- "Visited Manasota Key on past trips and have come to love the area. Found Casa Mojit and gave it a shot. Priot to booking, reached out with a question which was promplty answered and I booked. Upon arrival, we were provided with a code to the door and were off to a great start. All the necessities were provided which helped with packaging. We did some shopping locally for some snacks, light meals, beverages and cocktails. Lots of great restaurants nearby which if you want are within walking distance or a short drive away. One of the great things about this place is the location. If you walk out and walk about .1 miles to the right, you are at the Gulf Of Mexico. If you walk to the left a slightly shorter distance, you are at Lemon Bay. If you walk to the other side of the Property down Friendship Lane at toward Lemon Bay, there are a few Benches to watch the sunrise over Lemon Bay as you sip your coffee. If you go towards the Gulf at sunset, you can grab a beach chair along with your favorite cocktail and enjoy the sunset. The property had all your beach essentials (chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, boogie boards, a coller.) One of the highlights was sifting through the beach sand looking for fossilized shark teeth which kept us busy part of the time. Another thing I loved was the access to the kayaks on the property. I went on a sunrise kayak and enjoys view. Overall a great place to stay. It did have a musty smell at first, but not horroble."

Our neat and tidy Kottage on the Key is a practically new guest house on Lemon Bay just steps from our private beach perfect for 1 or 2 people. Located on a private road, this bungalow offers a relaxing getaway with access to the bay or the beach. Bring your kayak to put in at our private launch . Pets are welcome too! Manasota Key offers an "Old Florida" experience with no hi-rises and limited traffic. There are no traffic lights on this hidden gem of an island. There are five restaurants on Manasota Key including casual waterfront Tiki Bar dining and more formal dining with spectacular Gulf views. Manasota Key is primarily residential. In addition to restaurants, the commercial on this quaint Key includes a convenience store, gift shop, boat and kayak rentals, bait store and take out pizza. Across the bridge on the mainland there are many easily accessible pharmacies, department stores, supermarkets, fast food, office supply and many other conveniences.

Manasota Key beaches are known for their abundance of tropical shells and sharks' teeth. Our beach is back!! The beach nourishment project is finished and we now have a beach bigger than we've ever had!

Our cleaning staff has taken extra measures to make sure our place is clean and disinfected for our guests.

Well behaved pets welcome to stay for additional fee. One average size pet. Possibly two small pets but please inquire first before reserving. $20. per night pet fee.

Located just 5 minutes from Englewood Beach/Manasota Key

Due to the Hurricane in 2022, some Trees in the front yard have been removed, as well as the loss of some landscaping in the backyard. The lattice has also been removed under the sitting area/pergola. New exterior paint, and new outside chairs. Otherwise, photos show accurate descriptions of the property.

During High Season, I only rent the months of January, February and March consecutively. There is a minimum of the total number of nights during these three months. If your dates are not going through, or you are incurring an issue with the automatic quotes indicating your dates are not available, please feel free to contact me as I am aware at times the system is not always accurate.

This cute, newly tiled home has a lot to offer!! Updated appliances in Kitchen, and an updated bathroom. Home has a master bedroom and a second room equipped with a sleeper sofa and TV entertainment area. This room can also be utilized as an extra bedroom with its own private bathroom. Banana, Fig trees & Mangos in the backyard! Be sure to pick some off to enjoy! (Seasonal)

5 minutes to boat ramp. One mile to Hospital and shopping. Spring training baseball 15 minutes, Mall 20 minutes. Small town feel, but with everything you need or want.

Two Beach Cruisers for your use! Enjoy a quick bike ride to the Beach from the house but don't forget a bucket to grab some sharks teeth, they are plentiful!!! Or take out the 1 person kayak for some water fun! After seeing the beautiful sunsets on the beach, come back to a relaxing evening by the firepit & lit tiki torches! --- I also have coolers, a beach cart, beach chairs, beach umbrellas and beach tent for your use as well.

There are some GREAT restaurants on the Beach. The White Elephant, Lighthouse Grille at Stump Pass and The Sand Bar, formerly known as Flounders, are some of my favorites.

- "This home was a wonder to stay in. Everything u could possibly need was available. The outdoor showers were so handy after the beach! The laundry, the porches, the everything was great! They provided such wonderful instructions, it answered all questions for before, during, and after stay. I can’t wait to return and stay longer next time! We were able to put the bags down and walk a few blocks to the beach. We loved the location, so safe and quiet, just minutes away from the beach which allowed us to walk back and forth with ease. The added beach amenities were amazing, from the carts, to the chairs, umbrellas, shark tooth hunting tools, boogie boards, bikes, kayaks- Jen and Eddie thought of every last detail to make going to the beach fun and easy! We really loved that there were so many kitchen items that really helped cooking for 17 people so much easier- it was also so handy having the little kitchen items like lunch baggies and foil, very impressive touches. We also all loved the outdoor shower- it made it so handy to get clean after a day at the beach. We used the BBQ area every night and utilized the screened in porches and outdoor seating. Everyone slept very comfortable in the nice beds. It was an added bonus to have laundry access right there at the house. The kids looked forward to boogie boarding each night at sunset in the warm waters of the Gulf We felt so welcomed right away and Jen and Eddie were very fast to respond to messages. Unique vacation property. Adorable duplex located on a deep water canal with no bridges to Lemon Bay. Each unit offers 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. Over 900 square feet each side. Rent one unit for yourself and the other side for extended family and friends. Shared pool and grilling area. Pool heated during winter season(January-March). The Starfish Cottage opens to the pool with a limited canal view. This unit offers a queen bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen and inside laundry room. Shared outdoor area with multiple seating for grilling with a Weber gas grill. Driveway parking for our guests. Large side yard with locking gate for boat and trailer parking. Our dock comfortably accommodates two 22 ft boats. One boat dockage per cottage. Quiet neighborhood. 4 miles to the beaches of Manasota Key and 13 miles to Boca Grande, Tarpon fishing capital of the world. Enjoy taking in a baseball game at Charlotte Sports Park, 14 miles from our home. This sports park is the Spring Training center for the Tampa Bay Rays and the minor league Charlotte Stone Crabs. Lemon Bay Cottage is a very cozy and private cottage in Historic Olde Englewood Village. It is located across the street from Lemon Bay. One block from art galleries, shops, quaint restaurants, live music, & farmers market. 2 miles from the Gulf Beaches.

