Small children and babies are welcome, however the cottage is not childproof as far as wall outlets in cabinets. We do not have a wheelchair accessible shower or bathroom. Keep in mind we are a working farm; the cottage is located in the middle of our barnyard. You will hear animal noises such as barks, brays, and neighs. Our sheep, donkeys and goats are noisy mostly at feeding time. The livestock fencing is electric. You and or your pet will get shocked if you touch the hot wire. Our barn cats wander freely about the property and are very friendly. Our dogs are separated from the cottage by a fence. We try hard to have our dogs inside the main house when you arrive, however if they are outside they will bark at you a lot when you pull in. our neighbors dogs will bark too. The cottage faces our pond and you will hear bullfrogs and peepers singing at night. In the spring and summer months although we do treat for insects you will see insects such as mosquitoes and flies outside. If animal noises, animal smells, and the occasional insect are not your thing the cottage may not be the right place for you.

It's quiet on our semi-private beach, yet you're only a short bike or car ride from the busy beaches and other amenities on our island! Hilton Head offers all the other amenities that you want in a vacation--movie theaters, bike trails, comedy club, museums, live theater, and music concerts! And if you don't want to cook, there are many great restaurants to satisfy all food types and budgets. If you're into shopping, there are two nearby outlet malls, several great consignment and antique stores, the mid-island Town Center shopping center and numerous smaller malls as well. There are tennis courts right outside the villa, as well as a playground for little ones very close by. For the cooler months, there is an indoor pool, spa, and sauna.

There is NO SMOKING allowed inside the condo or on the patio! Please help us keep our beautiful condo smelling great.

There are no motorcycles, RVs, or watercraft of any kind allowed in the resort.

This property observes quiet hours after 10 PM through 8 AM, and we ask guests to be aware and to comply. (This includes music, voices, happy children's running footsteps outside, etc.)

While we love pets, unfortunately they are not allowed on the resort property. There is a strict fine assessed for pets.

Renting bicycles is a great way to explore the island. Bike rentals are available online. Mike’s Bikes or The Bike Doctor are two nearby reliable bike rental stores. They both will deliver & pick up bikes for your use.

Kasey was very quick to respond and give us checkin instructions. We have stayed at The Spa on Port Royal Sound before in a different condo, so we knew we loved the complex. Complex is close to the sound (not a typical beach but still beautiful). Has boardwalk and swings by the water. Kasey’s condo was beautiful and had everything we needed! It had everything for our day at the beach such as a beach wagon, cooler, sand toys, beach blanket, and beach tent. It also was very family friendly and had children’s books, step stools, box fan, and kids bowls/utensils. It had a stocked coffee bar and regular bar that even had utensils for a charcuterie board. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner including some spices. Everything was super clean and she even left us snacks! The condo is on the 3rd floor so no one was above us and was a corner unit. Only had stairs up to the 3rd floor though, no elevators (wasn’t a problem for us). We had a view of the pool from the quiet balcony.
