A cleaning fee of $60 per clean is charged, and an obligatory clean is required once per week, including a change of bed linens and bath & beach towels. Airbnb covers the cost of one housekeeping service for stays of one week or longer. If you're staying longer than a week, additional housekeeping services can be arranged, and payment for those services is due at check-in.

- "We loved our stay at Newstead Cottage. The relaxed vibe, lush garden and cosiness of the interior come across even better than photos. Normally we stay in a hotel, but in covid-regulated times it was a welcome change to have a tranquil place where we could switch off, listen to birdsong and the odd cockerel crowing... it felt much more like we blended in to Bajan life. The kitchen was superbly equipped with a huge fridge so we could comfortably fix breakfast. Other nice touches were the bedroom air conditioning, comfy bed and clean en suite shower room. Communication with the owner Susan was quick and friendly; there was no housekeeper but full change of linen including beach towels was all left there. We loved how close the cottage was to our favourite beach, Accra. We rented beds and shades from both the hotel and also Tiki Bar. We recommend Baby Doll on the boardwalk for breakfast, Shakers for the ribs, Champers for a special occasion, and Tiki Bar for lunch, the view and watching the world go by. We'd definitely come back."

Caroline the host was awesome and would instantly respond to any questions with great advise as to what to do and see on the island.. I highly recommend this place. Some words of advice - Farther Away is in deed just that - so a rental vehicle is a must. When we were there the beach below was filled with seaweed which is happening right now down the entire eastern side of Barbados (and a a lot of the Caribbean), as a result we couldn't use the beach right by the cottage. I'm told that isn't usually the case just bad luck on our part. There are many other incredible beaches within a 20 minute drive. Enjoy the view and the breeze, its truly a magical spot, and the rum punch provide as a welcoming gift is wonderful!"

It comprises of 3 double bedrooms, lounge, 2 bathrooms and a large patio.
Bedroom 1 has a queen size, 5ft bed, ceiling fan and ample wardrobe space. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have twin beds that convert into superking size 6ft beds. These bedrooms have ceilings fans AIR CON please remember this is charged for, AIR CON 10 hours 9 us per night for all bedrooms , total weekly 63 us. if you use it There is ample wardrobe space.
There are two bathrooms with walk in showers.
The lounge is light and airy, with two large comfortable sofas, easy chair, coffee tables and smart TV you are able to watch Netflix ect.
The kitchen is well fitted out and provides all the amenities and equipment for an easy self catering holiday. The kitchen leads out onto a large, attractive alfresco, covered dining area comfortably seating 6/8 people. This patio is surrounded by a private tropical garden.

The cottage was designed to be very open and airy with shutters for windows instead of glass panes, and there is an additional ceiling fan and A/C in the bedroom to keep you cool in the Barbados sunshine. The open plan living area features a very comfortable sitting area and TV with a ceiling fan, and the kitchen is stocked with all the appliances and kitchenware you'll need on vacation. The bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed, A/C, ceiling fan, closet space and an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom is unique with an indoor/outdoor shower that has two shower heads, and a beautiful shell and stone vanity.

The cottage is located on the "platinum" West Coast of Barbados, but is tucked away in a neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle. There may be some neighbourhood noises heard from time to time (roosters, dogs, etc). The beach is located just 1km away, and further down the coast are restaurants, bars, and shopping centers. Whilst the cottage is in walking distance of the beach / main coast road, the return trip will be uphill.

Umi is a fully furnished, stand-alone cottage located next to Jahmoon, our vacation home in Dover. This is a walled, fully enclosed property at the far end of St. Lawrence Gap. Umi is surrounded by a flower garden with fruit trees. Very secure and convenient with a private pool.

Umi has one QUEEN-size bed that will sleep 2 comfortably. It's perfect for a couple and very popular with single females looking for a safe and secure spot near the sea. There is a ceiling fan as well as A/C and a spacious yard.

Free WIFI. No cable TV but there is a Roku device that allows access to Netflix, YouTube, etc. Internet speed is fast but we are subject to occasional outages from the service provider.

Washing machine free to use.
Shower only, no tub.
Security gates on all doors/windows.
Outdoors, there is dedicated patio seating for two.

We are located only 15 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from Sandals Barbados Resort. Dover Beach is a short walk away where you can enjoy water sports or just stretch out and relax.

Enjoy Barbados. The world's best beaches. Surf, snorkel, swim with turtles. Drink rum where rum was invented. Come meet some of the world's nicest people and let loose!
