The rooms are a little shabby chic. There is no proper lounge area, just a couple of big white sofas around a large coffee table. It took us a little moment to stomach all this, but as soon as you have settled in you see how it all works. The ambassadors are fantastic, suggesting anything from destinations for sightseeing trips, restaurants for dinner and transport etc. All their restaurant suggestions were great and they always managed to get us waterside tables. We had an absolutely fantastic time at The House, being very lazy and pampered. There are only couples at the hotel as children under 17 are not allowed, hence a lot of peace and quiet. Daphne, the restaurant next door was great too, as was the complimentary massage in our room. As soon as you showed up downstairs, you would be greated und addressed by name, your sunloungers ready with towels and a bucket of Evian bottles waiting for you. The ambassadors always looked cool and neat, in crisp white or cream linen kaftans and trousers. There is a small, but well-equipped gym and a small swimming-pool, but who needs that if you have the wonderfully warm and clear ocean right in front of you. We really came to appreciate the intimacy of the place, the relaxed atmosphere and the attentive service."

- "This is a beautiful property, with a great beach area. The water is a little wavy, but you can swim, snorkeling is okay if the water is calm. The drinks are amazing, and the food was great! (not always true in an all-inclusive). There is public transportation that is easy to use. There all white vans with maroon strips and funny horns, if you hear it, just wave and jump in. It's $1.75 USD for a ride, doesn't matter if it's a block or across the island. Pay on your way out. The white and yellow buses are the same. We did a catamaran tour, they are all the same, all the boats leave, return at the same time and go to the same areas. Lunch was good, I pet a sea turtle and we snorkeled the ship wrecks. It was a fun day. There is a horse track across the street and down 2 blocks. We walked there. We placed bets at the green building and watched the first 2 races from the grass (free). Then decided to go into the seated area. It was $12.50 USD to sit in a shaded seat by the finish line. There's food venders, and drinks. The races are on Saturdays 3-7 pm. We loved it. Every morning they walk the horses to the beach to swim. The horses love it, and for a tip you can get some pics and sit on a horse and help wet them down. If you like horses it was fun to watch them play in the sand and swim. This is 5:30-7:30 am. There's a gas station across from the track, just go down that road and you will see them. Bridge town has a lot of cool old buildings worth a trip. "