Olde Englewood is a small town provides a sense of belonging for folks. It is walking distance to Dearborn Street which is the center of community events/activities. There is never a dull moment on Dearborn Street. These activities include Pioneer Plaza for live music, farmer's market, coffee shops, restaurants, car shows, art shows, Lemon Bay Playhouse, and plenty of shopping. The Cottage is next door to the Sculpture Park & Cherokee Park is just across the street on Lemon Bay. It has two piers for fishing, sunsets, and a kayak launch. Indian Mound Park is three blocks from the Cottage and has piers and a boat launch. The public beaches are 2.5 miles away. We provide amenities such as Kayaks, Bikes, Beach Chairs, Cooler, & Gas Grill.

The Piping Plover is your cozy nest on Manasota Key! Part of the Shorebirds Beach Cottages property, this two bedroom/one bath cottage offers a king bed, queen bed, with luxurious linens and comfy mattresses, plus a sleeper sofa in the living room. The large kitchen has all you need to create delicious meals from local fresh fish and farmer's markets. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on your private screened porch or hang out in our lush tropical backyard garden. In the evening, take a quick stroll to awe at the most dramatic sunsets, found only on this side of the gulf!

This newly renovated cottage is just a 3 minute walk to the Gulf waters and shell strewn beach, conveniently paved all the way to the sand. To get you there with ease, we provide a beach cart, chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella for your day at the beach. Other beach items available like boogie boards, noodles, sand toys, and coolers.

Explore the key on one of our (adult-sized) beach bicycles or venture out on a Paddleboard or Kayak, all available to our Shorebirds registered guests. We even have wheels to easily get the kayak to the launch, just a 5 minute walk away.

Relax in our tropical backyard oasis by one of our wood or gas burning fire pits, great for gathering and meeting your neighbors. We have BBQ grills, laundry, and outdoor showers.

This cottage offers other conveniences such as: a contactless, private entry. Microwave, Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, ice maker. Free Wi-Fi. A cable connected 50” Smart TV is in the living room and 36” TV’s in each bedroom to watch live programming or to view shows using your favorite streaming apps.

Enjoy our island culinary delights at one of our local restaurants where you likely to find live music most days of the week......only a 15 minute walk, 8 minute bicycle ride, or take a ride on Stumpy's Free Ride, our island golf cart service.

- "This property was super clean, neat, and well taken care of. Really enjoyed our time there." - "We recently had a family gathering at Manasota Key, Shorebird was beyond perfect for our group of 17. The accommodations were perfect, everything was clean and the property was well equipped with beach items, boogie boards, shark tooth searching tools, umbrellas, chairs, bikes, kayaks, etc. Jen and Eddie made us feel so welcomed! We loved that there were plenty of kitchen items to prepare meals, that was very handy especially feeding 17 people! We loved using the BBQ area each night and between the patio and enclosed patio we had plenty of room for everyone to find a spot. We all utilized the outdoor showers, and loved the shower that had its own private area, with shampoo and conditioner. It was also an added luxury to have washer and dryer access, so handy, again Jen and Eddie went above and beyond and had detergent available. The location exceeded all expectations, it was such a quick walk to the beach, we went back and forth many times a day. The kids loved boogie boarding each night as the sunset, such a fun experience for them in the warm waters of the Gulf. So many added touches that really helped make us feel at home, and so many thing’s available in the kitchen that were so helpful for our stay. We came from California, so having all those small things like lunch baggies and foil was amazing. Thank you so much Jen and Eddie! Loved your home and all the great things you have done to make it feel so welcoming and comfortable!"

This tiny home is designed to be small but extremely utilitarian. Includes a large queen bed with a top rated memory foam mattress. Below the bed, you will find two large storage rollouts for your clothes or other personal items. The headboard has a shelf to charge your electronic devices or for books and other things.
Compact and easy to use kitchen with roomy fridge and freezer combo, deep stainless steel sink, and large four burner induction cook top all mounted on a solid quartz countertops!
The living room has a large Roku TV mounted on the wall that swivels to your desired location, wall mounted entertainment center with plenty of storage and included games!
The bathroom has a fully tiled walk-in shower, pedestal sink with large mirror, and plenty of lighting!
Take off for a walk to Historic Dearborn St. Watch sunset from the dock at Indian Mound Park overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Gulf!
