The Angler is a quaint coastal freestanding beach cottage only steps away from the sand! The cottage was built in the '50s and though it has been renovated, it still holds that great Florida charm with beautiful wooden ceilings and built-in cabinets!

Kitchen: Eat-in full kitchen equipped with a refrigerator/freezer combo, electric stove/oven, microwave, blender, and drip coffee maker. Basic dishes and utensils are also provided. Basic spices and cooking oil are not always available.

Living Area: Cozy living area with comfy seating, Queen sleeper sofa, ceiling fan, and a TV.

Bedrooms #1 & #2: Each bedroom has a Queen bed, ceiling fan, dresser space, and a small TV. All linens are provided.

Bathroom: *Newly renovated!* Full bathroom with sink, toilet, and a standing shower. No tub.

Outdoors: There is a 4 top dining table outside of the cottage in the pool area, from here you can enjoy meals, cocktails, or the beautiful garden. The sand is only 30 steps from this cottage. We have a private beach area that has plenty of loungers. There is also free shared laundry on site. Heated/chilled pool with three relaxing waterfalls, beautiful paver pathways leading you to our private beach area, two grilling areas, painted seawall, and pavilion.
We have frequent guests who come with extended family to celebrate anniversaries, weddings, family reunions, and holidays. Guests can stay in separate cottages but share the outdoor living spaces. Some large groups prefer to rent the entire complex under "Arbors Seaside Cottages Complex"- this way it can sleep up to thirty guests.

*The covered pavilion area is reserved for Beach Lodge guests only.

House Rules:
1. No smoking/vaping in the unit. No illegal substances on the premises.
2. No parties or events.
3. No unauthorized pets. Please notify management of any service animals.
4. You are vacationing in a residential area, please be mindful of noise during all hours. Quiet hours start at 10pm and you must adhere to local noise ordinance.

Renting Requirement Policy: The guest booking the reservation must occupy the unit for the duration of the stay and is required to be 25 years of age minimum. Adults may not rent a unit for anyone under the age of 25, they must be actively present at the rental unit.

Maximum Guest Occupancy Policy: Adherence to occupancy policies and limits is strictly enforced. The guest count may not exceed the maximum guest occupancy at any point in time, including any pre-approved day guests. These policies are in place for your safety and the protection of the vacation home and the vacation rental industry. Violation of these policies may result in immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all monies paid. Please contact management to request a pre-approval for any day guests. Additional guests that will exceed the maximum occupancy will automatically be denied.

Pool Heating: When the pool heater is turned on, the temperature is typically set to 85 degrees unless otherwise stated in the listing. Please understand that when outside temperatures reach 60 degrees or lower a pool heater cannot always heat the pool to temperature.

Pet Policy: We can accept 1-2 small dogs ONLY that weigh 35 pounds or less in this rental. A non-refundable pet fee of $175 + tax per pet is required. Cats are not allowed. Requests for larger dogs must be submitted and approved by management. Pet must be on a leash at all times when outside of the unit; is not allowed onto the furniture, sand, beach, pool area, or pool. Pet must not bother any surrounding guests and pet waste MUST be picked up by the pet owner.

Toiletries: Guests should bring their own toiletries, dishwasher pods, and laundry pods. Each unit will have two rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom, soap for every sink, a trash bag, and at least one roll of paper towels in the kitchen. 2 dishwasher pods and 2 laundry pods are also provided if applicable to the rental. We provide one set of bath towels per guest. For guest convenience, we also provide beach towels.

Parking: This unit has 1 reserved parking space. Guest parking is limited to 1-2 cars on the shuffleboard, first come first serve.

This home is conveniently located down the street from Guilty Sea Sports Pub and VIP Mexican. You will also find the following places within walking distance: JD's Restaurant & Bar, Jimmy Guana's, PJ's Oyster House, Jake's Cantina, Crabby Bills, Pipo N Betty's Bakery, and an Ice Cream shop with over 100 flavors. Also within walking distance are some local beach shops including beach rentals. There is also a CVS and a post office located close to Crabby Bills. For the kids and kids at heart, there's a small waterpark located nearby.

The Florida Gulf Coast is just under 3 miles, where you'll find our world-famous white sandy beaches. Indian Rocks Beach Park is the closest public access with plenty of parking and bathrooms.

