Starfish stays is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach for gorgeous morning walks, shell and shark teeth collecting, swimming, sitting under an umbrella, basking in the sun or watching the most beautiful sunsets of the Gulf. Plenty of complimentary beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels in the unit. Two custom built outdoor showers hit the spot to rinse away the sand and salt. The grounds of Starfish feature a beautiful pergola complete with gas fire pit, bbq, cornhole games and seating for eight!

The fantastic Stump Pass is 3 miles south of the property. Here you can fish, hike the nature trails, launch a boat or kayak or just relax on the secluded beach. Stump Pass is an excellent location for finding shark teeth. Parking is only $3 per day.

Blind Pass is one mile north on the key. There are nature trails, docks for fishing, kayak launches, and playground and picnic areas. There are public restrooms and outdoor showers as well as more beautiful beaches. Parking is free here and abundant.

Starfish Stays was completely renovated inside and out. Our property features 8 total vacations units. 2A is brand new and was completed August 2020. Everything is new down to the stainless appliances, queen size bed in one bedroom, two twin beds and a TV in the other bedroom and custom countertop. Two bedroom, downstairs corner unit set between the beautiful sunsets of the Gulf of Mexico and the amazing sunrises on Lemon Bay in Manasota Key. Walk down to the private dock and watch the sunrise and the pelicans, or walk to the beach and relax on the sand and in the water. Or enjoy sunbathing at the private salt water pool.

This unit has two bedrooms with comfy beds and furniture. One bedroom has a king bed, the other a queen and the sleeper loveseat in the living room pulls out for guests. Each bedroom has its own ac unit and there are ceiling fans throughout. Including the porch. The two recliners in the living room are perfect for relaxing or watching the 48 inch tv in the living room. Basic cable as well as high speed wireless internet are included.

There is a full kitchen if you are in the mood for cooking. Pots, pans, dishes, silverware are all included as well as large refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave and a Keurig. There is one nice sized bathroom easily accessible from both bedrooms. All linens and towels are provided.

The back yard was amazing with the new pool. Sharing with the other two units (3 total), was not an issue. The only thing I can say negative is that there is only one bathroom so five or more people is kind of difficult to get ready for an outing. I would definitely recommend this place! Englewood is easy to get around and much less busy than other areas"

The condo was well stocked with kitchen items, beach gear and linens. The location can't be beat as the private beach is just steps away (no roads to cross)! The lanai with grill was a nice spot to relax and you can see the Gulf. Marie was quick to respond to my questions and extremely friendly! I definitely recommend this condo for a beach vacation!"

The area we stayed in was cleaned head to toe, furnished completely with every appliance you could need, and also included a washer and dryer system. The amenities were endless and the property also comes with a 4 digit padlock code to access it which aids if there were safety concerns. The downstairs unit will be seldom occupied during most of the summer allowing for a more peaceful and private stay upstairs. From the glass door facing the bay, you'll be mesmerized watching the sun rise over the water as you sip your morning coffee. The unit has been updated with new furniture and flooring throughout. The stylish new kitchen is well-stocked as is the recently remodeled bathroom. You'll find a spacious closet and master bedroom with a comfy king-size bed. Utilities, Wi-fi and Direct TV are included in rent. Large screen TV in the living room, additional TV in bedroom. This unit is suitable for no more than 2 adults and 2 children.

From the large backyard you can watch the boats and wildlife go by while sitting in the shade of the heritage oak tree or you can enjoy sunning yourself or fishing from the dock. There is a $250 per week fee to dock your boat, from May 1st to November 30th. The boat dock is not available for Dec1st to April 30th. Rates for longer lengths of stay are negotiable. No pets are allowed. The apartment has a NEWLY INSTALLED dual cooling and heating system. There is a 3-night minimum stay during summer and fall; otherwise, the property has a one-week minimum. Long term renters are welcome.
