The Siesta Village Beach House is a PRIVATE 2 bedroom 1 bath APARTMENT in a large house with an extra outdoor shower (enclosed with a fence) and private room with toilet and sink (the outside bathroom is accessible by the pool adjacent to the outdoor shower). The apartment is the main portion of the house where I used to live, and the other portion of house is rented to annual tenants who have NO access to the pool or hot tub. Private parking in front of house easily fits 2 cars/SUVs. Annual tenants have their own parking on the side of the house. The annual tenant's units are on the side and back of house. The bedrooms and bathrooms do not share any walls with the tenant's units. Couch in living room can be used to sleep an additional person. King bed in master and queen bed in second bedroom. All high end appliances, large screen 70" 4K television in living room, television in each bedroom, private large heated lap pool with jacuzzi, out door shower and bathroom by the pool and laundry facilities. Just a short walk to Siesta Key Village and beach. Beach access 2 is a short 1/2 mile walk that takes you through Siesta Village to the beach. A beach cart, umbrellas and floats are available for renters to use. Two older bikes are also available for use. Lounge chairs surround the private pool (POOL IS NOT SHARED). Large walk-in shower with various shower heads in house with access from master bedroom and hallway. Hardwood floors in main living area. Italian porcelain in bathroom.

Owner purchased home in 1998 and did major renovations in 2011 adding the pool and hot tub. Owner lived in home until 2015 when it was listed as a vacation rental.

Parking, Location and Getting Around Siesta Key:

Parking: Right outside the condo back door is a private parking spot for you to use during your stay.

From Airport to Siesta Key: In terms of getting here from the airport, we are closest to Sarasota airport. Uber and Lyft are available at Sarasota airport as well as a taxi service. If you fly into Tampa, then it could get more expensive to Uber since it is a good distance away (1.5 hours away).

Getting Around Siesta Key:
When you get to Siesta Key, there are multiple options to travel from Casa Mar (our condo complex) to the other areas of Siesta Key.

There is a free trolley that comes every 20 minutes and it stops at the SCAT bus station right in front of Casa Mar. This trolley will take to you both North and South Villages (that have shops and restaurants and are about 1-2 miles away).

Our beach has a quieter beach in front and to the right plus a lively popular crowd 50 yards south. It is a top spot on Siesta Key for sunsets and on Sundays the world-famous Siesta Key Drum Circle happens 100 yards down the beach. The water here is shallow clear and calm with white quartz-sand tide-pools perfect for sleeping drinking or playing.

The Home
Large 1BR home 1000 square feet and fully remodeled in 2023. Beautiful décor and thoughtful amenities throughout. Its level is unmatched on Siesta Key. Set on the Southern edge of Siesta Village. Just 30 steps to top beaches, and 3-minute golf cart or trolly ride (15-minute walk) to restaurants and the best fresh oysters, seafood, tropical drinks, ice cream, entertainment, and even gourmet donuts on the island.

Bedroom Details
This ocean view property it's on the 4th floor with an elevator. There is one large king bedroom, and a queen sleeper in the living room. Some say the views in the living room make it the best sleeping area in the apartment. You can sleep up to 4 family style.

Sorry but events involving guests in excess of your unit occupancy limit are not permitted at this location.

Travel Insurance
If you prefer insured bookings, we also offer travel insurance. Basic Travel Insurance- cost is 7%, covers 30 different issues, coverage begins only after protection has been purchased. CFAR (cancel for any reason) insurance is available in states applicable- cost is approximately 11% (7% basic plus additional 3.8% to add CFAR). Basic and CFAR must be purchased together as CFAR cannot be purchased individually. CFAR covers 60% of the trip cost with no questions asked. Travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days of booking and 30 days before check-in. Claim must be filed two days prior to arrival, available to U.S. citizens only.

- "Great property. Perfect for two adults unfortunately wife’s brother joined us for one night. A little crowded for three only comment were that needed reading lights on bedside table. Probably a $25 item or less" - "We recently spent a (very) long weekend at the Aqualina. The location is excellent, across the street from beach access #11, so very easy to go for walks in the morning, or grab chairs and supplies for a day of lounging. The apartment is about 1 mile from the village center so its a very reasonable walk into town, but with the trolley stop at the corner of the building, you can just walk out and hop the next trolley or call FrogHop and they will come grab you (for free!) right away. The apartment itself is very nice. The 65" TV supports AirPlay 2, so easy to stream from your Apple devices. The kitchen is well stocked with ample tools and appliances to cook if you are so inclined. The view toward the beach is a full, wall to wall set of sliding glass doors and since you are on the top floor, you get the view 24x7. You can seal off the doors with a slider to provide shade if you are visiting when it is crazy hot. The deck has two lounge chairs and a table with four chairs - great for entertaining with a view. The bed seems new and was comfortable. The unit comes with a HE washer and dryer combo. The bathroom is recently remodeled, and while relatively small (one sink), shower stall, no tub - it was clean, functional and did the job. While there is a sleeper sofa, for any long term rental, it is really best suited for two people given the main bedroom and bathroom arrangement. Its on the top (fourth) floor so lots of stairs but there is an elevator just outside the unit. (we never heard any elevator noise or traffic). A quality penthouse apartment in a solid location. Highly recommended."

Our front is residential, but the back is alley access for stores. This is the heart of Siesta Village with many nearby shops restaurants stores and attractions. It won't be noisy, makes shopping and other activities convenient, but we want you to be aware.

