We pulled out the couch bed to find dirt, old fake eye lashes and a dirty cover. We had to wash it before bed. No sheets. The smell of sulfur was overwhelming the whole trip no one came out. We asked for a cleaning. No one came to clean. The photos are so deceiving I drove by the place 4 times. The connecting unit had a dog that barked all day and night. We asked to be changed and was told there was no option to change. The floor has noticeable water damage and the base boards were taken off."

The Beach Haven Penthouse Unit is located only a half block to Tybee Island`s South Beaches Pier & Pavilion, bars, restaurants, and shops! Featuring 2 private porches --one with an ocean view, a fully stocked kitchen, living, and dining area--as well as a king bed and designated work space--the Beach Haven Penthouse provides all the amenities for a comfortable beach vacation your family will remember! Located on the top level on the left hand side of the Beach Haven Estate, the Penthouse unit is a private, 1 bedroom 1 bathroom fully equipped accommodation with a formal living room, dining area, and kitchen. The bedroom has 1 king bed. Linens, towels, kitchen essentials, coffee, and bathroom amenities are provided. Please note we do not provide beach towels or chairs.
Outside, there is a charcoal grill in the carport along with an outdoor bar and seating area with cornhole --please note this is the only space that is shared with guests staying in the downstairs unit. There are two porches only accessible to you, so these outdoor spaces are private and are not shared with any other guests staying on the property. There is one off of the kitchen/dining area which features a view of the ocean, and a second porch off of the master bedroom. There is a pull out sofa in the living room to sleep an additional 2 guests.To access the property, go up the first flight of stairs (this will bring you to the beach haven lower unit). To access the penthouse unit, go up the second flight of stairs that are painted red white and blue, to bring you to your private entrance. A spacious closet with shelves, suitcase stand and coat racks provide plenty of space for clothing and personal items. The screened porch has two comfortable red rocking chairs that are just right for a relaxing finish to your day in the sun. An energy efficient, ultra quiet Mitsubishi heat pump AC/heat unit offers plenty of heat during cold months and plenty of cold air conditioning in the summer. Ceiling fans inside and on the porch gently move the air as well.

This apartment is just right for a couple or a couple with a small child or two adults and a close friend who doesn't mind sleeping on the sleeper sofa. The downstairs apartment may also be rented to allow for plenty of room for family and friends.

- "We’d never really spent much time on Tybee, but we were pleasantly surprised. We found Cathy’s rental by chance and have since decided we will be going there often! It is in walking distance to almost everything that we wanted to do. Everything was sooo clean! The screened in porch was a major selling point as my husband and I love to sit on the porch and talk. The place is small, but sooo intimate and provides everything you could need. I think the kitchen is bigger than our own! We didn’t utilize it this time, but have plans for next time. Hands down, one of the best vacations we’ve ever had."

We are on the quiet northeast bend of Tybee Island, just 200 ft across the road to the beach boardwalk. Beautiful beach with good fishing & swimming. Tybee is a great bike riding community. The whole Island is only 3 miles by 1 mile. However, the Island has affordable golf cart rentals & car taxi service for $5pp anywhere on the Island.

We are a locally owned & family operated company. Our rental property is right past the 2nd traffic light; a couple houses behind the Sugar Shack on the left. We are also walking distance to several restaurants and bars. Other restaurants, ATM, gas station, liquor store, shops, laundry mat, hair salon & Tybee Post Theater just 1/2 to 1 1/2 blocks away! The Lighthouse & Museum are also just a short few blocks away.

Come stay with us & enjoy our outdoor patios, grills, corn hole & Tiki lounge area. We also have an outside shower for after a fun day at the beach!

This property is NOT PARTY friendly. We do not allow loud noise, music, public drunkenness, or parties of any sort. This is a family oriented neighborhood. Violators may be evicted and/or fined.
The City of Tybee Noise Ordinance requires strict observance of QUIET TIME between 10 pm and 7 am. Tybee Island Police and the neighborhood strictly enforces this. The individual violators (not the property owner) can be fined by the City.

The sand is 400 steps away. It is only a 3 minute walk to the beach. Starfish a clean, comfortable, and affordable way to experience the local beach life. Come check us out for the weekend or stay for the week and really relax.

We rented bikes from Tim’s and they delivered and pick up. It’s a 10 min ride to the bars/restaurants at the end of the island and less than 5 to the beach. The property manager (Bonnie) was great at communicating with us throughout the process. Only thing missing was a pool. Def recommend."

- "A great little spot for our first trip to Tybee. 9 TS Chu Terrace was a great stay for our family. My kids (9 & 7) weren't enthused about the pull out sofa but they made do. If I had it to do over I would bring a cot for one of my kids. Half a Tybee block from two beach accesses, a fantastic spot for anyone who's priority is sun and water. Close to various restaurants and bars if that is your thing. Inside is quite a bit darker than the photos would lead you to believe but not surprising as this is a space carved into the barrier island understory of the house proper. Definitely basement vibe, despite being technically above ground, although not unpleasant. Floors are epoxied concrete so cleaning up the inevitable sand is a breeze. Solid 9/10 with my only quibble being a very weird kitchen layout (which had nine different pots but no skillets in it), a pull-out sleeper that my kids whined about, and odd shower."

1/2 block from the beach, 2.7 miles from Tybee Island Light Station and Museum. You can also visit Tybee Island Marine Science Center, located at the end of the gravel North Beach Parking Lot, beachside of Fort Screven. Just 400 feet from the crosswalk to the beach access!!

