- "A group of 4 of us met up at South Seas Resort for a much needed girls vacation. It's about an hour drive from RSF airport. The unit was great, beautiful view from the screened in porch. Beach access was close. We did drive to the pool because it was a couple miles away but well worth it, view was gorgeous, pools were warm. Hot tub was not available one day which was disappointing. Doc Fords food and drinks were delicious. We didn't spend a lot of time at the beach but having chairs, umbrella and towel service out there was really handy. Loved our stay! We'll be back with our families."

- "The room was clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We got daily text messages asking us if we needed anything. The facility was well kept, the beaches were clean and the several pools to choose from. We will most definitely return. " - "After growing up in the area and staying at south seas before we were excited to come again. Knowing the hurricane had hit and causes some damage we were still excited. However, after seeing the listing and photos and amenities of the property we assumed it was repaired and most things were as advertised. We arrived at south seas and there is no “front desk” as mentioned during check in. The front desk building is demolished. You check in with front gate keeper. Who had no idea we were scheduled for a stay as we were not provided a unit number. After fumbling through that we were informed our unit was not clean. No big deal. However, after 2 hours our groceries began to spoil, and our children needed to use the restroom. We then entered the unit before they were done cleaning (because there was no other option). Soon later that evening a fire alarm inside the unit began chirping while the kids were sleeping. After that we tried to shower, only to find out the unit had no hot water. None of these little things are the end of the world to us but it seemed to compound. The ceiling fan in the master wobbled to the point it’s unusable. The south seas property will be beautiful again one day but there is just too much hurricane damage and MOST amenities are still not available. They are doing their best and we feel for them. But you must make it clear to people wanting to stay or visit that 90% of the property is closed and under complete construction for repair. "

- "Full service resort that is remote enough to feel tropical without having to leave the country. Beautiful beach with all the amenities but without the fuss." - "I spent A LOT of money for my family of 5 to stay here for a week and it was way too expensive for what we got. The problems started when we first arrived. We arrived early and were told that the cleaning staff would start on our room and call us to let us know when it was ready. When we hadn't heard from them by 4:00 (the official check in time) we were told that 4:00 was the "start" of check in time but our unit would be ready in twenty minutes. An hour an 1/2 later we were finally allowed into our room. Then the next day we were locked out of our room. And again our kids who were hot and tired were forced to sit outside and wait for someone to let us in. Not to mention that the unit is nowhere near what we expected. It is dirty and lacking basic necessities. I have included pictures of all the kitchen "amenities". And that hot water heater is unsecured in the kitchen - a safety hazard for small children for sure. We found clumps of hair on the porch, dirty dishes and left over items from the previous renters scattered throughout. The bed doesn't fit the frame, the kitchen table legs are so loose the table feels like it is going to fall over at any minute. I can go on. Room Picks By Victoria refused to accept any responsibility for this and instead put all of the blame on South Seas. The problem is, when you book through this listing you are paying Room Picks, so South Seas doesn't have any incentive to help. you or remedy any of the problems. For such an expensive vacation we should be able to except a rental that is clean, well-stocked and available when we need it. This was sadly not the case. Yes, the beach is lovely, but you can find a better value with a different rental."