Our beach is the widest, has panoramic views of the gulf to the North-West-and-South, and is the top spot in North America for sunsets. You can swim or wade to Sand Dollar Island, a naturally occurring white sand cay popular with dolphin sand-dollars and “occasionally” manatee and giant-conch. The water is shallow clear and calm with white quartz-sand tide-pools perfect for sleeping drinking or playing. You can go from the water to lunch or dinner and back to the sand without putting on your shoes.

Possible Itinerary
Wakeup, decide if you will wear shoes today, then head to Sun Garden Café for a Crab Cake Benedict. Theirs is the best and they serve breakfast till 12 so there's no rush. Eat there Al Fresco, return to the pool, or walk over to the beach and look for dolphins, swim, bike, or just or just go back to sleep. This is a special spot so exploring a little will be worth your while. I like wading out to the sand bar at low tide. Bike rides on the beach are also amazing. Bike south to check out Point of Rocks or north and east to Big Pass. I usually skip lunch and have a 3PM happy hour meal at SKOB or the Hub, after drinking my fill I grab a real dinner, then walk back down to the beach to watch the sunset and digest. The sunsets are amazing, it's what leaf season in the north would be like if it was warm and happened every day.

The Beach
Our beach is a private Siesta Key beach with the widest whitest sands, free chaise lounges, and umbrella rentals. The water is shallow clear and calm with white quartz-sand tide-pools perfect for sleeping drinking or playing.


The Location
With so many amenities, and all of it free of charge, a 3-night stay here will feel like a two-week getaway. If you get the most from a vacation when you don’t have search or worry about anything, this unit is not a plus for you it’s a must! Although you could easily take a free trolley 1-mile any direction to dozens of shops and restaurants, you can also satisfy every vacation desire without ever putting on your shoes or leaving this resort. You can swim in pools or in the Gulf, fish the inter-coastal, exercise in the gym, sleep in the sun, explore Siesta Key’s best beach, make Sandcastles, and even sightsee all in a safe environment and right on your property. The beach here has the whitest sand on the island, but some of the best moments are watching boats and dolphins pass from the private balcony or nearby bayfront pool.


Bedroom Details
This is a 2nd-floor unit with an elevator. This unit is newly remodeled and has two master bedrooms with bathrooms en suite plus a third bedroom. This includes one king bedroom, and two bedrooms containing two queen beds each (5 beds in total). The balcony runs the length of the living area and two of the bedrooms. Note - because two master bedrooms have bathrooms inside them, guests sleeping in the third bedroom have to enter either the first or second bedroom to access a bathroom. In the past this has not been an issue for our guests, but let’s make sure it’s not an issue for you.


Beach Gear Provided
We provide beach towels, and the resort provides free chaise loungers and umbrella rentals. If you have any issues just reach out and we will do whatever we can. Correction for Air-b-n-b listings this location doesn't provide "snorkeling gear" but this and anything you need can be rented or purchased nearby.


Important Resort Limits
1) Expect a special experience where each visitor’s peaceful enjoyment is respected. The minimum age for visitors not accompanied by a parent or guardian is 25 years. Stay up as late as you want, but the “quiet neighbor times” begin 10 PM. After 10 PM relocate the party to nearby Siesta Village or the Crescent Beach area. 2) Just one parking space per unit. However, cars are not necessary and an additional "emergency parking space" is available 1 mile away. 3) Baths are location inside two of the three bedrooms. If any of these limits are not a fit for you, please let me know, I have other properties available.

We provide bedding, kitchen items, private laundry, most major and minor appliances, blow dryers, and hangers. Simple soaps and paper products come in starter-supply that will get you through a short stay and anything you need can be purchased nearby.


What to Bring
It’s a laid-back island so pack as lite as you like. Our fashion is casual, wash and wear, and all units have laundries. Also, anything you forget to bring can be found nearby in good supply and fair prices.

The space
Since Midnight Cove has buildings on the Gulf as well as Bay side of Midnight Pass Road, you have a private beach access and access to all the amenities on both sides of the island, which include a marina, two tennis courts, two heated pools, beach chairs, lounges, and umbrellas. The condominium is located on Bay side of the island, just across the street from the world-famous Siesta Beach, which has powdery white quartz sand (it doesn't get hot on your feet). Siesta Key Beach was declared the 'best beach in the USA' by Dr. Beach in 2011. Your bayside apartment has a view of the canal and boat dock which is bordered by lush mangroves. It's a tropical ambiance unmatched by any other condominium!

The highlight of this luxurious and spacious apartment is its immense screened lanai off the living room with a view of the bay and tropical mangroves. The living room, furnished in Florida style, has a pull-out sofa, cable TV, DVD, VCR. The master has a king size bed and TV, and the master bath has a tub-shower combo. The second bedroom has two twin size beds and TV with a half bath right off the bedroom. The kitchen is totally equipped, including frig with ice
maker, dishwater, and microwave. Also, we have just remodeled the apartment, adding a full second bath and a laundry room with new, large appliances (washer and dryer).

The Siesta Cove complex stretches over 11 acres of lush tropical greenery to the serene waters of the Intercoastal Waterway.

The complex has two heated pools, two tennis courts, pickle ball courts, marina and boat dock, basketball hoop, and, most importantly, your own private beach access on a private beach. No need to get in your car, as two blocks away there is a convenience grocery store, drug store, post office, liquor store, marina, and an assortment of shops and restaurants. Siesta Key Village is a mile down on the north end of the island and offers many quaint shops, restaurants and nightly entertainment.
