There is a target and many restaurants within twenty minute drive. I did not have a good experience at one of the property restaurants so would not recommend those. There is also a Harris Teeter grocery store five min away. If your a walker/runner it is a nice place for that. Overall property was clean, especially at the main property and thats always top priority."

We are just a 100 yard walk down a dead-end street that ends at the beach! This part of the beach is very uncrowded even during the summer. Upon entering, you will be greeted with tiled floors that are offset by the warmth of vintage California redwood paneling and exposed brick walls. This house is truly stuck in the 1970s and not decked out with all the latest gadgets or appliances. It is very simplistic, rustic, and well, kind of quirky. To offset what it is lacking, it has a prime island location!
It's suitable for 2 people, or 3 if the third person wants to sleep on a small couch, or you're welcome to bring a blow-up mattress – there is ample room for one.
Please note: guests will not have access to AC/Heat controls. This house is equipped with a finicky geo-thermal unit. If you desire a certain temp, please let us know and we will adjust the thermostat to your desire. However, being an older home located in a subtropical climate, it will never be 70 degrees inside during the summer months.
The property sits upon what once was a natural sand dune and is very shady with lots of oaks and palm trees. There is unkempt vegetation everywhere – there is no manicured lawn here. (This lot is reminiscent to what this end of island looked like before the resort area was developed). We have chosen to have a sustainable yard – no watering required – and provide an ecological oasis for native plants and animals. If you're lucky, you will see the small herd of white tail deer that call a corner of the yard their home. PLEASE NOTE: We are surrounded by lots of trees; therefore, there is not a lot of natural light inside, so it may be too dark for some people’s taste. We have ample lighting and lamps throughout to compensate for the lack of natural light coming through the windows and doors. However, this can be beneficial especially during the hot summer months after being out on the beach all day.
So, if what you’re looking for is a place with all the bells and whistles of a newly renovated home or an airy light-filled modern beach house with all the latest appliances and perks, please look elsewhere – you’re not going to be happy here. We strive to make our guests happy and comfortable during their stay and enjoy their time in our ocean playground.
**FYI: there is no dishwasher or washer/dryer. If you need to do laundry, there is an IOP Laundromat about 2.5 miles away in the Harris Teeter shopping center.
PETS: We do accept friendly, housebroken dogs only – Limit 2 Dogs – preferably smaller dogs, but will accept large dogs depending on breed. ALL DOGS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED PRIOR TO BOOKING. We charge a non refundable pet fee of $50. This fee is included in your quote when you select that you are bringing pets. Also, when outside, your dog will have to be on a leash and all pet waste will have to be picked up and disposed in the outside trash bin. We do not accept cats.
City of Isle of Palms Dog Rules: Dogs can run off-leash on the beach every day from 5a.m. to 9a.m after that, they must be leashed at all times.

We text the property manager a couple hours before we got there asking her to set the temp where we wanted it, and she answered almost immediately letting us know she would do it. We had a little issue with the AC, but she came to look at it the same day. We really didn't spend much time there, but like I said it was exactly what we needed. Was it the most beautiful house on the block? No, but we also weren't teying to spend $10k to stay by the beach! We also had no issues with the hot water!"

Come enjoy this super cute and cozy 1950's beach cottage only a couple of blocks from the beach, Isle of Palms restaurants and night life. Two blocks away from the Harris Teeter grocery store and just steps away from Café Paname with the most delicious lates and croissants one can find! After a breathtaking sunset or sunrise you can walk to a number of excellent restaurants - no need for Uber during your stay.
This is a cozy 350 square feet unit and has a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen bed pull out couch. It has a small dishwasher as well as a washer and dryer. This place is fully equipped for great stay by the beach. Just bring your clothes, flip flops and relax for a great time in Isle of Palms!

The outdoor living area is gorgeous and features a sofa, chairs, and seating for four at the high-top table. When it is time to hit the beach, access is easy from 113 Seascape by either the elevator or a flight of stairs just a few feet away.
113 Seascape is a smartly designed single-story condominium and features many upscale furnishings and a stylish décor. The living room, dining area, and kitchen all offer oceanfront views. The living area has several new furnishings including a flat panel television and custom sound system with speakers throughout the home. The kitchen has been completely renovated with new appliances, cabinetry, and granite countertops. In addition to the kitchen both the guest bathroom and master bathroom have been renovated and feature beautiful tile work, granite surfaces, and a new whirlpool tub in the master bathroom. Come enjoy this cute and cozy 1950's beach cottage only a couple of blocks from the beach, Isle of Palms restaurants and night life. Two blocks away from the Harris Teeter grocery store and just steps away from Café Paname with the most delicious lates and croissants one can find! After a breathtaking sunset or sunrise you can walk to a number of excellent restaurants - no need for Uber during your stay.
This unit is approx. 800 square feet and has a king bed in the master bedroom, a full/twin bunk bed in the second bedroom and a queen bed pull out couch. It has a small dishwasher as well as a washer and dryer. This place is fully equipped for great stay by the beach. Just bring your clothes, flip flops and relax for a great time in Isle of Palms!

