Walk to everything, lots of bars with live music, lots of shops, lovely pier to stroll on, and right across the street from the beach! Pool clean and uncrowded. The location of Bridgewalk Resort was excellent, in regards to ease of access to beaches and restaurants. We were on the third floor, and had no issue with the noise from the streets below, as you can easily escape the noise with closing the patio door when you're ready to turn in for the night. The noise from the stereos of the cars and motorcycles were annoying, but expected. We just didn't think bikers liked Black-Eyed Peas so much to blast them on their Harley stereos. It made us laugh, so thanks bikers. We had a clean room, with enough amenities to make this a more-than-satisfactory stay. The parking attendants were a great source of information, as well as always polite and courteous. In regards to the beaches, the local beach access was not crowded by any means. There are more "hot spot" beaches to access up and down the island, but during the Covid pandemic, we didn't want it to be a part of the spread. One beach that is not at all crowded was at Bean Point. Go there to get away from the crowds, and enjoy some ocean life. Plenty of schools of fish, and some starfish, to see. Starfish are most likely covered in the sand under the shallow waters, so you may get lucky to see one, as we did. It slowly buried itself in the sand beneath, which was cool to see. Most restaurants had a 1-2 hour wait, with few having reservations. We ordered to-go from Wicked Cantina to save on time for one meal. Daiquiri Deck was good, and had great service. Bamboo Island Bar had great food and drinks, and excellent service, worthy of date night. Some restaurants we avoided as not all staff wore masks. Great vacation spot. We'll be back! Thanks!"

We had a very early morning flight and got to the area earlier than expected. We drove by the place to check it out and met the owner - he was very accomodating and gave us tips for the area and allowed us to check in early once all necessary cleaning had been completed. The beach area right across the street is perfect - it's one of the only areas that's not crowded. The owner mentioned the reason for that - I can't remember what it was, but it was definitely noticable - if you look at the beaches up and down from where we were, they were much more crowded. The place was very quiet inside. The views were beautiful. The sunsets were incredible. We could walk to restaurants and convenience stores, but parking was easy and driving anywhere we wanted to drive to was easy too. We will definitely come back!"

- "Very clean, cute enclave of attractive properties around a pretty and well attended and landscaped central courtyard, just off busy street but still not noisy. Easy access to beach and a short walk to pier and restaurants shopping. I was hoping for a newer bed...mattress was fine, but sagged where the places were. Note; the couch in front of the TV is petite...to the point of being 3/4 sized for the 'lounge.' However, as we were there to be outdoors and on the beach, not watching TV or stuck inside, not really an issue. The AC's porch and breakfast nook was very welcoming. The full kitchen was attractive but we used it not at all. Shower was also good. We enjoyed out stay. Thanks!"

It's very well equipped, including beach items and a well-equipped kitchen The view from the balcony is fabulous. The entire front of the unit is sliding glass doors, so even indoors you enjoy a breathtaking view. We walked to the shopping center a few times during our stay. The property manager is wonderful to deal with. I worked a little during our stay and there's an area adjacent to the kitchen that was a perfect spot for me to set up my "satellite" office. Go to the house before you go to the store to see what the previous people have left that you can use. And then return the favor when you leave. There’s no washer/dryer so pack accordingly. We loved spending our days at Manatee Beach (rented 2 chairs/umbrella) for $40 for the day. Their beach grill is very good and quite reasonable. Or bring your own. Or borrow chairs from the cabin and walk across the street. Catch the free island trolley. Eat some great seafood. Shop and just be still. Lynn is so helpful; reach out before if you have any questions to make packing easier. We always fly into Tampa, eat at the original The Columbia in Ybor City and then drive down to AMI. Las Palmas located on Anna Maria Island is an affordable vacation destination with loads of activities. Disney World is close enough to spend a day. Busch Gardens or Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa are only an hour drive away. Hard Rock casino one hour ride. Shopping at the outlet mall just 15 mins. Ringling Circus Museum just 30 mins. Movie theatre just a short drive off the island. The island area host a number of preserve trails that are fun to explore, picnic or relax. The beaches are as much fun at night (with flashlights) as the daily activities. The Bay side of the island has much to explore. Three piers to explore. Charters for adventure are plentiful on the island. Horseback riding on the causeway, kayak tours, paddle boarding and YoGA all located on the island. Equipment rentals are available or bring your own.

