Myrtle is German-born and moved to Indian Rocks Beach in 2000 when she married her late husband, Ned. Ned’s grandmother bought the Indian Rocks Beach property in 1946. Ned's father George Hall built the first, two-story building in 1952. The one-story Gulf Cottage followed in 1972. Ned's family lived here in the winter, and spent the summer in Ithaca, NY, where his father was the Golf Coach at Cornell University for over 40 years. Ned followed in his footsteps as a PGA Teaching Professional for over 25 years. He was teaching at the Clearwater Golf Club located in Clearwater, Florida when Myrtle, in Florida on holiday from Germany, met him in 1998. Myrtle and Ned, of course, had their wedding right in front of beautiful Sandy Shores!

Like Ned, Myrtle fell in love with this beautiful property and its rich family history. Ned and Myrtle started to rent out their cottages in 2005 after a complete beautification and enjoyed every minute of sharing this lovely property with their guests. - "This is our second time staying here. It’s the sweetest little house, well-kept and clean! The neighborhood is quiet and the beach is just a short walk away. The kitchen has everything you need. The king bed is comfortable and they recently replaced the washer and dryer. This rental is snug, so it works perfect for two people. The second bedroom sleeps 3-4 (w/ bunk bed) but one bathroom may make it challenging. (PS the shower has excellent water pressure!) There is a large outside space with a covered area for lounging and eating. We have not taken advantage of it b/c we’re typically there in August (way too hot!), but I can see it being a great gathering space in cooler months. Angie is wonderful to work with. Always prompt in her responses and attentive to our needs and questions. Sandy Feet Rentals will have our business for years to come!"

- ‼️TRAVEL INSURANCE: For guests traveling between June 1 & November 30, we HIGHLY recommend you purchase travel insurance through Airbnb to protect against flight cancellations or delays. 🌀

- ❄️ AC INFO: When using the air conditioning between May and August, kindly avoid setting it below 75°F from noon to 8 PM, and remember to adjust it to 78°F when leaving the property. This practice allows the AC to defrost and operate more effectively in the evening.

- Unfortunately, our beautiful mango tree did not survive Hurricane Helene. If you have stayed with us before, I'm grateful that you were able to enjoy our sweet, juicy mangoes. We hope to replant a mango tree sometime in the near future. 🥭

- We offer a pack-n-pack and highchair at our property. If any other baby equipment is needed, please let us know! We’ll gladly assist. 🚼

- We provide all guests with a "startup" of essential paper goods and supplies: three rolls of toilet paper, one or two rolls of paper towels (depending on the length of their stay), a small stack of napkins, and one or two backup garbage bags.

- This is a beach rental in Florida where small lizards may sometimes wander into the cottage. Don't worry, they're harmless! 🦎

The neighborhood is quiet with many eateries and shops to walk to. They provide bikes and we took a lovely long ride one day. The duplex is nice, clean and well organized with everything you might need for going to the beach and spending a week there. The only recommendation I have is to add another sitting option to the living room. There is only a smallish couch for lounging. Also the pull out couch isn’t comfortable so probably would only want to plan to use it for a night or two. Overall highly recommend!"

Gulf view! Tucked behind the dunes in Indian Rocks Beach, this historic beachside cottage maintains its classical charm, but with all the contemporary amenities. Built in 1921, this fully-renovated, 2-storey, 1-bedroom home is accessed via a discreet path that leads to the beach. The lower floor consists of an intimate bedroom, updated bathroom, and private patio. A spiral staircase leads to an open living area with a modern kitchen, half-bath, and a private deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.

The space
More than 100 years old, the "Floridita" is one of Indian Rocks Beach's earliest cottages. Lovingly tended to and newly renovated, it is now available for the first time in more than a decade.

Upon entering downstairs from a subtropical brick path, there is a queen bed, bedside tables, dresser, armoire, armchair, and desk. The bedroom enjoys its own full bathroom, newly restored with eco friendly bathroom fixtures. Sliding glass doors give on to a private patio, its pergola covered in flowering vines.

Spiral stairs lead up to an open living area with a crisp new euro kitchen and additional half-bathroom. The kitchen is fully loaded with cooking tools, as well as dining table and chairs. A loveseat sofa bed with twin mattress for a third guest sits opposite. This upstairs too has its own exterior door leading to a private deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, with extra seating to enjoy company and delight in the sunset.

Guests will have private use of the entire 2-story cottage, including a secluded patio and its own gulf-view deck.

No Lifeguard on Duty: This property does not provide a lifeguard. Guests are responsible for their own safety and the safety of all individuals in their party, including children and non-swimmers. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times when in or near the pool.

- ‼️TRAVEL INSURANCE: For guests traveling between June 1 & November 30, we HIGHLY recommend you purchase travel insurance through Airbnb to protect against flight cancellations or delays. 🌀

- ❄️ AC INFO: When using the air conditioning between May and August, kindly avoid setting it below 75°F from noon to 8 PM, and remember to adjust it to 78°F when leaving the property. This practice allows the AC to defrost and operate more effectively in the evening.