Beach access is easy with several walkways and the wonderful flat beach is perfect for long walks, beach bikes, or simply relaxing by the water.
This well-designed condominium features many upgrades inside including updated flooring, granite countertops, flat screen televisions, an updated bathroom with vanity sink and tiled shower. The living room is spacious and comfortable for a one-bedroom condominium with gorgeous oceanfront views and you can access the screened in porch from either the living room or the master bedroom. Accompanied with a king bed in the master bedroom, as well as extra bedding with a built-in daybed, plus sleeper sofa 204 B Port O Call supports bedding for five.

When it is time to descend and hit the water, 504 Summerhouse offers two great choices. First, you will arrive at the Summer House Community private pool. Offering plenty of comfortable seating and oceanfront views, the private Summer House pool is a perfect first stop for your family. When it is time to hit the sand, you will find that the Summer House Beach is one of the widest in Charleston with plenty of room for your family to set up camp with your beach chairs, tents, bocci games, and cornhole.
When you are ready for lunch or dinner, you will find that 504 Summerhouse has a wonderful kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, and hard surfaces. The appliances are all new & updated (the fridge has an ice maker, the dishwasher is touch operated), we had one minor problem with the washer and the host answered our message within 10 minutes and it was promptly fixed, all the TVs are smart TV’s with a cable box, Wi-Fi worked the entire time and was fast, the furniture is comfortable, all the dishware you could need, the balcony is spacious and the panoramic view is stunning. Prime location literally right next to the pool and of course the beach. Beachside allowed us to check out at 12 when we were running late getting a rental from the airport. All around one of the best places we’ve ever stayed, couldn’t recommend booking here more!"

Comfortable seating for everyone, the living room has a large flat screen television, plus direct access to the screen porch. Everything is ready and waiting for you- just pack your bags for an Easy Breezy stay!

Wild Dunes is the only gated community on Isle of Palms and has a golf course and resort amenities. Just 15 minutes to Mt. Pleasant and 30 minutes to Downtown Charleston, this is the perfect place for your next getaway!
You can park right out front in the numbered spot or in any of the unmarked spots. Bike rentals are a fantastic idea and a great way to get around the Wild Dunes resort during your stay.
No pets or open flames are allowed inside per community rules

This wonderful 2-bedroom oceanfront condominium will bring you back to a time when life on the Island (and Charleston) was much different, and families traveled to the beach to simply spend time together. “Sea Forever” at 409 Summerhouse was ideally designed for this purpose, featuring a fantastic oceanfront balcony/lanai, a beautiful interior, and access to four swimming pools. The interior of 409 Summerhouse is lovely with the new tile floors and bright beach colors throughout the home. The furnishings are comfortable and perfect for the home. A nicely equipped kitchen with upgraded countertops provides everything you might need if eating in rather than visiting one of the many restaurants (seasonal), all of which are within walking distance of 409 Summerhouse.

I would definitely say they are for small children. I would suggest blinds on the bedroom windows as the light from the outside hallway is very bright. The restroom sink was stopped up and drained slowly. We would definitely stay here again, and If more in our party, we would see if there are bigger condos available."

This property is centrally located to everything Isle of Palms has to offer. First and foremost the beach access to one of SC's best beaches is one house over - but in addition the Isle of Palms recreation center is a block away and features tennis/pickle ball courts, multiple fields, indoor and outdoor basketball court, playground, etc. Fantastic restaurants and grocery stores nearby as well. A less than 5 min walk to a closer beach. Rooms were clean and well furnished. We had plenty of room to chill out in the evenings and we were very comfortable. The rooms were large, especially the Master Bedroom. The owners (who live upstairs) were very gracious. They were there when you needed them, and not when you didn't. This wonderful 2nd row apartment located on the ground level of our home is the perfect place for the beach lover. The beach access path is directly across the street and it leads to a nice wide sandy beach. The home has been remodeled in recent years and is full of charm and character with features like granite countertops, beadboard wainscoating, and tile floors. You also have your own private gated yard area and patio. The central location is close to restaurants, bars, and the rec center.
The space
What makes this property special is we are located right across the street from the beach access path. This is one of the few paths that allow golf carts to park close to the beach in case you choose to rent a golf cart. The apartment is located on the ground floor of our house and has its own private gated yard. It is nice and spacious and furnished in a fun, funky manner. We use this space ourselves and for our family also, so we consider it part of our home rather than just a rental. If you are the type person that enjoys casual living at the beach, this home is a great choice.