The property host three private bungalows. Two ground floor units and one upstairs. The bungalow for this ad is the ground floor front unit 2. The unit has two bedrooms and one bath room. There are outdoor showers for rinsing or cooling off after a wonderful day exploring. Laundry is available on property. One parking space is provided, additional spaces may be available. Caldera spa in the courtyard for common area use. Cover to be on the spa at all times when not in use. Check out at 10a.m. is FIRM, we do offer extended parking, until after sunset, outdoor showers, laundry room make for a great rinse, change, go out to eat.

Runaway Bay is a lovely vacation resort 100 yds. from the crystal blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico in Bradenton Beach, Florida.

This non-smoking (second floor) unit is over 1100 sq ft (2 bedrooms, 2 baths) with a screened in lanai which is quiet and peaceful. The lanai overlooks a natural area that's full of greenery! The kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms have been recently renovated and are modern and comfortable.

Runaway Bay has a dedicated crosswalk and path to the beach! Less than a five minute walk!

Our Condo is located on beautiful grounds that include the largest heated swimming pool on the island, tennis courts, recreation room, sauna, exercise equipment, shuffleboard and a fishing pier. Guests have access to all Runaway Bay facilities. NOTE: Runaway Bay pool is currently closed due to damage from last year’s hurricanes. Hopefully it will be repaired soon!!

The space
The unit is #2 of 5 units in the larger building facing the beach. Only the outdoor shower, sandy backyard, BBQ and pool are shared. Parking spot #2, closes to Gulf Dr. is your assigned space. As an original " Old Florida" ground construction unit, the unit low ceilings and is not recommended for guests taller than 6'2''. This is the middle ground floor unit when looking at the complex from the beach. Unit # 6, also part of complex, is free standing and poolside.

Guest access
The guest has full and completely private control of his unit and only shares, if he/she desires, the common areas like the pool, the grill, the back yard and outdoor shower. The unit has 2 chase lounges for their sun bathing enjoyment in our sandy backyard. They are not to be taken to the beach.

Other things to note
Please do not dump trash on the containers located on the Beach Pass Access for the local resident/guests to the beach as they are small, and overflow quickly as they are not empty frequently enough by the City and the overflow garbage attract rodents. Lights are not permitted on the back of the decks or balconies during turtle nesting season, March to October, as they distract the turtles. Turtle Protection Ordinance.

Our Hale has just been totally refurbished. The Master Bedroom has a peek of the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The bathroom features beautiful porcelain tile and a walk-in shower. The Kitchen is brand new and has granite counter-tops and a stainless steel sink with a commercial style faucet.
The living room features a 43" LED TV with Chromecast and high speed internet. You'll have everything you will need except clothes and food. There are beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. Don't want to cook inside? There is a gas grill available.

We have designed the space with granite counter tops, soft close cabinets, two bin sink and stainless steel appliances. The bathroom is fully tiled in 12 inch travertine with a single floating vanity, framed mirror and tub shower. We provide all your towels and shower gel. The master bedroom has a king bed with 32” TV, long dresser and standard closet with mirror doors. Our second bedroom holds two twin beds, a dresser in between and a standard closet with mirror doors. We provide two beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels so all you need to pack is your swimwear. You have a private entrance into your home on the second floor. There is covered parking at this home, so your car does not bake in the Florida head. You can fit two cars bumper to bumper under the home. A deck is right outside of the sliding glass doors with chairs and side tables to enjoy the outdoors. There is also a shaded shared deck on the first floor with a patio dining set and grill. An outdoor shower helps you rinse off after a day on the beach.

Other things to note