- Our Little Suitcase at TPA (near red baggage claim) offers baby equipment rentals for those traveling with young children. However, upon request, we offer a pack-n-pack and highchair at our property. 🚼

- We provide all guests with a "startup" of essential paper goods and supplies: three rolls of toilet paper, one or two rolls of paper towels (depending on the length of their stay), a small stack of napkins, and one or two backup garbage bags.

- This is a beach rental in Florida where small lizards may sometimes wander into the cottage. Don't worry, they're harmless! 🦎

House Rules:

Renting Requirement Policy: The guest booking the reservation must occupy the unit for the duration of the stay and is required to be 25 years of age minimum. Adults may not rent a unit for anyone under the age of 25, they must be actively present at the rental unit.

Maximum Guest Occupancy Policy: Adherence to occupancy policies and limits is strictly enforced. The guest count may not exceed the maximum guest occupancy at any point in time, including any pre-approved day guests. These policies are in place for your safety and the protection of the vacation home and the vacation rental industry. Violation of these policies may result in immediate eviction with complete forfeiture of all monies paid. Please contact management to request pre-approval for any day guests. Additional guests that will exceed the maximum occupancy will automatically be denied.

Pool Heating: When the pool heater is turned on, the temperature is typically set to 85 degrees unless otherwise stated in the listing. Please understand that when outside temperatures reach 60 degrees or lower a pool heater cannot always heat the pool to temperature.

Toiletries: Guests should bring their own toiletries, dishwasher pods, and laundry pods. Each unit will have two rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom, soap for every sink, a trash bag, and at least one roll of paper towels in the kitchen. 2 dishwasher pods and 2 laundry pods are also provided if applicable to the rental. We provide one set of bath towels per guest. For guest convenience, we also provide beach towels. All linens are provided.

Parking: This unit allows 2 parking spots. Limited additional parking. Must be approved if you have more than 2 vehicles.

The heated saltwater pool, jacuzzi, and 2 outdoor tiki bar/grills in the fenced back yard compound (5000 sq. ft.) are shared between the 4 cottages.
You won`t have ANY screaming kids around this compound....just peace
and quiet for ultimate relaxation, as we are a 21+ property.

Cottage #4 sleeps 2 adults comfortably in the one bedroom. The den also has a comfortable pull out couch. Each cottage has a private, privacy fenced back yard.
Very quiet area, dog friendly neighborhood.
The parking lot includes room for three cars (one per unit).
Each cottage has 2 beach chairs, umbrella, and a beach wagon. Bikes available upon request for a nominal rental fee.
All cottages are equipped with smart TVs so you are able to login to your favorite streaming service.

Small dogs <30 lbs. permitted with a non refundable pet fee of $150 per stay.

No glass is permitted in the pool area. The cottage contains plasticware for use in the pool area.
Do NOT flush feminine products or flushable wipes down the toilet. This has caused plumbing issues in the past. There are sanitary bags bags provided in the vanity for proper disposal.
Only use HE detergent in the washing machine.
There is a hose located in the side yard to the left of Cottage #1 for rinsing feet, beach gear etc. There is also an open shower faucet located between cottage #2 and #3. Please use care with the beach chairs and if one breaks please report this so the next guest is not without a functioning chair.
Do not throw wet sandy beach towels in the washing machine. Please leave outside to dry and then shake out thoroughly before washing. Towel hooks are in various outside locations on the property along the fence and exterior posts.
Clean the outdoor grill after use using the grill brush provided. Keep lid closed when not in use so grease pan doesn`t fill up with water in the event of rain.
Be a friendly neighbor and clean outdoor common areas after use.

- "Location, location, location...Based on the information provided, we chose to use a car service to get us "to and from" the airport (we used Way 2 Go Rides and were very pleased with our choice) during our stay. There was a substantial savings vs renting a car. We were taking a chance that everything would be as described. The chance paid off as the cottages are a block from beach access (getting to and from the beach was easy, especially with the provided beach wagons), around the corner from Coco's Grill, a half block from two other restaurants, two blocks from a convenience store (in a gas station), six blocks from a great restaurant (Guppy's), eight blocks from another great restaurant (Keegans). We took sunset beach walks and then walked to the restaurants for late dinners. It was great! The cottage (#4) itself was as described. We had everything we needed. It was clean and neat. Scott and Megan provided enough toiletries to get us started. The kitchen is well appointed. We needed a new beach umbrella (the one for our cottage was broken). We notified Scott and Megan and had a new one the next day. The pool was a perfect temperature and provided a terrific reprieve from the mid-afternoon sun at the beach. We cooled off in the pool and napped in the lounge chairs in the shade of palm trees. The neighborhood was exceptionally quiet. Megan and Scott's communications are excellent. We will definitely be back!"

Each room at Coquina Cove Resort is uniquely and tastefully decorated. As you enter the Tropical Coquina Resort you will find your private studio that sleeps two guests. Studio #1 is tastefully decorated in a modern Shabby Chic style. You have your own private entrance with 2 chairs, a table and drying hooks for your towels. As you walk out into the gated entrance to the resort you are surrounded by a private oasis featuring a large outdoor heated pool with plenty of sun loungers and other comfortable seating.