"...Nestled in old live oaks and a forest of greenery is the new creation of a small, sweet, serene and quite private cottage; a delightful hideaway, 1 1/2 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. Close to Indian Rocks Beach, Belleair Beach, Clearwater Beach, Indian Shores, Reddington Beach, Reddington Shores and the many others that dot the Pinellas County coastline, including Madeira Beach, Treasure Island Beach, Sunset Beach, St. Pete Beach and Pass-a-Grille Beach!
Owners/Partners Ron and Mike have created a little paradise adjacent to their 1887 Arts n' Crafts home reputed to be the oldest in Largo. This is a two story, five gable/dormer wooden house made of heart of pine which had been countrified by previous owners; we have converted it to its original Arts n' Crafts style. It was moved in the early 1960s to its present location retaining most of its external integrity. Using this as their primary residence for over 30 years, "... they have painstakingly restored this house, inside and out - continually improving, upgrading and designing walkways, patios, and garden areas with imaginative inventiveness..." as stated in a review!
Here are the pictures of what we call our cottage. It is a respectful distance from the rear of our home, connected with a new deck which surrounds two sides of the cottage and the complete back portion of our home.
The "Cottage" is a totally separate building - not connected to the house except by decking. Parking is just 75', a few steps from the cottage over-sized front door.
It was designed and completed in March of 2016 with everything new including: stove, refrigerator, double sink, dishwasher, garbage disposal, granite counter/bar with 1950's swivel stools, complete with a new central air conditioning/heating system including vent to the bathroom thermostat controlled by the guest in residence. With a totally brand-new bathroom - shower - with all fixtures by Moen. Indeed, even all the blinds are brand new. The stackable washer/dryer (used, but excellent) is off the back deck, a few steps from the kitchen back door housed in its own built-in add-on. There are two closets with plenty of hanging/storage space; one next to a granite topped, two large drawer dresser for your convenience. There is a wall mounted flat screen, Smart Television and Wi-Fi via Spectrum/BrightHouse.
As seen in the pictures, there
are two matching, Queen Memory-Foam fold out beds of the most superior quality and comfort level on the market - high end couches which convert to queen beds. These are highly rated as seen in the reviews! One is fully dressed/prepared for relaxing/sleeping and is left in the open position for ease and comfort. The other remains in the closed position for daytime comfort and relaxation. But, with advanced notice (only), can be prepared/used for sleeping as well. This obviously decreases the open space in the room, but we are happy to make this conversion when requested and under conditions we accept. 99% of our guests are couples who share the same bed, and we prefer to keep this arrangement as it follows the intended design and function, we envisioned when we created this space.
As pictured, there is a step up into the bathroom and another
step up into the kitchen area. The bar is on the same main level as is everything else.
We are very proud of what we have designed and constructed and are continually fine tuning, in an attempt to always make it better - continually - in any way we can. We pay attention to details and are always striving to improve.
My heritage is Dutch/English and am true to my roots reputed for fastidious cleanliness and order. Perhaps, on the obsessive side, if this is a prerequisite/quality you seek. And, I will attempt to make everything as comfortable and pleasant for you as possible.

With the views of a golf course, open fields and no neighbors
being located at the end of a "NO OUTLET" street, privacy prevails, and, minimal to no traffic, after 5:00 pm. There is Largo Medical Hospital, The Diagnostic Medical Center, The Eye Institute, The Amish Country Store, The Pinellas Trail (a major county long walking/running/biking path), Brookdale (Pinecrest Place - an upscale retirement condo complex)- all within 2 blocks! There are restaurants, thrift stores, an Ace Hardware, a Publix Supermarket, jewelry stores, gas stations, a veterinarian and so much more within a 1/4-mile walk - including Taylor Park - a wonderful, and very large, lake centered, county park open from morning to night!

Update - As you can imagine, we are constantly making improvements: upgrading, adding more amenities and performing the highest degree of maintenance, not only in the "Cottage", but on the property grounds as well, to attain the highest standards of living conditions and environment for our guests' enjoyment. We have been working with Airbnb since March 9, 2016 and have achieved its best reviews, accolades and awards with Super host status from the beginning. We have decided to add Vrbo as visibility with Airbnb has become a problem they are unable to solve.

I have added new pictures which show the addition of a large flat screen Smart TV wall mounted, 2 real cool ceiling fans, a super kitchen stove exhaust fan, 3 new end tables with drawers (yellow to match the carpet shades), and various storage/organizational components for our longer-term guests. Another item is a water cooler so there will be plenty of cold, or hot H2O for you.
We take this very seriously and encourage you to email us with any concerns, questions or considerations.

The backyard has a little fire pit area and a charcoal grill.
Guests have use of beach chairs, cooler, beach towels and a beach wagon if you feel like walking. Beach parking can be tough to find on busy times.
