- "We arrived at the unit late. Parking was blocked by the other units. The unit smelled like sulfur. When we contacted the office, we were just told to run the hot water in the unit. We pulled out the couch bed to find dirt, old fake eye lashes and a dirty cover. We had to wash it before bed. No sheets. The smell of sulfur was overwhelming the whole trip no one came out. We asked for a cleaning. No one came to clean. The photos are so deceiving I drove by the place 4 times. The connecting unit had a dog that barked all day and night. We asked to be changed and was told there was no option to change. The floor has noticeable water damage and the base boards were taken off."

The Beach Haven Penthouse Unit is located only a half block to Tybee Island`s South Beaches Pier & Pavilion, bars, restaurants, and shops! Featuring 2 private porches --one with an ocean view, a fully stocked kitchen, living, and dining area--as well as a king bed and designated work space--the Beach Haven Penthouse provides all the amenities for a comfortable beach vacation your family will remember! Located on the top level on the left hand side of the Beach Haven Estate, the Penthouse unit is a private, 1 bedroom 1 bathroom fully equipped accommodation with a formal living room, dining area, and kitchen. The bedroom has 1 king bed. Linens, towels, kitchen essentials, coffee, and bathroom amenities are provided. Please note we do not provide beach towels or chairs.
Outside, there is a charcoal grill in the carport along with an outdoor bar and seating area with cornhole --please note this is the only space that is shared with guests staying in the downstairs unit. There are two porches only accessible to you, so these outdoor spaces are private and are not shared with any other guests staying on the property. There is one off of the kitchen/dining area which features a view of the ocean, and a second porch off of the master bedroom. There is a pull out sofa in the living room to sleep an additional 2 guests.To access the property, go up the first flight of stairs (this will bring you to the beach haven lower unit). To access the penthouse unit, go up the second flight of stairs that are painted red white and blue, to bring you to your private entrance. A door code for keyless entry will be provided to you as well as detailed check in instructions 24 hours prior to your check in date. Check in is at 4pm & check out is at 10am.

A spacious closet with shelves, suitcase stand and coat racks provide plenty of space for clothing and personal items. The screened porch has two comfortable red rocking chairs that are just right for a relaxing finish to your day in the sun. An energy efficient, ultra quiet Mitsubishi heat pump AC/heat unit offers plenty of heat during cold months and plenty of cold air conditioning in the summer. Ceiling fans inside and on the porch gently move the air as well.

This apartment is just right for a couple or a couple with a small child or two adults and a close friend who doesn't mind sleeping on the sleeper sofa. The downstairs apartment may also be rented to allow for plenty of room for family and friends.

- "We’d never really spent much time on Tybee, but we were pleasantly surprised. We found Cathy’s rental by chance and have since decided we will be going there often! It is in walking distance to almost everything that we wanted to do. Everything was sooo clean! The screened in porch was a major selling point as my husband and I love to sit on the porch and talk. The place is small, but sooo intimate and provides everything you could need. I think the kitchen is bigger than our own! We didn’t utilize it this time, but have plans for next time. Hands down, one of the best vacations we’ve ever had."

We are on the quiet northeast bend of Tybee Island, just 200 ft across the road to the beach boardwalk. Beautiful beach with good fishing & swimming. Tybee is a great bike riding community. The whole Island is only 3 miles by 1 mile. However, the Island has affordable golf cart rentals & car taxi service for $5pp anywhere on the Island.

We are a locally owned & family operated company. Our rental property is right past the 2nd traffic light; a couple houses behind the Sugar Shack on the left. We are also walking distance to several restaurants and bars. Other restaurants, ATM, gas station, liquor store, shops, laundry mat, hair salon & Tybee Post Theater just 1/2 to 1 1/2 blocks away! The Lighthouse & Museum are also just a short few blocks away.

Come stay with us & enjoy our outdoor patios, grills, corn hole & Tiki lounge area. We also have an outside shower for after a fun day at the beach!

This property is NOT PARTY friendly. We do not allow loud noise, music, public drunkenness, or parties of any sort. This is a family oriented neighborhood. Violators may be evicted and/or fined.
The City of Tybee Noise Ordinance requires strict observance of QUIET TIME between 10 pm and 7 am. Tybee Island Police and the neighborhood strictly enforces this. The individual violators (not the property owner) can be fined by the City.

ONE FREE PARKING PASS good for your stay which allows parking Island-wide in public spaces which is worth $48 per 8 AM to 8 PM per day! This is only good during your stay and must be returned to the room prior to check out. If Pass is accidentally taken home or not returned will be billed ($500) to the guest, and a police report will be filed, with no exceptions- please be considerate and thoughtful to the next guests! These passes are not disposable and very hard to come by.

Regardless of where you end up booking on Tybee, before booking please look up local events/parades, road work, possible future storms, weather and tides. Traffic can be backed up due to major events or an accident on the island, or changes in weather like rain lead to a lot of people leaving the beach all at once, so it's a good idea to plan ahead and know what's going on! If you decide to go into Savannah for the day, plan ahead for your return at night. It is fully recommended to do this research in advance and to monitor radar on your stay. Tybee is a super fun place and our Island loves to have a good time. We often have fireworks for major holidays also which are well attended. During a Full Moon, especially on a Super Moon, a high tide or even a King Tide can happen which is when the tides are even higher than normal. While very rare, it is possible, water can also cross over the main road US Hwy 80 coming onto and leaving the Island so please plan ahead for that. The city and county may close roads temporarily as it isn't safe to drive through water so you may need to plan accordingly to arrive early or later to the Island.

All pets must be preapproved before booking. We do not allow cats/other animals.
*Dogs are WELCOME! However, you must indicate the size, breed, and age in your booking ahead of time, so please do not instantly book if you intend to bring a dog (Pitbull or Bully Breeds, Cane Corso, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Dobermann or Any other aggressive breed are not allowed). A pet fee of $100 will be required per pet (2 pets max) and must be paid prior to check-in.

Please note that on the 7th day of your booking, you have the option to pay for a second cleaning to have fresh linens on the bed and new towels. However, starting from the 8th day, it's mandatory to have the cleaning service and fee.
