move your belongings. It's not a long walk.

The property is in a very private, quiet area of Odessa. We are on a dead-end street with very little traffic. The following information should help you to decide if this stay would be for you before you arrive, and are disappointed.

The property does contain THREE houses - the lakehouse, the guesthouse, and the main house (where we live). All have access to the backyard.

I have included photos that illustrate the proximity of the three houses. PLEASE UNDERSTAND: This is NOT an isolated house alone on the lake. Please do not book if this will be a problem for you.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE PET FRIENDLY. We are clean freaks and we clean very thoroughly after each guest, but as pet parents know, those animal hairs are tricky little things and as hard as we try to find them all, we may miss some. Also some larger items (sofas, chairs, decorative pillows, etc.) are not replaced after each guest. Please understand that if you are allergic to animals, don't care for animals, are offended by the occasional pet hair or paw print that might have been missed while cleaning, or in general do not like or are unfamiliar with spaces where animals have been, please do not book with us.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1) We obviously love animals and welcome housebroken dogs and cats with litter boxes. BUT, Please don't book if your dog uses potty pads. We have wood floors. We have not charged a pet fee in the past. Unfortunately not all guests have been courteous in cleaning up after their pets. Our cleaner is charging us an additional fee after stays with pets. To cover this cost, we must add a pet fee to our bookings. So sorry-We tried to avoid this!!!!

2) We love scents and use Wallflower essential oil plugins. If you are allergic or prefer no scent, please let us know and we will remove them before your arrival.

You’ll have the Entire 500sq ft Cottage & private entry, deck/dock, all to yourself. Located on a 37-acre private ski lake. Key-pad entry, private parking. If you value peaceful sunrises and nature, this will be your slice of heaven. We have wildlife, you may see during your visit, cardinals, bluejays, we have endangered eagles that nest next to our property that fish in the lake! There's a bunny that lives in the pineapple patch at the cottage shoreline.

The cottage was designed for the traveler that enjoys feeling like their home away from home. The cottage has 1 King sterns & fosters luxury plush bed with 1000 thread count luxury sheets, blackout curtains, down pillows, for those with sensitivities to scents, I use scent-free laundry detergent. There are 2 USB charging block bedside (bring your charging cord). 1 Queen sofa bed, please ask for extra linens/pillows.

The cottage has a small sized washer/dryer with detergent and basics like cleaning supplies are provided for those longer staying guests. 2 Smart TV’s with prime video (live tv) and wifi.

There is 1 Bathroom stocked with quality products - shampoo/conditioner, face wash, body lotion, hairdryer with attachments, hairspray, small led lite makeup mirror, makeup remover and luxury towels.

The kitchen will be fully stocked to cook providing pots/pans, oils, condiments and spices. If you want something specific, just ask! You'll have an indoor/outdoor smokeless grill, popcorn machine, k-cup/drip coffee machine with creamers and sugar. I provide a gallon of spring water. The lake has bass, we provide fishing poles/tackle box.

You're welcome to rent our water toys as well. We offer 2 Kayaks & 1 Canoe, 2 life vests and 2 paddles for a fee of $50 per 24hr period. Her attention to detail is impeccable, the overall coziness of the cottage , the colors , the decor , the music playing when you check in.. it was all perfect. In addition to that , she remembered that I mentioned it was our anniversary and she wrote the nicest welcome/congratulations card for us and also comped us a bottle of wine ! Too much 😊. Our cottage is located in a private, gated, residential community, and only minutes from the Veterans Expressway and 25 minutes to the Tampa International Airport. Our private shaded streets have a 10 MPH speed limit as they meander through growths of century-old oak trees. Our multi-acre park and 92 acre ski lake offers guests shady grassed areas for picnics, a sandy beach. The park also features a volleyball court, fishing dock, boat ramp, swimming area and horseshoe pits. We also have a fully equipped and fenced children's playground.

The Weekender is a coastal decor bungalow that has been newly renovated. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, blender, griddle, coffee maker/espresso with coffee/espresso provided. A living room with a flat screen TV and Roku, the living room also provides a sofa and room for an air mattress - there is also a wonderful bay window with a window seat. Cozy bedroom, with a queen sized bed. All beds have comfortable high thread sheets. Washer and Dryer are included in your stay. A large patio area and backyard with a fire pit and grill are provided. The lake is a 5 minute walk from our house. Basic toiletries are provided along with blow dryer, straightener, ironing board and iron. Closet space with hangers is provided in the bedroom.

We provide games, hammocks to bring down to the lake to relax, books, outside games, DVD’s, PlayStation and games, and all the cooking utensils you’d need for grilling at our house or at the lake.

We provide a kayak with paddles and life jackets. The kayaks is on a dolly, making it extremely easy to bring it down to the lake.

This very quiet, private lake community is close to the Veterans Highway, Trinity, New Port Richey and approximately 20 minutes from Tampa. We are also close to beaches, Busch Gardens, downtown Tampa and Water Street, and historic Ybor City! We are just a short drive to grocery stores, breweries, and restaurants.

They did a great job of offering privacy. There's a cute lil yard with a deck. Hosts provided Adirondack chairs and hammock. I believe it is pet friendly but we didn't have one. The inside is cute. There's a loveseat and dining table in the common space and a full kitchen as well. The appliances were well thought out. All essentials were provided and I LOVED that for such a unique space it also had a full size laundry room. Bonus! Comfy bed, truly Hot water, decent water pressure and very Clean...you really can't go wrong closing this lil gem. The hosts were so nice and accommodating. I would absolutely rent again if ever back in the area. Five star all the way."

Close by is access to fishing on the Gandy bridge, catch a sunset on Picnic Island beach park, get in a walk/run on Bayshore Blvd enjoy lunch at the restaurant at Ballast Point pier, and if you’re military you have access to MacDill Airforce Base!

They charged me a fee for canceling my first ever booking because they sneak in this feature that double book people and then wanted to charge me $200 for canceling that technical error. we are new to this and put so much love into our home i can’t believe this

Welcome to my little cottage in the city. The house was built in 1926 but has been fully remodeled with modern style, while keeping the charm of an older home. Even though it's close to everything Tampa has to offer, it still has the feeling of that little, quiet neighborhood near the river. This is my get away home. I love the front porch to sit on with a cold beverage and watch neighbors stroll by walking their dogs. The river park is very close by which is a nice walk from the cottage.

You'll find 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms (one has shower, no tub). Smart TVs in the bedrooms and living room. Strong wifi. Fully-equipped kitchen. Outside seating on the front and back porches and at the table beside the house. Parking. Quiet neighborhood but close to everything.

You'll have access to the entire house and yard.

Please remember that this is a quiet, friendly neighborhood. Please be a good neighbor. Its an older bungalow, it has creaks , gets warm sometimes (has central air but I also put in a window air conditioner) and is just in a wonderful neighborhood.