Regardless of where you end up booking on Tybee, before booking please look up local events/parades, road work, possible future storms, weather and tides. Traffic can be backed up due to major events or an accident on the island, or changes in weather like rain lead to a lot of people leaving the beach all at once, so it's a good idea to plan ahead and know what's going on! If you decide to go into Savannah for the day, plan ahead for your return at night. It is fully recommended to do this research in advance and to monitor radar on your stay. Tybee is a super fun place and our Island loves to have a good time. We often have fireworks for major holidays also which are well attended. During a Full Moon, especially on a Super Moon, a high tide or even a King Tide can happen which is when the tides are even higher than normal. While very rare, it is possible, water can also cross over the main road US Hwy 80 coming onto and leaving the Island so please plan ahead for that. The city and county may close roads temporarily as it isn't safe to drive through water so you may need to plan accordingly to arrive early or later to the Island.

This is only good during your stay and must be returned to the room prior to check out. • We are not able to offer late check out based on our house cleaner`s limited availability.
• Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10pm.
• Guests listed on the reservation must contact us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible.
• Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos.
• Please remember to take all of your belongings with you upon checkout. Any items left behind will incur a of $30 mailing fee (separate from the cost of postage). We will do our best to send your items back to you within a week.
• If by not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest, you will be liable for the costs.

CHECKING OUT:
Please leave keys, parking pass, and gate key on the kitchen counter. Check out is strictly 11:00 AM. Leaving late will incur a $25 fee per 30 minutes (beginning at the first minute upon the half hour). The door code will be changed promptly at 11AM so make sure you`ve got all of your property and have exited the property on time. Lock the door upon leaving.

• There are dumpsters at the south end of each building. All household
trash should be placed in these containers. Please do not leave your trash in the hall or laundry rooms.
• PETS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
• Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children.
• Please be respectful. Remember that you may have neighbors
above, below, and beside you. Do not allow your children to roam the complex at night. All bedroom windows face the hallways.

POOL RULES:
• No lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk.
• No children under the age of 15 allowed in the pool area without adult supervision.

• Smoking/vaping is prohibited in the common areas. This includes the pool area.
• No running, no diving and no rough, boisterous play allowed in pool area. No balls, frisbees, large floats, etc.
• No yelling, screaming or noisy games allowed.
• Do not play, pull on, submerge or place body weight on pool rope.
• No bicycles or skateboards allowed.
• When coming from the beach sand and salt water, please shower to remove sand and salt before entering pool.
• Children not potty-trained must wear waterproof swim pants in pool. (“Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R. 511-3-5-.18”)
• Persons with skin, eye, ear or nasal infection, cuts open blisters or communicable diseases are not to enter pool.
• Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not to enter pool area.
• No swimming allowed during heavy rain or when thunder and lightning can be seen or heard.
• SBRC Management reserves the right to deny use of pool to anyone at any time.

The kitchenette may be small but it is outfitted with top of the line amenities like the granite countertop, a Cuisinart convection toaster oven, a Nespresso coffee machine & a double burner stove. All the dishes and cookware you need to cook a meal are here and your dining table has window views of the pond.

The new bathroom has a lovely tiled shower with waterfall shower head and awesome lighting. Fluffy towels and plenty of storage at your finger tips.

This property has been professionally designed and renovated to provide the ultimate Tybee Island getaway with all the amenities you will need to have a comfortable and fun filled beach vacation. Enjoy a heated pool, propane grill, outdoor shower, beach chairs, pool floats, a private screened in porch with a daybed swing, games, books, and upscale furnishings to promote relaxation and gathering with your friends and family!

The space
The Splash Inn lower unit boasts a screened in porch with a twin size hanging daybed. Upon entering the unit, you will find an open concept living and custom bar style dining area. The living room features a comfortable sofa, smart TV, books for reading, board games, and a fully stocked kitchen. There is a keurig coffee maker in the kitchen. Please note there is no dishwasher in the lower unit.

The bathroom--located off the kitchen--has been completely remodeled to offer tile floors and a custom tiled shower, as well as an LED light mirror and modern vanity.
There are two bedrooms in this unit. The first bedroom off of the living room includes a Full Size bed as well as a Queen sized bed a dresser and small tv. The second bedroom off of the kitchen, offers a Queen sized bed.

By the pool, guests can enjoy sun loungers, an outdoor shower, a shared laundry room, and an outdoor dining table with a propane grill.

There is a pool heating fee of $30 per night. Please contact us ahead of time.
We only heat the pool from November 1st to May 1st.

There is a large, gravel parking lot directly in front of the house to provide free parking for guests.
Please do not park taking up multiple spots in the lot as there are other guests who need to use the parking lot as well.

Located in the historic Captain's Quarters is Captain's Hideaway. Captain's Hideaway is a two bedroom one bath apartment tucked away in the heart of downtown Tybee. Less than 300 steps to the beach with access to two parking spots, you won't even need to move your car! The parking spots are less than 10 feet from the entrance of Captain's Hideaway. Captain's Hideaway includes all your beach needs including beach towels, toys, 4 chairs, a large cooler and wagon.

The space
Beach vibes and natural decor fill our space and immerse you into laid back Tybee living. The living room has a tv and ample seating. A full size kitchen and a two seater table complete the entrance area. The two bedrooms both have queen beds. One is the Pineapple room and one is the Flamingo room. Both have closets. The bathroom is recently renovated, stylish, and boasts a large mirror. There is a porch and also an outside patio area with a picnic table.

Captain's Quarters was built in the 40's. During that time it was called The Wilson Hotel. Later bought by the Chu Family it was renamed Captain's Quarters and dedicated to Mr. Chu and the Spirit of American Business.