This Studio features a King size bed, night table, 2 chairs and a TV and Ceiling Fans You will find a nicely appointed kitchenette with Refrigerator, stove and microwave along with a small dining set for two. The full bathroom is off of the kitchen.

The studio is in a quiet neighborhood and there are yummy restaurants and some entertainment within walking distance just a few blocks away. The parking is right out front and your unit is on the ground floor. The surrounding local area has some great day trips: Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo featuring holiday lights late Nov-Jan,1st, John's Pass Village and Boardwalk, Tampa Lowry Zoo, Florida Aquarium, Clearwater Aquarium, Sunken Gardens, Dinosaur World, Ellenton Outlet Malls, Children's Museums, enjoy a Tampa Bay Ray's game at Tropicana Field, a Buccaneers Football game in Tampa, or check out some of the pro baseball teams during their local Spring Training, also Disney World and downtown Disney are just two hours away.

Blue Escapes is two blocks from the beach! You can see the beach access from our driveway, which makes it the perfect location. Blue Escapes is a five-minute walk to Cafe de Paris, Beach Wave Grill, Coco Crush, and a 10-minute walk to Casa Italia! 🍊🐚

Please remember that this is located in a residential neighborhood and to be kind and courteous during your stay. Locals enjoy their peace and quiet, and we want this to remain a piece of paradise for everyone to share and love.

Getting Around:
- Some restaurants and bars are within walking distance.
There is free public parking throughout IRB. We supply three bikes (two adults and one child) for guests to enjoy during their stay!
- There is a local trolley stop on our corner. The Suncoast Beach Trolley is a cheap and fun way to explore the area! If you plan to use the trolley during your stay, we recommend downloading the Flamingo & Transit app.
- IRB is slightly south of Clearwater Beach and less touristy, which makes our town even more special. 🍹

- ❄️ AC INFO: When using the air conditioning between May and August, kindly avoid setting it below 75°F from noon to 8 PM, and remember to adjust it to 78°F when leaving the property. This practice allows the AC to defrost and operate more effectively in the evening.

The couch pullout bed isn't the most comfortable for a 6'2" 220lb person so a blowup mattress was needed and set up in the sitting room. Other than that, the stay was very enjoyable. I do recommend the property and would return to stay again but would limit occupants to 4 persons max. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating."

Each of these apartments are for rent separately. Each apartment has two bedrooms with queen size beds, plus one bathroom, a living room with a queen sleeper sofa, dining area, and a full kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave oven, and all the utensils you will need for cooking.

By booking this property, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding the use of the swimming pool:

Assumption of Risk: Guests understand and acknowledge that the use of the swimming pool involves inherent risks, including but not limited to drowning, slipping, falling, and other potential hazards. By choosing to use the pool, all guests voluntarily assume full responsibility for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur.

No Lifeguard on Duty: This property does not provide a lifeguard. Guests are responsible for their safety and the safety of all party members, including children and non-swimmers. An adult must always supervise children when in or near the pool.

Homeowner Liability Release: The homeowner, property owner, Airbnb host, and any affiliated parties shall not be liable for any injuries, deaths, accidents, property damage, or other incidents that occur in or around the swimming pool, regardless of cause, including but not limited to negligence, natural conditions, or acts of third parties.

- No need to worry about packing or renting beach supplies! We supply our guests with towels, four chairs, a cooler, a beach wagon, an umbrella, and sunblock. There's also a large bag of beach toys for the little ones. ⛱️

- ‼️TRAVEL INSURANCE: For guests traveling between June 1 & November 30, we HIGHLY recommend you purchase travel insurance through Airbnb to protect against flight cancellations or delays. 🌀

- ❄️ AC INFO: When using the air conditioning between May and August, kindly avoid setting it below 75°F from noon to 8 PM, and remember to adjust it to 78°F when leaving the property. This practice allows the AC to defrost and operate more effectively in the evening.

- Unfortunately, our beautiful mango tree did not survive Hurricane Helene. If you have stayed with us before, I'm grateful that you were able to enjoy our sweet, juicy mangoes. We hope to replant a mango tree sometime in the near future. 🥭

- We provide a pack-n-play and a highchair for your convenience at our property. Additionally, we have safety doorknob covers available for the bedroom and kitchen doors to enhance safety. If you need any other baby equipment, please let us know, and we will be happy to assist you! 🚼

- We provide all guests with a "startup" of essential paper goods and supplies: three rolls of toilet paper, one or two rolls of paper towels (depending on the length of their stay), a small stack of napkins, and one or two backup garbage bags.

- This is a beach rental in Florida where small lizards may sometimes wander into the cottage. Don't worry, they're harmless! 🦎

Walk to restaurants, bars, bicycle and kayak rentals and sunset every day across the street. We live close by and can accommodate special requests on a short notice. We provide 18 towels: 4 beach, 4 shower, 4 hand towels, 4 face cloths and 2 kitchen towels, hair dryer, iron, drying rack. We have 4 beach chairs, beach toys for kids. No beach umbrella, no cart -they break all the time. Wi-Fi / Internet speed is 200 megabytes download speed and 10 megabytes upload speed, over 200 channels on Cable.
